Dubai, UAE – 22 July, 2013 – Liverpool Football Club and Standard Chartered Bank have today announced a two year extension to their main sponsor agreement.
The bank signed up as the Club’s main sponsor in July 2010, appearing on the front of the Red’s shirt for the last three seasons. The partnership has now been extended to run until the end of the 2015/16 season. Financial terms of the agreement remain confidential.
Over the last three years, Standard Chartered and Liverpool FC have reaped the benefits of their partnership through a number of initiatives – in particular, through a series of award-winning charitable and community-based campaigns around the world. Fans, players, legends and staff have come together on a number of high-profile occasions to highlight and help tackle global issues such as preventable blindness and HIV awareness.
As part of the Club’s strategy to bring fans closer to the Club no matter where they are in the world, Liverpool FC has just embarked on a tour of Asia and Australia in partnership with Standard Chartered, where they will play in front of packed stadiums in Jakarta, Melbourne and Bangkok.

"ستاندرد تشارترد" يجدّد عقد الرعاية مع "ليفربول"
دبي، الإمارات – 22 يوليو 2013 – جدّد بنك "ستاندرد تشارترد" عقد الرعاية الرسمية مع نادي "ليفربول" لكرة القدم لمدة عامين إضافيين، على أن يتم بموجبه رعاية القميص الأحمر حتى نهاية موسم 2015/2016. ويأتي هذا التمديد إستكمالاً للإتفاقية التي تم توقيعها بين الطرفين في يوليو/تموز 2010 والتي إستمرت للمواسم الثلاثة الماضية. ولم يتم الإعلان عن البنود المالية للإتفاقية الجديدة.
وحرص "ستاندرد تشارترد" على الإستفادة المثلى من شراكته مع "نادي ليفربول" خلال السنوات الثلاثة الأخيرة من خلال إطلاق عدد من المبادرات الإنسانية والحملات التوعوية الحائزة على جوائز عالمية والتي جمعت الجمهور واللاعبين القدامى والجدد والموظفين في عدة مناسبات رفيعة المستوى لتسليط الضوء على بعض أبرز القضايا العالمية كمكافحة مرض فقدان البصر الممكن تجنبه والتوعية بشأن فيروس نقص المناعة البشرية.
ويُذكر أن "ليفربول"، وبالتعاون مع بنك "ستاندرد تشارترد"، قد بدأ جولته الإستعدادية في آسيا وأستراليا حيث سيخوض عدداً من المباريات في ملاعب جاكرتا وملبورن وبانكوك وسط حشد كبير من الجماهير، تماشياً مع إستراتيجية النادي الرامية إلى الوصول إلى كافة جماهيره من مختلف أنحاء العالم.
وفي معرض تعليقه على التمديد، قال بيلي هوجان، رئيس الشؤون التجارية في نادي "ليفربول":

ومن جهته، أكّد بيتر ساندس، المدير التنفيذي لبنك "ستاندرد تشارترد"، على أن رعاية البنك لنادي "ليفربول" قد أثبتت نجاحها لكلا الطرفين، وأضاف: "نحن سعداء بتمديد الشراكة مع نادي "ليفربول" الذي يحظى بشعبية كبيرة في الأسواق التي نعمل بها. واننا نتطلع إلى الإستفادة من فرصة مواصلة العمل مع هذا النادي العظيم ومشجيعه الكرام."
