[UAE, August 6 2013] – Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University (HBMeU) has announced that it will organize the 2014 Congress under the theme “Leading Transformation to Sustainable Excellence” from March 3 to 5, 2014 at Atlantis The Palm in Dubai. Attracting leading academics, experts, practitioners, representatives from NGOs and media institutions, and government decision makers, the Congress will provide a valuable platform to discuss the most pressing issues related to the learning environment in the Arab World and exchange international best practices and innovative ideas that will lead the successful transformation to sustainable excellence.
In line with the ongoing commitment to promoting excellence and innovation across e-Learning, Quality, Healthcare and Environment, the 2014 Congress will feature three important concurrent scientific conferences: The 7th Quality in the Middle East Conference – Towards a Sustainable Excellence: Leading a Successful Transformation; the 6th e-Learning Excellence in the Middle East Conference – Leadership, Design and Technology for 21st Century Learning; and the 5th Health & Environment in the Middle East Conference – Transformation for Better Healthcare and Environment.
The Congress will also feature a series of high-profile activities including review sessions of research papers from all over the world, three policy and strategy round tables, scientific research awards, hands-on workshops, among others.

الإمارات، 6 أغسطس 2013، كشفت "جامعة حمدان بن محمد الإلكترونية" عزمها على تنظيم "المؤتمر العام 2014" تحت شعار "قيادة مسيرة التميز المستدام" وذلك في الفترة بين 3 و5 آذار/مارس 2014 في فندق "أتلانتس النخلة جميرا" في دبي. ويمثل المؤتمر الذي يجذب مختلف الأكاديميين وصناع القرار الحكوميين والخبراء والمنظمات غير الحكومية والمؤسسات الإعلامية، منصة لمناقشة أهم المواضيع والمسائل ذات الأهمية الاستراتيجية في التعليم للعالم العربي واقتراح الأفكار المبتكرة وتبادل أفضل الممارسات.
واستكمالاً للالتزام المتواصل بترسيخ ثقافة الابتكار والتميز في التعليم الإلكتروني والصحة والبيئة والجودة، سيتخلل جدول أعمال الدورة الجديدة من الحدث تنظيم ثلاثة مؤتمرات علمية متزامنة تشتمل على "المؤتمر السابع للجودة في الشرق الأوسط" تحت شعار "معاً نحو تميز مستدام... مسيرة ناجحة" و"المؤتمر السادس للتميز في التعليم الإلكتروني في الشرق الأوسط" تحت شعار "القيادة والتصميم والتكنولوجيا ملامح التعليم في القرن الحادي والعشرين" و"المؤتمر الخامس للصحة الإلكترونية والبيئة في الشرق الأوسط" تحت شعار "التحول نحو صحة أفضل وبيئة أكثر آمناً".
ومن المقرر أن يشهد المؤتمر سلسلة من النشاطات التفاعلية عالية المستوى وفي مقدمتها حلقات نقاش الأوراق البحثية المقدمة من مختلف أنحاء العالم وثلاث اجتماعات طاولة مستديرة متمحورة حول رسم السياسات والاستراتيجيات وجوائز البحث العلمي وورش العمل وغيرها الكثير.
وأوضح الدكتور منصور العور، رئيس الجامعة، "أنّ "المؤتمر العام2014 " يحظى بأهمية استراتيجية باعتباره منصة مثالية لتشجيع الابتكار والتميز المؤسسي والأكاديمي والبحث العلمي وملتقىً عالمي لإثراء مخزون المعرفة في المنطقة"، لافتاً إلى أنّ "المؤتمر حقق نجاحاً منقطع النظير خلال الدورات الماضية التي شهدت مشاركة نخبة من كبار المفكرين والعلماء والباحثين المعنيين بالشأن المعرفي في مناقشات موسّعة كان لها أثر إيجابي في دفع عجلة تطوير قطاع التعليم في منطقة الشرق الأوسط". وأشار العور إلى أنّ "الدورة المقبلة المتمحورة حول "التميز المستدام" ستشهد طرح رؤى معمّقة ومناقشة استراتيجيات فاعلة من شأنها تعزيز زخم مسيرة التميز التعليمي على المستوى الاقليمي والارتقاء بمستوى التمكين التكنولوجي ونشر ثقافة الجودة والصحة والبيئة على نطاق واسع بين الأوساط الإقليمية."
