Cairo, Egypt April 8th 2013 - Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology solutions provider and Touch, the leading mobile telecommunications company in Lebanon, announced the successful demo of LTE FDD 800MHz/1800MHz CA (carrier aggregation) technology on Touch’s live network recently. The field trial achieved a maximum of 250Mbps download throughput, which is almost the highest speed theoretically.
CA (Carrier Aggregation) is an essential technology in LTE-Advanced. The technology includes Intra-band carrier aggregation and Inter-band carrier aggregation. The test on Touch’s network is the first global application of the inter-band carrier aggregation on 800MHz and 1800MHz. Compared with the Intra-band carrier aggregation, this technology is more advanced and provides more flexible usage of spectrum resources. At the same time, as 800MHz and 1800MHz are becoming the major frequency resource for LTE, the CA test on these two bands will be very significant for the CA technology commercialization.

شركة الإتصالات اللبنانية تاتش وشركة هواوي قامتا بالتعاون المشترك من أجل تنفيذ أول شبكة 800MHz/1800 MH تعمل على ترددات LTE FDD بتكنولوجيا
القاهرة – مصر 8 إبريل 2013 - قامت شركة هواوي، الشركة الرائدة في مجال تقديم حلول تكنولوجيا المعلومات والإتصالات، وشركة "تاتش اللبنانية" وهي شركة الإتصالات الرائدة في لبنان، بالإعلان عن نجاح التجربة العملية التي قامتا بها الشركتان والتي كانت تهدف إلى تطبيق تكنولوجيا الـ LTE FDD على ترددات 800MHz/1800 MHz على شبكة شركة "تاتش للإتصالات". حيث حققت الشركة سرعة تحميل وصلت إلى 250 Mbps والتي تعد سرعة التحميل القصوى والاسرع على مستوى العالم.
تعد تكنولوجيا الـCarrier Aggregation ”CA” الحل الأمثل عند تطبيق شبكة الـ LTE Advaced. حيث أن هذا الحل هو الوحيد الذي سيسمح بتوفير سرعات تحميل عالية وفائقة وهي تنقسم إلى نوعين: intra-band CA وinter-band CA. يعد تطبيق تكنولوجيا inter band CA على ترددات 800MHz و1800 MHz التجربة الأولى على مستوى العالم. فى حين تعتبر تكنولوجيا الـInter-band أكثر تطوراً وتوفر إستخدام أفضل لموارد الطيف الترددي Spectrum بالمقارنة بـ intra-band CA. وبفضل هذه التجربة الناجحة والفريدة أصبح للترددين 800Mhz و1800MHz أهمية جوهرية عند تطبيق تكنولوجيا الـ LTE وبالتالي حقق نجاح هذه التجربة أيضاً إنجازاً غير مسبوق لتقنية الـ Carrier aggregation.

إبتداءاً من يناير 2013، قامت هواوي بتطبيق 73 شبكة LTE على مستوى العالم مما جعلها تمتلك 39% من إجمالي الأسهم العالمية. يشهد تطبيق شبكة هواوي LTE في أكبر الشبكات على مستوى العالم حيث قامت بتنفيذ أول شبكة LTE DD800 لشركة Vodafone D2 بألمانيا، وأكبر تغطية لشبكةLTE لشركة Yota بروسيا و أول شبكة SingleRAN WiMAX/LTE لشركة موبايلي بالمملكة العربية السعودية.
