Canon’s new multifunctional printers offer easy document handling at an
affordable price for small businesses 

Dubai, UAE, 3 March, 2014: Canon Middle East, world-leader in imaging solutions, is today launching two compact and user-friendly imageRUNNER A3 black-and-white multifunctional printers (MFPs), the imageRUNNER 2202 and imageRUNNER 2202N. Both models combine intuitive print, copy, scan and share functionality with Canon reliability to address the daily document handling challenges of cost-conscious SMBs and small workgroups.  

Productivity in the office

Building on the successful predecessor, the Canon imageRUNNER 2400 series, the new imageRUNNER 2202N offers a range of new features designed to further enhance office productivity. A major difference is that the new device comes network-ready, allowing small networked teams to easily share print and scan functions. In addition, the new smart MF Toolbox desktop application provides users with the ability to easily scan, store and share documents. The intuitive software performs everyday scanning tasks in just a few clicks, with the ability to save scanned images to a PC as a PDF, attach them to an e-mail, or forward them to a specified application. The device also has a ‘favourite settings’ button, which provides quick access to frequently-used settings.

This affordable MFP offers productive print, copy and scan speeds at up to 22ppm. Additional paper capacity, duplex printing functionality or a duplex automatic document feeder can also be added to further increase flexibility and productivity.

Space-saving design

Specifically tailored to the requirements of small work groups, the imageRUNNER 2202 offers SMB customers an affordable way of producing high quality prints, copies and scans. With a compact, space-saving design, both of the new imageRUNNER models can fit seamlessly into smaller offices and workspaces, and are easily placed on a desktop or free-standing with an optional plain pedestal.

Energy and cost-efficient printing

With energy efficiency at the core, both printers feature class-leading TEC ratings consuming as little as two watts in sleep mode. In addition, the devices recover rapidly from sleep mode with Canon’s on-demand fixing technology. Canon’s higher volume genuine toner and longer life drum technology offer efficient high quality black and white documents printing with maximum up-time.

Both models offer productive 22ppm document printing, copying and scanning. The imageRUNNER 2202N is network ready with additional paper cassette, duplex and automatic document feeder options for small workgroups. The imageRUNNER 2202 offers USB print, copy and scan at new levels of affordability and includes a toner in the box.

الإمارات العربية المتحدة، 3 مارس 2014: أطلقت كانون أوروبا، الشركة الرائدة عالمياً في مجال حلول التصوير، طابعتَي imageRUNNER صغيرتين وسهلتَي الاستخدام، متعدّدتَي الوظائف باللون الأسود والأبيض للورق قياس A3، وهما imageRUNNER 2202 وimageRUNNER 2202N. ويجمع الطرازان وظائف الطباعة والنسخ والمسح والتشاطر السهلة مع اعتمادية كانون المعروفة لمواجهة تحديات إدارة المستندات اليومية التي تعانيها المؤسسات الصغيرة والمتوسطة والمجموعات الصغيرة التي يهمّها الحدّ من التكاليف.

تشغيل سهل

صُمّمت طابعتا imageRUNNER 2202 و imageRUNNER 2202Nلتكونا سهلتي الاستخدام ولتعالجا التحديات الرئيسية في الإنتاجية، والتحكم بالكلفة، والأمن، والاندماج للفرق الصغيرة ومجموعات العمل الصغيرة. ولتجهيز الطابعتين بسهولة، يساعد دليل بسيط يمكن قراءته عبر شاشة LCD ذات الأسطر الخمسة المستخدمَ لإتمام عملية الإعداد.

ويقدّم زرّ "الإعدادات المفضّلة" قدرة وصول سريعة إلى مهام المسح والنسخ المستخدمة مراراً، بينما يعطي تطبيق MF Toolbox الذكي الجديد للكمبيوتر القدرة على مسح المستندات وتخزينها وتشاطرها بسهولة. ويؤدّي هذا البرنامج البسيط مهام المسح اليومية بنقرات قليلة فقط، ويمكنه حفظ الصور الممسوحة إلى الكمبيوتر بنسق PDF، وإرفاقها مع رسالة إلكترونية، أو إرسالها إلى تطبيق معيّن.

تصميم يوفّر المساحة

صُمّمت طابعة imageRUNNER 2202 خصيصاً لتناسب متطلبات مجموعات العمل الصغيرة، فتقدّم للمؤسسات الصغيرة والمتوسطة طريقة قريبة من المتناول للحصول على مطبوعات ونسخ ومسح بجودة عالية. ومع تصميم مدمج يوفّر المساحة، بإمكان طابعات imageRUNNER الجديدة الاتساع بسهولة في المكاتب ومساحات العمل الصغيرة نسبياً، إذ يمكن وضعها بسهولة على مكتب أو لوحدها على قاعدة عمودية اختيارية.

طباعة توفّر الطاقة والتكاليف

بما أنّ أساس الطابعتين توفيرُ الطاقة، تتميّز كلتاهما بتصنيفات TEC رائدة في فئتهما، وتستهلكان 2 واط لا أكثر في نمط النوم. علاوة على ذلك، تجهز هذه الأجهزة بسرعة من نمط النوم مع تكنولوجيا التثبيت عند الطلب من كانون. وتقدّم المحبرة ذات السعة الأكبر وأسطوانة الطبع طويلة العمر طباعة مستندات عالية الجودة باللون الأبيض والأسود مع أقصى وقت تشغيل.
