Complete Range of new mobile, tablet and styli products to be showcased at GITEX 2013
Dubai, September 18th 2013 - Wacom Europe GmbH, the EMEA headquarters of global market leader in pen tablets, interactive pen displays, digital pens and signature solutions, today announced their participation in this year‘s GITEX Technology Week during a press conference held today at Atlantis The Palm Hotel in Dubai. Starting October 20th (Hall 2, Stand C2-5) Wacom will showcase its recently launched new products for creative professionals, consumers and industry solutions.
"Looking at the expected growth rate in Middle East’s Entertainment and Media Market and being aware of the fact that the market size ranks number five in the EMEA region already, we considered this region to even increase our market presence and the awareness for our products", Wacom’s General Sales Manager for Eastern Europe, Russia, Middle East and Africa, Alexander Maliyenko, pointed out.
At GITEX, Wacom will present its full and nearly completely new range of products. Already at the centre of interest are the newly launched Cintiq Companion products, both the Windows 8 and the Android version closing the gap between the Cintiq interactive pen displays and a fully-fledged PC and media tablet respectively. Another member of the new mobile family is the equally well responded Intuos Creative Stylus, being the first stylus to offer the Wacom drawing experience with a pressure sensitive pen to the iPad.
“Having so many new products to present in all business areas, we expect this year’s GITEX to attract many new customers”, Maliyenko, added. As all the new products will be available for visitors to test and try, GITEX offers a nice opportunity to learn about Wacom products first hand.
Wacom’s Cintiq goes mobile
Staying on top of evolving trends in the creative community and responding to frequent requests from professional customers, Wacom extends the creative experience from the desktop to a mobile environment with the new Cintiq Companion line of creative tablets. The Cintiq Companion line, available in two models, enables creative professionals to work wherever they want. The Cintiq Companion runs Windows 8 and full versions of creative software and offers everything a customer would expect from Wacom’s Cintiq products. The Cintiq Companion Hybrid, on the other hand, is a traditional Cintiq when plugged into a Mac or PC, but when used as a mobile device, it works as a stand-alone Android™ tablet with enough power to do light sketching and start creative processes with suitable apps.

Wacom’s new Intuos Creative Stylus delivers serious creative fun to the iPad
New Intuos Creative Stylus is a pressure-sensitive digital pen for sketching, drawing and painting on an iPad (Mini, 3 and newer). Offering the best drawing experience on an iPad, the new stylus allows the ad agency creative designer to do a quick concept drawing on the train, or the art student to sketch out an idea before class. With iPads used more and more in a creative surrounding, the Intuos Creative Stylus fills a gap in the workflow. Connected via Bluetooth 4.0 it works seamlessly

دبي: كشفت شركة "واكوم أوروبا" (Wacom Europe)، المقر الإقليمي لـ "واكوم" في منطقة أوروبا والشرق الأوسط وإفريقيا والمتخصصة في الأجهزة اللوحية التفاعلية والأقلام الرقمية والحلول التكنولوجية الرائدة، عن مشاركتها في "أسبوع جيتكس للتقنية 2013" والذي تنطلق نشاطاته يوم 20 أكتوبر/تشرين الأول المقبل، وذلك خلال مؤتمر صحفي عقدته اليوم في فندق أتلانتيس بدبي. وتعتزم "واكوم" تسليط الضوء على محفظتها الجديدة من المنتجات والحلول التي تستهدف خبراء ومحترفي التصميم والمستهلكين.
ولفت ألكسندر ماليانكو، مدير عام المبيعات في منطقة أوروبا الشرقيّة وروسيا والشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا، إلى أنّه نظراً لحجم النمو الكبير المتوقع الذي سيشهده سوق الترفيه ووسائل الإعلام في الشرق الأوسط المصنّف خامساً على مستوى أسواق منطقة الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا، انتهجت الشركة سياسة جديدة تقوم على تعزيز حصتها السوقية في هذه المنطقة الحيويّة والتعريف بمنتجاتها وتسليط الضوء عليها.
وتعتزم "واكوم" استعراض مجموعتها الواسعة والمتكاملة من المنتجات الجديدة، وذلك بعد قيام الشركة مؤخراً بإطلاق منتجات "سينتيك كومبانيون" العاملة بأنظمة التشغيل "ويندوز 8" و"أندرويد"، والتي لاقت نجاحاً كبيراً نظراً لدمجها ما بين مزايا لوحات الرسم الإلكتروني المزودة بأقلام رقمية وقوة الحاسوب اللوحي. كما كشفت الشركة النقاب عن قلم "إنتووس كرييتف" الرقمي الذي يعد أول قلم رقمي تطلقه "واكوم" يتوافق تماماً مع أجهزة آيباد ويتميز بحساسية شديدة للضغط.

