April
4 2014, Dubai Media City, UAE: Dubai-based Pascal
Tepper French Bakery is gearing for global growth using the franchise
model, according to general manager, Michel Saab.
He
said that the home-grown brand, a partnership between UAE-based Atlas
Hospitality and the French Master Baker, has just completed three
years of successful trading in Dubai, at the same time ensuring that
a full franchise offering is in place.
“We
made a commitment to growing by franchise from day one. We placed
full effort on developing a successful stand-alone outlet that is
underpinned by a solid franchise offering,” he said.
He
shared that the Pascal Tepper franchise team was recently recognised
by the Middle East Franchise Association when they bagged the
award for the Best Middle East Franchise Brand of 2013.
Saab
also confirmed that the Pascal Tepper team
is hosting more than a dozen potential franchisees over a two-day
discovery forum at Dubai Media City’s Radisson
Blu Hotel, April 7 and 8, 2014.
“The
interactive session will give attendees a chance to find out more
about the concept through discussions on brand, layout, return on
investment, strategy, expansion,
and to quiz the master baker himself, as Chef Pascal Tepper has flown
into the UAE for the event,” he said.
The
event also marks the third anniversary of the brand’s Dubai Media
City flagship, a French modern dine-in bakery,
the
brain-child of Chef Pascal. Pascal holds the Meilleur Ouvrier de
France title – a much-coveted recognition for the best French
bakers that helps make the bakery a firm favourite with a loyal
following.
“We
are very enthusiastic about where the Pascal Tepper franchise
offering is headed. We know we have a winning combination of a
wonderful product, a committed team, alongside consistency in the
best baking practices,” said Chef Pascal.
He
confirmed that the plans see 20 Pascal Tepper bakeries in 36 months
across the Middle East and South East Asia in markets such as Saudi
Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon, Thailand, Japan and South
Korea.
Saab
said that they are looking for partners who have existing experience
in the F&B sector, a site to establish the brand, and funding of
around US$600,000.
The
flagship Pascal Tepper French Bakery is on the main drag in
Dubai Media City and features a range of creations with
authentic ingredients from France to ensure the same typical French
taste and quality.
