- Software AG's University Relations department is inviting students and faculty members worldwide to create a showcase project for next year’s CeBIT
- The project should illustrate Software AG’s data management, integration and business process optimization technology in a model form
- The winner may receive funding up to €10,000 and will have the chance to present the project to customers and the press at Software AG's CeBIT booth
Dubai, September 12, 2013 - Software AG's University Relations department has announced its global CeBIT 2014 idea contest for university students and faculty members. The company has invited faculty and students from universities everywhere to submit creative proposals for a showcase project to be presented at CeBIT 2014. The project should highlight Software AG's technology and show the potential of the software with regard to the four mega trends big data, mobile, social and cloud services in a hands-on way. If selected, up to ten thousand euros are available to implement the winning project.
The Software AG product suite helps organizations achieve their business objectives faster. The company's big data, integration and business process technologies enable customers to drive operational efficiency, modernize their systems and optimize processes for smarter decisions and better services. Students and professors from around the world are being called on to develop a compelling technology and business model in order to concretely demonstrate the benefits that companies can gain from Software AG's portfolio. The selected winning model will be demonstrated at Software AG’s booth at CeBIT 2014 and presented to the CeBIT audience by the students.
The showcase at the last CeBIT – Smart FactoryKL’s Augmented Manufacturing – was very popular with visitors. Augmented Manufacturing from the SmartFactoryKL features a context-sensitive work area that guides an individual, with the help of augmented reality, through complicated production processes. The system, in combination with the ARIS MashZone, runs as an app on tablets and provides innovative and state-of-the-art support for workers in the assembly industry.

This year's contest is now open, and interested parties can enter in writing to university@softwareag.com by September 20th, 2013. The concept must be submitted by October 18th, 2013. Winners will be notified on November 4th, 2013 and may receive funding up to €10,000 to implement the showcase project so it can be presented at CeBIT 2014, to be held March 10-14, 2014.

أعلن قسم علاقات الجامعات في شركة "سوفت وير إيه. جي" (Software AG) عن إطلاق مسابقة أفكار "سيبت 2014" (CeBIT 2014) العالمية لطلاب الجامعات وأعضاء الهيئات التدريسية. وقامت الشركة بدعوة أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية والطلبة في الجامعات العالمية لتقديم مقترحات مبتكرة لمشروع معرض يتم تقديمه خلال "سيبت 2014". وينبغي أن يسلط المشروع الضوء على تكنولوجيا شركة "سوفت وير إيه. جي" ويظهر بطريقة عملية إمكانات برامجها فيما يتعلق بأربعة اتجاهات هي؛ البيانات الضخمة والتكنولوجيا النقالة والخدمات الاجتماعية والسحابية، حيث سيتم تقديم 10.000 يورو لتنفيذ المشروع الفائز.
وتساعد مجموعة البرمجيات التي تطورها "سوفت وير إيه. جي" ، الشركات على تحقيق أهداف أعمالها بشكل أسرع. كما تتيح تقنيات البيانات الضخمة والتكامل وتحسين سير العمل من شركة "سوفت وير إيه. جي" للعملاء تعزيز الكفاءة التشغيلية وتحديث أنظمتهم وتحسين العمليات لاتخاذ قرارات مدروسة وتقديم خدمات أفضل. وتجري دعوة الطلاب والأساتذة من حول العالم لتطوير تكنولوجيا ونموذج أعمال مقنع من أجل توضيح الفوائد التي يمكن للشركات أن تكسبها من جراء استخدام محفظة حلول "سوفت وير إيه. جي". وسيتم عرض النموذج الفائز في جناح شركة "سوفت وير إيه. جي" في معرض "سيبت 2014"، حيث سيتم تقديمه لجمهور المعرض من قبل الطلاب.
وحظي العرض الفائز في آخر دورة من "سيبت"-وكان "التصنيع المعزز" (Augmented Manufacturing) لشركة "سمارت فاكتوري كيه. أل" (Smart FactoryKL)- بإقبال كبير من قبل الزوار، حيث تميز بمساحة عمل مخصّصة توجه الفرد بمساعدة تقنية الواقع المعزز ومن خلال عمليات الإنتاج المعقدة. ويتم تشغيل النظام، مع استخدام برنامج "آريس ماش زون" (ARIS MashZone)، كتطبيق على أجهزة الكمبيوتر اللوحية وهو يوفر دعماً مبتكراً ومتطوراً للعمال في صناعة التجميع.

وتعدّ مسابقة هذا العام مفتوحة الآن، حيث يمكن للجهات المهتمة المشاركة فيها عن طريق الكتابة إلى العنوان university@softwareag.com في موعد أقصاه 20 سبتمبر/أيلول الجاري. ويجب تقديم المشاركة بحلول 18 أكتوبر/تشرين الأول المقبل، حيث سيتم إخطار الفائزين بتاريخ 4 نوفمبر/تشرين الثاني وسيحصلون على مبلغ 10.000 يورو من أجل تنفيذ مشروع المعرض بحيث يمكن تقديمه في دورة العام المقبل من معرض "سيبت"، الذي سيعقد خلال الفترة من 10 إلى 14 مارس/آذار 2014.