حواسيب "سينتيك" اللوحية من "واكوم" تدخل عالم المحمول
تماشياً مع إستراتيجيتها الرامية إلى مواكبة كل ما هو جديد في ثورة التكنولوجيا وإلتزامها المطلق بتعزيز تجارب العملاء وإثراء تجربة المستخدم ونقل التجربة الإبداعية من حواسيب سطح المكتب إلى البيئة المحمولة من خلال سلسلة "كومبانيون" من الحواسيب اللوحية، أطلقت "واكوم" إصدارين جديدين من أجهزتها الخاصة بالرسم الإلكتروني. ويدعم حاسوب "سينتيك كومبانيون" نظام التشغيل "ويندوز 8" وحزمة متكاملة من البرمجيات الإبداعية ويحمل جميع مزايا منتجات "واكوم" من الحواسيب المحمولة. وفي المقابل، يتميز حاسوب "سينتيك كومبانيون هايبرد" بأنّه يدعم الإتصال بالحواسيب الشخصية أو أجهزة الماكنتوش ويوفر المزايا ذاتها التي توفرها أجهزة "سينتيك" التقليدية، لكن عند إستخدامه كحاسوب محمول دون الإتصال بالأجهزة السابقة، فإنّه يتحول إلى حاسوب لوحي يعمل بنظام التشغيل "أندرويد" ويتمتع بطاقة كهربائية كافية لإجراء بعض الرسمات المحدودة وتشغيل عدد معين من التطبيقات الإبداعية.
وصُمم الحاسوبان اللوحيان الجديدان لتعزيز الإبداع ضمن بيئة العمل ومنح المستخدم حرية كبيرة أثناء تفجير طاقاته الإبداعية. وحرصت "واكوم" على الحفاظ على تجربة الإستخدام الفريدة التي تتمتع بها سلسلة "سينتيك" حتى عند إستخدامها كأجهزة محمولة، وذلك من خلال المزايا الفريدة التي تتمتع بها شاشتا اللمس التفاعلية فائقة الجودة بمقاس 13 بوصة و22 بوصة على التوالي، إلى جانب أقلام "برو بين" (Pro Pen) الرقمية من "واكوم" وخاصية الإستدارة وحساسية للضغط تصل لـ 2048 مستوى، ومجموعة من المفاتيح سريعة الوصول (ExpressKeys)، ولوحة تحكّم دائرية وقائمة إختصارات.
لا حدود ولا زمن للإبداع مع "سينتيك كومبانيون" فالعالم مرسمك. ويلبي حاسوب "سينتيك كومبانيون" متطلبات العملاء ويمنحهم كل ما يلزمهم لإجراء تصميماتهم وإبداعاتهم وفنونهم سواء في المرسم أو أثناء التنقل، وذلك من خلال محطة عمل متكاملة ومحمولة تعمل بنظام التشغيل "ويندوز 8" ومدعومة بمعالج متعدد النوى من الجيل الثالث من طراز "إنتل" وبطاقة عرض مرئي فائقة الجودة من طراز "إنتل أتش. دي 4000" توفر القدرة والطاقة اللازمة لتصميم الأجسام أو تحرير الصور. ويأتي هذا الجهاز بطرازين، الأول بذاكرة سعة 8 جيجابايت وبسواقة صلبة بسعة تخزين قدرها 256 جيجابايت وبنظام التشغيل "ويندوز 8". بينما يأتي الطراز الثاني بذاكرة سعة 8 جيجابايت وبسواقة صلبة بسعة تخزين قدرها 512 جيجابايت وبنظام التشغيل "ويندوز 8 برو".
جهاز "سينتيك كومبانيون هايبرد" ثنائي الوظيفة
عندما يتم وصل "سينتيك كومبانيون هايبرد" (Cintiq Companion Hybrid) مع جهاز الكمبيوتر فإنه يوفر كافة مزايا جهاز "سينتيك 13 إتش. دي" (Cintiq 13HD)، في حين يعمل عند فصله كلوحة رسم رقمية محمولة تناسب الرسامين والمصممين الراغبين بالرسم والتلوين أثناء التنقل. ويأتي هذا الجهاز اللوحي مزوداً بمعالج "نفيديا تيغرا 4" (Nvidia Tegra 4) ونظام التشغيل "آندرويد جيلي بين" (Android Jellybean) وبرامج مصممة خصيصاً مثل "واكوم كرييتف كانفاس" (Wacom Creative
