Dubai, UAE, 6
May 2014 – Canon Middle East, a leader in imaging solutions
hosted the second edition of its popular vertical industry seminar -
Insight Live, targeted at the hospitality industry. The
two-day event was attended by hospitality customers from across the
MENA region, where
Canon demonstrated solutions and
applications to help hotels reduce their overall print costs and
enhance overall productivity.
The seminar was
aimed at enabling executives from the regional hospitality industry
unlock new business opportunities and take advantage of new market
potential with the latest print solutions. Attendees were provided
with findings of Canon’s internal research which highlighted new
business opportunities that might result from in-house printing as
compared to a traditional outsourcing scenario.
Naoshi Yamada,
Deputy Managing Director, Canon Middle East said: “Printing
solutions are important to the hospitality industry, yet they can
have a significant impact on budgets. To promote customer loyalty and
help reduce costs in today's competitive hospitality industry, many
hotels are re-thinking the way they use printed documents and the
printing services they offer to guests.”
“Excessive
colour printing, inefficient processes and personal copying can
slowly drain resources. This is where we believe our products and
business solutions can add real value to the development of the
hospitality industry; helping their IT team become more productive
and financially efficient given the printing and document management
requirements. This belief is based on positive feedback from Canon
clients in other industries,” added Yamada.
Hospitality
executives were briefed on all the latest print solutions available
to enhance current services for their customers that could help
improving customer base and further improve customer satisfaction.
This included showcasing solutions that enable companies to produce
personalised and customised print collateral, which are all essential
for the hospitality industry.
Attendees of the
event also got the opportunity to experience the complete portfolio
of products that will help customers see the ‘bigger picture’ of
their business. This also included live demos of workflows and the
latest launch products such as imagePRESS C1+, imagePROGRAF 8400 and
imageRUNNER ADVANCE 8205.
Hendrik
Verbrugghe, Marketing Director, Canon Middle East commented: “We
are pleased to have had yet another successful Insight Live event.
These series of events, each targeted at a different sector helps us
interact with our customers to understand their requirements and
offer the best service tailored to their needs.”
Verbrugghe concluded: “We received positive feedback on our products and solutions on display from the attendees with potential leads who would like to hear more on what Canon can offer them for their business.”
