Major players from the international lighting design industry are increasingly looking at the regional
markets for sustained business development. They also see it as an opportunity
to be involved in ground breaking design projects which are at the cutting edge
of the global industry. This is driving interest in Light Middle East, the region’s leading trade show for lighting
and design, as a prime vehicle to engage with regional trade buyers and influencers.
Organiser of Light Middle East 2013, Epoc Messe Frankfurt announced
growing support from international and regional trade associations for the
region’s premier industry networking and business development event.
Leading international industry associations from Italy and India are
amongst those who have confirmed their support for Light Middle East 2013,
which will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre
from October 7th to 9th.Also confirming their crucial
backing to the trade fair are the Emirates Society of Engineers and the
Emirates Green Building Council, underlining the growing stature of Light
Middle East as the definitive lighting industry gathering in the region.
“Light Middle East with its region-wide reach is easily the most representative
meeting of the international lighting industry serving the region today,” said
Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Epoc Messe Frankfurt. “The growing support of
international and regional trade associations underlines our importance as a
leading business generator and trend setter for the lighting industry,” he
added.
The Italian Pavilion at Light Middle East is being organised by Promus,
which is supported by the Italian government. Featuring a number of large and
medium-sized Italian lighting manufacturers and designers, the pavilion is
certain to be a key attraction at the exhibition.
“The Middle East is a market of growing significance to us in the Italian
lighting industry,” said Manlio Illumi, Area Manager of Promus. “Through our
presence at Light Middle East we hope to be able to better influence local
buyers and traders as well as get a better understanding of the regional trade.
We also aim to play a significant part in promoting industry best practice.”
The Electrical Components Manufacturers Association of India (ELCOMA) is
organising the large Indian Pavilion at the exhibition which will feature a
range of manufacturers and suppliers of lighting fixtures and design. “Our
exhibitors are offering a wide range of lighting products including street
lighting, down lights, and retrofit lamps,” said Shyam Sujan, General Secretary
of ELCOMA. “Promoting energy efficiency in lighting, ELCOMA is the exclusive representative
of the Indian lighting industry, acting as an important link to support,
promote and develop cooperation among manufacturers and to facilitate the
overall interests of its members,” he added.
Also lending vital support to Light Middle East is the European association
for home and building control standards, KNX. Speaking about their support for
Light Middle East 2013, Tarek Zakaria, Head KNX Building Automation UAE/
Southern Gulf said: “Being the most significant trade event for the regional
industry, Light Middle East brings together all the major players from the
regional trade. This provides us with a great arena to spread our message region
wide.”
Light Middle East 2013 is expected to feature strong interest in energy
efficient products and sustainable lighting solutions. The growing demand for
green lighting solutions is likely to drive interest in more efficient lighting
solutions, better design and environmentally friendlier technology.
Light Middle East 2013 will also feature Light Insight Arabia – a comprehensive
programme of conferences and workshops. Highly acclaimed by lighting industry
professionals, designers and consultants, the interactive forums, instructional
workshops and seminars will throw fresh light on key industry issues and trends.

مشاركة رواد شركات الإضاءة في "لايت
ميدل إيست 2013" بدبي
تشهد الدورة الجديدة لمعرض "لايت ميدل إيست 2013 " الذي
تنظمه إيبوك ميسي فرانكفورت، مشاركة أكبر الأسماء في عالم الإضاءة وحلول الإنارة
الذكية والتي تنطلق في أكتوبر بدبي.
ومن أبرز الأسماء التي تضيء سماء المعرض "فيليبس" ،"جنرال
إلكتريك للإنارة"، جمعية المهندسين الإماراتيين، شركة
"بروموس"
بدعم من الحكومة الإيطالية، الجمعية الهندية لمصنعي المكونات الكهربائية (إلكوما).
وتقدم الشركات العالمية أحدث المنتجات وحلول الإضاءة المطورة في قطاع الإنارة كما تكشف لزوار المعرض
الأفكار الخاصة بتطوير حلول أكثر ابتكارا في مجالات التصميم والتشغيل والتحكم
والتي تساهم بدورها في تلبية متطلبات واحتياجات متخصصة تساهم في خفض التكاليف.
