– Canon Middle East has responded to the regional demand for
efficient print solutions by strengthening its business-to-business
(B2B) portfolio with the launch of 13 new products.
The
‘Canon
for Business’
launch event provided a platform for the company to highlight its B2B
regional strategy and showcase its innovative range of products
catered to the evolving needs of regional industries including
banking, hospitality, education and graphic arts.

launch event is a very important milestone in that journey. Through

the event various stakeholders were shown how the full portfolio of
Canon’s print solutions, services and value-added support, can help
them grow their businesses. Onsite product demonstrations enabled
attendees to experience the product benefits and also fully
understand how it would enable them to grow their printing business.

Demonstrating
its ongoing commitment to provide print service providers (PSPs) with
innovative technology to address their ever evolving needs, Canon
Middle East launched a new colour production cut-sheet press, the
imagePRESS C800 series. The imagePRESS C800 series incorporates both
innovative technology to deliver advanced levels of print quality,
and versatility in both commercial and in-house print environments.
Wide
Format Print: Océ
Arizona 6100 Series
Attendees
of the event were also briefed on the Océ Arizona 6100 series, an
entirely new Arizona series printer platform designed for sign and
display print service providers.
Delivering
high speed without compromising on print quality, the Océ Arizona
6100 caters to a new group of customers who require high-volume rigid
media printing capacity. It delivers award-winning print quality with
the broad application range of true flatbed architecture, enabling
them to push the boundaries of their service offerings. Designed as a
dedicated flatbed system, the series features an extra-large 2.5m x
3.05m vacuum table to keep media and objects stationary during
printing for optimal print quality and rigid media application
versatility.

Format Print: imagePROGRAF range
Two
new 6-colour large format printers including imagePROGRAF iPF6400SE
and iPF8400SE designed to focus on the features that are essential
for the in-house production of posters with lower total cost of
ownership were showcased at the event.
In
the corporate, retail and hospitality markets, in particular, there
is a growing demand for large format printers to enable users to
produce good quality posters at low cost in-house, reducing their
reliance on outsourcing print and allowing them to maintain total
control over when and what they print. The easy-to-use iPF6400SE and
iPF8400SE clearly address these specific needs by allowing in-house
users to economically print attention-grabbing materials the instant
they’re needed for new promotions.

to the evolving market demand for efficient and cost-effective
document management solutions, Canon introduced four different
imageFORMULA scanning solutions including DRM 160, DRM 1060, DRC 225
and P 215 II.
Among
the hero model introduced included Canon’s DR-M1060, the smallest
A3 scanner with a unique U-turn path. The model emphasizes
user-friendly operations with full front side operability. The
ultra-compact machine fits any location with strategic pricing that
allows higher productivity and reliability for Canon customers.
