Support Journal organizes flagship conference
for
the first time in the region

The
Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA) has confirmed its participation
as Platinum Sponsor in the upcoming Middle East Offshore Support
Journal conference 2014, taking place in Dubai in May, in line with
strategic initiatives to further strengthen the regional and global
competitiveness of the local maritime sector. The event is being held
in the Middle East for the first time by Riviera, publisher of the
Offshore Support Journal (OSJ), a pioneering international
publication and event management company specializing in offshore
support.

Offshore Support Journal Conference in Dubai will focus on major
regional and global issues and offer all those involved in the
offshore sector the opportunity to gather intelligence and network

The
conference is of strategic importance as it provides an interactive
platform to discuss ways to cope with emerging challenges and take
advantage of recruitment opportunities in the Middle East. The region
has become an attractive destination for operators of offshore
support vessels in light of the steady growth of its investments into
marine production and exploration.

Executive Director Amer Ali explains that Dubai is leading the march
towards joining the ranks of the most prominent and advanced maritime
centers in the world. He points out that OSJ’s decision to hold the
conference in Dubai confirms the evolution of the emirate’s local
maritime sector which has become a pillar for driving sustainable
growth and overall development.

Support Journal organizes the largest specialist conference on
offshore support vessels in the world annually in London, UK.

commercial issues from a regional perspective and in consideration of
unique local market requirements. The spotlight is now being directed
