Cairo, Egypt – 22 April 2013: CEMEX in Egypt will supply approximately 30,000 cubic meters of ready-mix concrete to build the 12-story Accor-NSGB 4-star hotel and office complex on an almost 6,000 square meter plot in Tahrir Square in downtown Cairo—the site of Egypt’s January 25th, 2011 revolution. The complex will average over 1,000 square meters on each floor, comprising a gross built-up area of 12,715 square meters.
Tahrir Square, located in the center of Egypt’s capital city, is a public transport hub, the site of myriad commercial, educational, and governmental buildings. This crowded, bustling location, combined with the size of the project, presents complicated logistical challenges.
The initial stage of the project requires the company to cast a number of concrete foundations of up to 1,000 cubic meters apiece—each taking place every 15 days and requiring an average of approximately six hours to accomplish. CEMEX in Egypt solved the logistical demands of the job by employing about 20 concrete trucks and two concrete pumps for each cast. In addition to tests conducted at an external laboratory, the company technologists attend each cast to ensure that high quality requirements are met. Thanks to careful planning, work is progressing on time and on schedule.

سيمكس ريدى ميكس تورد الخرسانة الجاهزة لأول فندق فى ميدان التحرير بعد ثورة 25 يناير
القاهرة, مصر - 22 أبريل : 2013سيمكس فى مصر سوف تقوم بتوريد 30,000 متر مكعب من الخرسانة الجاهزة لبناء فندق سياحى ومجمع ادارى لشركة أكوور العالمية على مساحة 7,000 متر مربع تقريبا بميدان التحرير بوسط القاهرة والذى كان شاهدا على أحداث ثورة 25 يناير.
ميدان التحريرهو أكبر ميادين مدينة القاهرة فى مصر. يعتبر ميدان التحرير من الميادين القليلة في القاهرة ذات التخطيط الجيد الفريد إذ يتفرع منه على شكل شعاع وإليه عدد ليس بالقليل من أهم شوارع وميادين القاهرة بالإضافة إلى العديد من البنوك ومؤسسات الدولة. ويعد من أهم التحديات اللوجيستية للمشروع موقعه بطبيعته الحيوية والمزدحمة بالأضافه الى اعتباره رمز للتعبير عن رأى المتظاهرين.
والجديربالذكر أن المرحلة الأولى من المشروع سوف تتطلب صب الأساسات الخرسانية على مراحل كل مرحلة تستغرق 15 يوما ويتم فيها صب ألف متر مكعب خلال 6 ساعات. تغلبت سيمكس فى مصر على المشكلة اللوجيستية عن طريق استخدام 20 خلاطة خرسانية و مضختي خرسانة لصب كل مرحلة. كما تحرص الشركة على الاستعانة بأفضل خبرائها فى مجال الجودة لضمان تقديم أعلى مستوى خدمة لعملائها.
