SameDay Dental Implants, DHCC, the first clinic to offer ‘same day dental implant’ services in the Middle East, has announced the appointment of Prof. Steen Sindet-Pedersen as Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon to join the existing team dental specialists Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons and Prosthodontists .He specializes in dental and maxillofacial implantology, bone grafting, reconstructive surgery and orthognathic surgery and will be utilizing his expertise to treat patients with implants as well as patients with diseases, injuries, tumors and deformities of face and jaws at SameDay Dental Implants Clinic in Dubai Healthcare City.

Dr. Sindet-Pedersen has received his dental degree from the University of Aarhus, Denmark after which he went on to complete the specialist training as Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon from the same university. In 1991, he received a degree as Dr. Med. Sci. (Hons) also from Aarhus University, Denmark. He was appointed lifelong Professor in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery by Queen Margaret of Denmark in 1993 .He was appointed the first professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Implantology in Europe at the Eastman Dental Institute ,University College London in 1998 . He has published more than 85 peer reviewed scientific papers within the fields of implants, bone grafting and reconstruction of facial malformations.

وحصل البروفيسور سينديت- بيدرسون على درجة البكالوريوس في طب الأسنان من "جامعة آرهوس" في الدنمارك، ومن ثمّ خضع لبرنامج تدريب خاص في مجال جراحة الفم والوجه والفكين. وفي العام 1991، حاز على درجة الدكتوراه في العلوم الطبية بدرجة شرف من الجامعة ذاتها. وحظي بشرف تعيينه أستاذاً جامعياً في قسم جراحة الفم والوجه والفكين من قبل الملكة مارغريت، ملكة الدانمارك، في العام 1993. وعُيّن في العام 1998 أستاذ أول في زراعة الفم والوجه والفكين في أوروبا في "معهد إيستمان لطب الأسنان" في "كلية لندن الجامعية". وقام بنشر أكثر من 85 ورقة علمية تتناول مواضيع عدة في مجال زراعة الأسنان وتطعيم العظام وترميم وتجميل تشوهات الوجه.
