international safety and security exhibition to feature debut Dubai SME
pavilion
Epoc Messe Frankfurt, organiser of Intersec 2014, the region’s premier
international trade and business networking platform for safety, security and
fire protection, announced that participation by UAE companies is set to reach
record levels. This surge reflects the increasing attention being paid to
safety and security by both the private and public sector in the country. Participation
by UAE companies is set to be at least 11% greater than the previous edition.
“It is significant that Intersec 2014, which is set to be the largest edition
yet for the safety, security and fire protection industries, will witness the
biggest involvement of UAE companies,” said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Epoc Messe
Frankfurt. “Local companies have an enormous contribution to make to the safety
and security of the UAE and the region especially during a time where it is in
the process of unprecedented growth and transformation. This will be
increasingly the case as the city gears up for Expo 2020.
“The growth of the industry has been facilitated and nurtured by a
supportive UAE government. In this regard we are also looking to support local
business development and as such are sponsoring the first ever Dubai SME
pavilion at the show giving local companies the opportunity to participate on a
global level and really drive their business forward. Continuous interaction
with international industry leaders and exposure to the latest industrial
trends and developments through events such as Intersec, has helped to develop and
mature the regional industry considerably,” Pauwels added.
UAE participation in Intersec 2014, which will be held under the
patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,
will be reinforced by the presence of an official Dubai SME pavilion being
organised in conjunction with the Department of Economic Development. The
pavilion will feature 10 Dubai-based SMEs who will be making their debut on the
international stage through Intersec.
Dubai SME is an instrumental agency, designed to promote the growth and
development of small and medium enterprises. Their main aim is to encourage
entrepreneurship and assist start-up companies to evolve into successful
business models.
Leading UAE security management
solutions providers Arkan, who are also Headline Sponsor of Intersec 2014, said
that the requirement for professional security providers was growing across the
region. “As developers and companies realise the vital need to maintain safety and security at the communities
and new developments there is a growing requirement for professionally trained
security personnel,” said Mohammed Murad Ahmed, VP Arkan Security Management
Solutions.
Also participating with a major presence at Intersec 2014 is renowned
specialists in fire protection equipment and machinery, NAFFCO. Radwan Hallabi,
Export Manager at NAFFCO, stated: “We are the largest manufacturers of fire
safety and security products in the Middle East and we promote the innovative
Made in UAE products proudly amongst our counterparts from across the world.
The security industry is one of the fastest growing fields in the region and

"إنترسك" نمو جناح الإمارات وزيادة في عدد الشركات المحلية المشاركة
بنسبة 11 في المئة وتجدر الإشارة بأن مؤسسة محمد بن راشد لتنمية المشاريع الصغيرة
والمتوسطة توفر الفرصة للشركات الإماراتية المتخصصة في صناعة حلول وتقنيات الأمن
وتقوم من خلال إنترسك، بدعم وتطوير أعمالهم.
كما أكدت
الشركات الإماراتية والجهات المحلية المشاركة في الدورة الجديدة لمعرض إنترسك الذي
تنظمه إيبوك ميسي فرانكفورت والذي ينطلق في يناير المقبل، على أهمية النتائج
الإيجابية التي حققتها مشاركة أكثر من 155 شركة إماراتية في الدورة السابقة وخاصة
الشركات المتخصصة في معدات مكافحة الحرائق ووحدات المراقبة والأمن.

الكثير الذي تقدمه لقطاع الأمن والسلامة في الإمارات والمنطقة بوجه عام في وقت
تشهد فيه عملية نمو وتحوّل غير مسبوقة ".
وتابع باولس قائلا: "يرجع الفضل في نمو
وتطور هذه الصناعة إلى الدور الداعم الذي تقدمه حكومة الإمارات. وفي هذا السياق
نتطلع إلى دعم تطوير الأعمال المحلية ومن ثم نقوم برعاية الجناح الأول لمؤسسة محمد
بن راشد لتنمية المشاريع الصغيرة والمتوسطة في المعرض والذي يوفر الفرصة للشركات
المحلية لدعم وتطوير أعمالهم. كما ساهم
التفاعل المستمر مع رواد الصناعة الدوليين والاطلاع على أحدث توجهات
وتطورات الصناعة من خلال أحداث مثل إنترسك في تطوير ونضج الصناعة الإقليمية بشكل

تتعزز المشاركة الإماراتية في إنترسك 2014
الذي يقام تحت رعاية سمو الشيخ منصور بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، بمشاركة جناح رسمي
لمؤسسة محمد بن راشد لتنمية المشاريع الصغيرة والمتوسطة الذي يُنظم بالاشتراك مع
دائرة التنمية الاقتصادية. يشارك من خلال الجناح 10 مشاريع صغيرة ومتوسطة من دبي
تقدم نفسها على الساحة الدولية للمرة الأولى من خلال إنترسك.
وتعد مؤسسة محمد بن راشد لتنمية المشاريع
الصغيرة والمتوسطة وكالة فعالة تهدف إلى دعم نمو وتطوير المشاريع الصغيرة
والمتوسطة. ويتمثل هدفها الرئيسي في تشجيع ريادة الأعمال والمساعدة في إنشاء
الشركات وتطويرها إلى نماذج أعمال ناجحة.
وصرحت شركة "أركان"، المورد
الإماراتي الرائد لحلول الإدارة الأمنية والراعي الرئيسي لمعرض إنترسك 2014، أن
متطلبات موردي الأمن الاحترافيين تتزايد على مستوى المنطقة. وأوضح محمد مراد أحمد،
نائب رئيس الشركة قائلا: "في ظل إدراك المطورين والشركات للحاجة الماسة
للحفاظ على الأمن والسلامة في المجتمعات وفي ضوء التطورات الحديثة يتزايد الطلب
على رجال الأمن من ذوي التدريب الاحترافي".
