Smartworld, a leading

Airport Show, one of the world's largest airport-focused exhibitions
and vital link to the airport industry in the MENA and Indian
Subcontinent region, which will be held from May 11 to May 13, 2014
at the Dubai international Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC).

SAAED, one of the UAE's leading traffic systems provider.
Recent industry reports show
that investments worth over USD 100 billion have now been made for
the further development of airports and its related infrastructure in
the Middle East, which reflects the bullish attitude of regional
governments, specifically in the GCC, to position themselves as new
global travel hubs. In fact, airport IT spending in the region has
grown at a Compounded Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 12 per cent since
2010. Industry analysts have shared that the highest priority IT
investment for airports includes improving the passenger experience;
enhancing airport operations; reducing the cost of business
operations and making the passenger processing experience more
convenient.

working towards positioning themselves as premier travel hubs. In

مليار

والبنى التحتية المرتبطة بها، الأمر الذي
يعكس إلتزام الحكومات الإقليمية وخصوصاً
الخليجية بترسيخ مكانتها كمحور عالمي
جديد للسفر الجوي.
كما
شهد حجم الإنفاق على تقنية المعلومات
والخدمات التقنية في المطارات إرتفاعاً
ملحوظاً بمعدل نمو سنوي مركّب قدره 12
بالمائة
بمقارنة مع عام 2010.
وتتركّز
هذه الإستثمارات في مشاريع تعزيز تجربة
المسافرين وتحسين العمليات التشغيليّة
في المطارات، إضافةً إلى خفض التكاليف
المترتبة على الأعمال في سبيل الإرتقاء
بتجربة الركاب والمسافرين إلى أعلى
مستويات الراحة.
