Senior executives from global mobile networks will gather at the Wyndham Grand Istanbul Levent, on 1-3 December
for the world renowned Mobile Money & Digital Payments Global.
Celebrating its ninth year, the event
will see operators convene to collaborate with industry peers and gain
insight into the latest technology innovations and the future of
payments.
A comprehensive conference
programme will explore how mobile handsets are gaining ground as the
chosen platform for payments, fast becoming the 'remote control for
life'. Stephen Becker, Senior Vice President of
Deutsche Telekom, will present a compelling presentation about introducing innovative micro-payment services into a fast urbanising society. Regional spotlight case studies will provide insight into high growth markets with particular focus on the GCC
and CIS regions. The Asia Case Study delivered by Xavier Marzain
from Globe Telecom will examine the 2020 tipping point for mobile
financial services in Asia, outlining
the perfect ingredients of a digital payments enabled population.
Also among the distinguished list of conference speakers are
Miguel Valero, Director of Digital Banking at Banorte, who will lead a panel debate on payment industry highlights
and
Victor Dostov, Director of the Russian Electronic Money Foundation, who
will provide a unique look at Russian ePayments along with solutions for
future global development.
Launching
this year is the Merchant Payments Theatre, designed to help banks and
merchants adapt to a rapidly accelerating digital payments marketplace.
Mobile operators will
gain understanding of the realities of a
cashless future, progress towards a fully interoperable landscape and
the embedding of social payments, as the core of traditional banking and
retail structures.
Returning for the second year,
Payments Dragons' Den Global will allow mobile and network
operators to familiarise themselves with the latest developments from
FinTech start-ups. Entrepreneurs will pitch their game-changing ideas
live to a panel of experts and investors. The brand new Payments
Accelerator will run alongside Payments Dragons’ Den,
showcasing promising up-and-coming FinTech start-ups and connecting
them with potential partners and accelerator programmes.
More than 40 leading
service providers will showcase the latest payments technologies in a
wide-ranging exhibition. They include Deutsche Telekom, e ServGlobal,
Terra, Telepin Software, Amdocs and Estel Technologies.

launching this year. The industry renowned Global Awards will now
combine with Mobile Money & Digital Payments

achievement across both areas.
