Sales revenue reaching USD 18.5 billion, a 10.8% increase year on year
Cairo, Egypt, 28 July 2013: Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, today announced its unaudited financial and operational results for the first half of 2013. In the first six months of the year, Huawei generated revenues of USD 18.5 billion, an increase of 10.8% over the same period in 2012. Based on this robust growth and other positive business indicators, Huawei expects to generate a net profit of 7-8% in 2013.
“Our success in H1 2013 was mainly driven by the steady growth of the Carrier Network business, the expansion of the Enterprise business, and the fast growth of the Consumer business, as well as the continuous enhancement of our overall operational efficiency. Revenues and profit are in line with our expectations,” said Cathy Meng, Chief Financial Officer, Huawei. “From these positive indicators, we believe Huawei will generate strong performance and profit margins in the second half of this year and are confident that we will achieve our goal to increase revenue by 10%.”
Looking ahead, we will continue to focus on our pipe strategy, increase investment in core growth areas for the business, and boost efficiency through a series of operational and management reviews and improvements. Huawei will also create more value for our customers by providing them with even more innovative and competitive products and services.

عوائد المبيعات تصل إلى 18.5 مليار دولار امريكى، بزيادة 10.8% عن نفس الفترة العام الماضي
القاهرة – مصر - 28 يوليو 2013: أعلنت اليوم شركة هواوي، وهي إحدى الشركات الرائدة عالميًا في توفير حلول تكنولوجيا المعلومات والاتصالات، عن نتائجها المالية والتشغيلية غير المراجعة للنصف الأول من عام 2013. ففي الأشهر الستة الأولى لهذا العام، حققت هواواي عوائد بقيمة 18.5 مليار دولار امريكى، بزيادة قدرها 10.8% عن نفس الفترة لعام 2012. وبناء على هذا النمو الكبير والكثير من مؤشرات الأعمال الإيجابية الأخرى، تتوقع هواوي أن تحقق صافي ربح بنسبة 7-8% بنهاية عام 2013.
وقد صرحت كاثي منج، المديرة المالية لهواوي بقولها "إن نجاحنا في النصف الأول من عام 2013 يعزى بصفة رئيسية إلى النمو المطرد لأعمال شبكات الشركات الناقلة، والتوسع في أعمال الشركات، والنمو السريع لأعمال المستهلكين، فضلاً عن التحسين المستمر في الكفاءة التشغيلية العامة. وقد جاءت العوائد والأرباح متوافقة مع توقعاتنا. ومن خلال هذه المؤشرات الإيجابية نعتقد أن هواوي ستحقق أداء أقوى وهوامش ربح أعلى في النصف الثاني لهذا العام، ونحن واثقون في أننا سنحقق هدفنا لزيادة العائد بنسبة 10%."
واستشرافًا للمستقبل، سنستمر في التركيز على استراتيجيتنا لتحسين الشبكات، وزيادة الاستثمار في مجالات النمو الرئيسية للأعمال، ورفع الكفاءة من خلال سلسلة من المراجعات والتحسينات التشغيلية والإدارية. كما ستعمل هواوي على خلق المزيد من القيمة لعملائها من خلال تزويدهم بالمنتجات والخدمات الأكثر ابتكارًا وتنافسية.
