Company donates paints to repaint campus
facilities

Jotun Paints, one of the world’s
leading producers and distributors of paints and powder coatings, brought
cheers and smiles to the many kids currently enrolled at Safe Center, a
non-profit organization established to help children with Autism and Asperger’s
Syndrome, as the company recently donated paint and facilitated the painting of
the campus facilities just in time for the school’s first day of classes. The
activity, which is part of Jotun’s corporate social responsibility (CSR)
initiatives, demonstrates the company’s continuing efforts to give back to the
local community.
Looking to add more colour and life
into the Safe Center, Jotun offered to provide its high quality indoor and
outdoor paints and the necessary materials needed for repainting the school. The
company donated ‘Fenomastic Stain Resistant for Interior’ and ‘Jotashield for Exterior’.
“We would like to thank Jotun for
helping and donating paint to Safe Center, as well as donating their time and
effort in painting the outdoor and indoor areas of the school. The school looks
wonderful and has definitely brought a lot of smiles to the children,” said Ms. Mahboba Yousef Mohamed, Director, Safe Center.
Safe Center is a non-profit
organization established to help children with Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome.
The center, which is located in Al Safa 2, Dubai, offers two accredited online curricula--an
academic curriculum and an applied behaviour therapy-based programme. In
addition, various therapies are offered like speech and language, behavioural,
occupational, play and music therapies. Students enrolled at Safe Center are
encouraged to realize their full potential and to fulfil their roles as
life-long learners within the community.
“We support Safe Center’s vision of
helping these special children develop their skills and talents while at the
same time preparing them to become key members of the community. Visiting the
Safe Center campus, we decided to donate our interior and exterior paint
products like ‘Fenomastic Stain Resistant’ and ‘Jotashield’ to make the campus
look more vibrant and lively. Just seeing the happy reactions and smiles from
the kids returning to Safe Center for the new school year is definitely worth
all the time that we spent in painting the school,” concluded Biren Arora, General
Manager, Jotun Paints.

للدهانات" (Jotun
Paints) الرائدة
في مجال إنتاج وتوريد الدهانات والطلاء وبودرة الحماية، تجسيد إلتزامها تجاه خدمة
المجتمع وتعزيز مسؤوليتها الإجتماعية، وذلك من خلال رسم البسمة والفرحة على محيا الأطفال في "مركز سيف للتوحّد ومتلازمة الاسبرجر".
وهو مركز غير ربحي يهدف إلى مساعدة وتعليم الأطفال الذي يعانون من مرض التوحّد
ومتلازمة الاسبرجر. وهدفت المبادرة التي جاءت في وقتٍ مناسب تزامن مع بدء العام الدراسي
في المركز، إلى المساعدة في طلاء المرافق التابعة للمركز بإستخدام دهانات
"جوتن".
وتمثّلت مشاركة
"جوتن" في هذا النشاط بتقديم مجموعة مختارة وعالية الجودة من دهانات
"فينوماستيك المقاومة للبقع" (Fenomastic Stain Resistant) لإعادة طلاء الجدران الداخلية، و"جوتاشيلد"
(Jotashield) للأسطح الخارجية. وتزيينها بألوان زاهية تضفي
مزيد من الحيوية والإنتعاش للمركز.
وتعليقاً على المبادرة، قالت
محبوبة يوسف محمد، مديرة "مركز سيف للتوحّد ومتلازمة الاسبرجر":
"نشكر شركة "جوتن" لمساعدتها لنا وتقديمها حزمة مميّزة من الدهانات،
وبذلها الوقت والجهد الكبيرين، الذي ساهم في إضافة لمسة جمالية مميّزة للمركز ورسم
البسمة والبهجة على وجوه الأطفال."
يتخذ "مركز سيف للتوحّد
ومتلازمة الاسبرجر" من منطقة "الصفا 2" بدبي مقراً له، ويعد منظمةً
غير ربحية تم تأسيسها لرعاية الأطفال الذي يعانون من مرض التوحّد
ومتلازمة أسبرجر. ويعتمد المركز على إثنين من المناهج التعليمية القائمة
على الإنترنت، والتي تضم منهجا أكاديمياً، وبرنامجاً يقوم على العلاج السلوكي
التطبيقي. بالإضافة إلى علاجات اخرى متعلقة بالنطق والكلام، والسلوك، والعمل،
والموسيقى.. ويتم تشجيع طلاب المركز إلى تحقيق كامل إمكاناتهم والوفاء بأدوارهم
كمتعلمين تجاه مجتمعهم.

مدير عام شركة "جوتن للدهانات": "نؤيد رؤية "مركز سيف" الرامية
إلى مساعدة الأطفال في تنمية مهارتهم وكفاءتهم ليصبحوا أعضاءً فاعلين في المجتمع.
