Innovative methodology outlines entire business model in one page

Dubai Business Women Council (DBWC) today (September 12, 2013) collaborated with management consulting firm ShiftIN Partners and EngageME, a creative employee communication and engagement consultancy, to hold a seminar on Business Model Generation (BMG) at Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
BMG is one of the most innovative methodologies currently available today that facilitates ‘out-of-the-box’ discussions on strategy and business models. It employs a graphical strategic management and entrepreneurial tool to map out the nine building blocks of a business model, namely, Customer Segments, Value Propositions, Channels, Customer Relationships, Revenue Streams, Key Resources, Key Activities, Key Partnerships and Cost Structure, in a pre-structured canvass. The result, called a Business Model Canvas, is used to describe, design, challenge, invent and pivot an organization’s business model in just one page.
During the DBWC-hosted seminar, moderators discussed BMG concepts, methodology and examples. Participants then engaged in a Business Model exercise, followed by a presentation of works and interactive discussions.

نظم "مجلس سيدات أعمال دبي" بالتعاون مع كل من شركة "شيفت إن بارتنرز" للإستشارات الإدارية وشركة "إنجيج مي" المتخصّصة في مجال تقديم الخدمات الاستشارية المبتكرة لدعم إدماج الموظفين بأعمالهم والتواصل معهم، اليوم (الموافق 12 سبتمبر/أيلول 2013) ندوة خاصة حول نظام "إعداد نموذج الأعمال" في مقر غرفة تجارة وصناعة دبي.

وتخلّل الندوة التي تم إنعقادها تحت تنظيم واستضافة "مجلس سيدات أعمال دبي"، جملةً من النقاشات الموسّعة مع الخبراء وأصحاب الشأن حول مواضيع تتعلق بمفهوم ومنهجيات "إعداد نموذج الأعمال". كما ضم الحدث نشاطات عملية بمشاركة الحاضرين لتطبيق النظام، تلاها عرضاً تقديمياً تفاعلياً حول الممارسات المتبعة عالمياً في هذا المجال.
