Discussions focus on the fundamentals of Strategy Execution and the Balanced Scorecard

Dubai Business Women Council (DBWC) has recently concluded the second session of the Network Majlis for 2013 with Roberto Wyszkowski, Partner at ShiftIN Partners, conducting a special presentation about the fundamentals of Strategy Execution and the Balanced Scorecard. Organised under the theme “Building the Strategy Execution Capabilities”, the DBWC Network Majlis discussed the rationale behind Strategy Maps and the importance of a measurement system in evaluating a company’s performance.
The key points discussed during the session included the foundations for successful strategy execution, the relevance of sound objectives to provide clear direction for any organization, the Balanced Scorecard, and the core of a Performance Management Framework. Participants also learned about the relevance of having robust KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to provide clear direction for the organization, and the magnitude of good strategy governance to effectively manage the execution journey.
A veteran consultant and trainer specialising in strategy planning and execution, change management, and corporate performance management, Wyszkowski recently led the initial stages of implementation of the performance management framework for a municipal utility system in the UAE, helping set national goals and targets and identify the priorities and supporting resources needed to achieve them. During the past several years, Wyszkowski has also managed major projects in public administration, engineering, telecommunications, utilities, financial services, and manufacturing throughout a wide range of management cultures in the UK, Germany, Luxemburg, Switzerland, Sweden, Venezuela, USA, Spain, and the Middle East.

"مجلس سيدات أعمال دبي" يناقش "تنفيذ الإستراتيجيات" واعتماد "نظم قياس الأداء المتوازن" خلال فعاليات لقائه الشهري
20 فبراير 2013 - اختتم "مجلس سيدات أعمال دبي" (DBWC) مؤخراً الجلسة الثانية من فعاليات لقائه الشهري للعام الحالي، والتي تخلّلها محاضرة خاصة للسيد روبرتو ويسزكوسكي من شركة "شيفت إن بارتنرز" حول نظام "تنفيذ الإستراتيجيات" و"نظام قياس الأداء المتوازن". وهدفت هذه الجلسة تحت عنوان "بناء قدرات تنفيذ الإستراتيجيات" إلى تسليط الضوء على ماهية خرائط الإستراتيجيات وضرورة إعتماد نظام قياس لتقييم الأداء المؤسسي في الشركات.
وارتكزت الجلسة على عدد من المحاور الرئيسية ذات الصلة، أهمها الشروط الأساسية لإنجاح الإستراتيجيات، ومدى إرتباط أهداف الشركة بتحديد سير اعمالها، وإعتماد "نظام قياس الأداء المتوازن"، والتعريف بالأسس العملية لأطر إدارة الأداء. كما اطلعت الحاضرات في الجلسة على مدى إرتباط مؤشرات الأداء الإيجابية برسم خط أعمال واضح للشركة، وعلى أهمية إدارة الإستراتيجيات بطريقة أفضل من أجل ضمان تنفيذها بفعالية.
ويشار إلى أن ويسزكوسكي، وهو خبير استشاري ومدرِّب متخصص في مجال وضع الإستراتيجيات وتنفيذها وإدارة التغيرات وإدارة الأداء المؤسسي، قد بدأ العمل مؤخراً على المراحل الأولى من تطبيق نظام إدارة الأداء لإحدى الجهات البلدية في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، والذي من شأنه المساعدة في وضع الأهداف الوطنية والأولويات ودعم الموارد اللازمة لتحقيقها. كما اشرف ويسزكوسكي خلال السنوات القليلة الماضية على عدد من المشاريع الكبرى ذات ثقافات إدارية مختلفة في مجالات الإدارة العامة والهندسة والإتصالات والخدمات العامة والخدمات المالية والتصنيع في كل من المملكة المتحدة وألمانيا ولوكسمبورغ وسويسرا والسويد وفنزويلا والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية واسبانيا والشرق الأوسط.
وأوضح روبرتو ويسزكوسكي أن القدرة على تطوير الإستراتيجيات وتنفيذها تعد رافداً أساسياً من روافد نجاح أي مؤسسة تجارية. وأثنا على عضوات "مجلس سيدات أعمال دبي" اللواتي يتمتعن بالمهارات الأساسية والمعرفة اللازمة في هذا المجال، مما يضع المجلس على الطريق الصحيح نحو خلق جيل جديد من القياديات النسائية في الدولة. وأكمل ويسزكوسكي بالحديث عن الجلسة ودورها في اتاحة الفرصة أمام سيدات الأعمال للتعرّف بشكل أفضل على أسس تنفيذ الإستراتيجيات بنجاح، مشيداً بالجهود الدؤوبة التي يقوم بها المجلس لتوفر منصة ممتازة لتمكين المرأة الناجحة في المجتمع.
