As part of the initiative; Jumia employees have put in money together and collected a good sum to prepare and give out Ramadan packs to poor families in Bani Suef. In addition, the website is giving away many items for poor and orphan kids in order for them to properly celebrate the Eid Holiday. Furthermore, Jumia is donating 100 products to be distributed as Eid gifts to families in poor villages.
Those charity projects are done in cooperation with Alashanek Ya Balady, a well-known association for sustainable development in Egypt. AYB is considered one of the most successful NGO’s in Egypt; it is known for its creative solution for major problems in the country and its dedication to anything that can help bring a better Egypt.
Jumia also cooperated with a small NGO called “Mafish Fakeer Fi Misr”. This cooperation comes in an attempt to extend the access of clean safe water in small villages around Bani Suef. This water is essential for basic needs such as; drinking, cooking and washing. Jumia Egypt is trying to make that true with the help of “Mafish Fakeer Fi Misr”. These initiatives are part of Jumia’s plan to help our country develop and grow.

وستتم هذه المشروعات الخيرية بالتعاون مع جمعية "علشانك يا بلدي"، وهي جمعية مشهورة للتنمية المستدامة في مصر. تُعد "علشانك يا بلدي" إحدى أكثر المنظمات غير الحكومية نجاحًا في مصر؛ فهي مشهورة بحلولها المبتكرة للمشاكل الكبيرة في البلاد، كما أنها مكرسة لأية مشكلة يمكنها أن تساعد مصر لتصبح أفضل.
كما تعاونت جوميا مع جمعية غير حكومية أخرى وهي "مفيش فقير في مصر". ويعتبر هذا التعاون هو محاولة لتوسيع الحصول على مياه نقية ونظيفة في القرى الصغيرة المجاورة لبني سويف. حيث تعد المياه من الاحتياجات الأساسية للشرب والطبخ والغسيل. كما تحاول جوميا مصر أن تنفذ هذا المشروع بالتعاون مع جمعية "مفيش فقير في مصر". وتُعد هذه المبادرات جزء من مخطط جوميا لمساعدة البلاد للنمو والتطور.
