New administrative posts further expand world-class workforce

ALHOSN University, a leading Abu Dhabi-based university dedicated to high-quality, value-based education, has commenced a new academic year on a high note with the renewal of its operating license and the growth of its employee and student populations.
Topping the list of good news is the recent decision of the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to renew ALHOSN’s operating license for another 5 years through 2018. The university has also unveiled new administrative posts that further expand its world-class workforce.
ALHON’s academic offerings this year include 17 Bachelor degree, one diploma, two graduate certificate, and 9 master degree programs under 9 departments.
To start off the new school year, Vice Chancellor & CEO Professor Munther Talal Momany expressed great pride and gratitude at the confidence shown in the new management team by his H.E. Khalifa Mohamed Rubaya Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees. He also wished all the members of the ALHOSN community well as the university embarks on another year of ‘global knowledge with local vision.’
“Each year our beloved university has grown bigger and better, producing future leaders and productive members of society eager to make a genuine difference. No less than the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has shown confidence in our enduring ability to pursue our goals and provide world-class education. I look forward to another great year of achievements with the help and support of the entire ALHOSN community,” said Professor Momany.
Abu Dhabi-based ALHOSN University is a private educational institution founded in 2005 by the Abu Dhabi Holding Company in response to growing local demand for high-quality-value-based educational institutions. It currently offers undergraduate and graduate programs under the Faculties of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Business, and Arts and Social Sciences. ALHOSN accepts students of all nationalities and also accommodates youths with special needs. All its programs are accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

استهلت جامعة الحصن، المؤسسة التعليمية الرائدة في مجال توفير التعليم النوعي والمتميز ومقرها أبوظبي، السنة الأكاديمية الجديدة بأخبار واعدة شملت تجديد رخصتها الأكاديمية وزيادة كادرها الوظيفي وأعداد منتسبيها من الطلبة.
ويأتي في مقدمة الأخبار الجيدة القرار الأخير الذي اتخذته وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي في دولة الإمارات والقاضي بتجديد الرخصة الأكاديمية لجامعة الحصن لمدة خمس سنوات أخرى حتى العام 2018. كما كشفت الجامعة أيضاً عن وظائف إدارية جديدة لزيادة قوتها العاملة رفيعة المستوى.
وتشمل البرامج الأكاديمية للجامعة هذا العام 17 برنامجاً خاصاً بدرجة البكالوريوس ودبلوم واحد وبرنامجين للدراسات العليا و9 برامج لشهادة الماجستير ضمن 9 أقسام.
وعبر رئيس الجامعة البروفيسور منذر طلال مومني عن فخره وامتنانه للثقة التي أبداها سعادة خليفة محمد ربيعة المهيري، رئيس مجلس أمناء الجامعة، بالفريق الإداري الجديد. كما تمنى لكافة أعضاء مجتمع جامعة الحصن التوفيق مع دخول الجامعة عاماً جديداً من "المعرفة الشاملة برؤية محلية".
وقال البروفيسور مومني: "تنمو جامعتنا وتتطور عاماً بعد عام لتخرج قادة المستقبل والأعضاء المنتجين التواقين لإحداث فرق حقيقي في المجتمع. وأبدت وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي ثقتها بقدرتنا المستمرة على تحقيق أهدافنا وتوفير خدمات التعليم رفيعة المستوى. ونتطلع إلى سنة أكاديمية أخرى مليئة بالإنجازات من خلال مساعدة ودعم كامل أعضاء مجتمع الجامعة".
وتأسست جامعة الحصن خلال العام 2005 من قبل شركة أبوظبي القابضة استجابة لتزايد الطلب المحلي على مؤسسات التعليم عالية الجودة. وتوفر الجامعة حالياً 17 برنامجاً خاصاً بدرجة البكالوريوس و9 برامج خاصة بالدراسات العليا ضمن كلية الهندسة والعلوم التطبيقية وكلية الأعمال وكلية الآداب والعلوم الاجتماعية. وتستقبل الجامعة الطلبة من مختلف الجنسيات، بالإضافة إلى الطلبة من ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة. وتم اعتماد كافة البرامج الدراسية في "جامعة الحصن" من قبل وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي في دولة الإمارات.