وقال أحمد باولس الرئيس التنفيذي في إيبوك ميسي
فرانكفورت :" في الوقت الذي تشهد فيه المنطقة نمواً
سكانياً وتطوراً مدنياً كبيرين، باتت الشركات الحكومية تدرك أهمية مزايا أنظمة
الإنارة الذكية، وجذب الأنظار نحو المنتجات البيئية، في جهودها الهادفة للحد من
انبعاثات غاز ثاني أكسيد الكربون، وتوفير الطاقة. ويحاول معرض "لايت ميدل
لإيست 2013" الذي ينطلق في دبي في أكتوبر المقبل تسليط الضوء على التقنيات
الخضراء صديقة البيئة وأنظمة الإنارة الذكية التي تحد من التكاليف".
وتشير التقارير الصناعية إلى توجه دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي نحو
تطبيق نُظم الإنارة الذكية ونشر المنتجات التي تعمل بالطاقة الشمسية والطاقات
المتجددة وتقنيات
إل إي دي على نطاق أوسع بهدف ترشيد
استهلاك الطاقة الكهربائية.
كما تشير الدراسات والأبحاث
إلى نسبة قطاع الإنارة في إمارة دبي الذي يشكل 15٪ من الاستهلاك الكلي للطاقة في الإمارة،
بنحو 1500 ميغاوات، فإن من الضروري تحسين فاعلية الطاقة الكهربائية وتنويع
مصادرها، لضمان الاستمرارية في المستقبل.
وتوفر الإضاءة التي تعمل
بتقنية إل إي دي صديقة للبيئة، استهلاك الطاقة والتكاليف بنسبة تصل إلى 70٪، كما
تخفض انبعاثات غاز ثاني أكسيد الكربون بنسبة 90٪، ويمكن استخدام هذه الإضاءة،
لإنارة الطرق الرئيسة والأنفاق والجسور والمرافق العامة وتطبيقات المواقف.
من المقرر أن ينطلق معرض "لايت ميدل
إيست 2013" بين 7 و9 من أكتوبر المقبل في مركز دبي الدولي للمؤتمرات والمعارض،
الذي سيشكل منصة فريدة للتعرف على تقنيات الإضاءة الخضراء ونظم الإنارة الذكية
الموفرة للكهرباء بالإضافة إلى جديد القطاع من خلال مشاركة أهم الأسماء والهيئات
والشركات والأجنحة الإقليمية والدولية والتي تلتقي في مدينة دبي.
من جانبه أوضح مانليو إلومي، مدير المنطقة
في بروموس قائلا: "يفتح أمامنا معرض لايت ميدل إيست، سوقا في غاية الأهمية
بالنسبة لنا في صناعة الإضاءة الإيطالية ومن خلال مشاركتنا في معرض لايت ميدل إيست
نأمل التأثير بشكل أفضل على التجار المحليين والتعرف أكثر على التجارة الإقليمية.
كما نهدف إلى لعب دور هام في ترويج أفضل ممارسات الصناعة".
وأوضح شيام سوجان، الأمين العام في ELCOMA قائلا: "يقدم العارضون المشاركون ضمن
الجناح الهندي تشكيلة واسعة من منتجات الإضاءة مثل إضاءة الشوارع، الأضواء السفلية
ومصابيح التهيئة. وتعد ELCOMA حيث أنها الممثل الحصري لصناعة
الإضاءة الهندية وتعمل كحلقة وصل هامة لدعم وتشجيع وتطوير التعاون بين المصنعين ولتسهيل
المصالح العامة لأعضائها".
ومن بين أبرز الداعمين لمعرض لايت ميدل إيست
2013 الجمعية الأوروبية لمعايير التحكم في البيوت والأبنية كاي إن إكس. وتعليقا
على دعم الجمعية للمعرض أوضح طارق زكريا مدير كاي إن إكس لأتمته المباني في
الإمارات والخليج الجنوبي، قائلا: "يعد معرض لايت ميدل إيست 2013 الحدث
التجاري الأهم في الصناعة الإقليمية حيث يضم كبار لاعبي الصناعة الإقليمية وهو ما
