Dubai, United Arab Emirates, December 3: Renowned
businesswoman Rasha Al Dhanhani, the mastermind behind the PappaRoti
café brand in the UAE was awarded ‘Arab Entrepreneur of the year’ for
the 2014 ‘Stars of Business’ award.
Presented
by the National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) and in collaboration with SME
Advisor Middle East, a publication of CPI Media Group, the ‘Stars of
Business Awards’ celebrate and honor triumphing performers across the
SME industry.
The
award ceremony was held at the Madinat Arena, on November 30, with the
presence of over 800 notable guests and a powerful keynote speech by His
Excellency Abdulla Al Otaiba, Senior Managing Director & Group Head
of Global Retail and Commercial Banking, NBAD.
The
‘Stars of Business Awards’ attracted a record of 3000 entries from over
910 companies across 23 awards categories, making it the biggest SME
event in the region.
Expressing her deep appreciation, Ms. Al Dhanhani said she was humbled by this recognition.
“"I
am deeply touched by this recognition and would like to salute and
encourage all entrepreneurs who strive and work hard because with
sincere dedication and focused work anything is achievable,” she said.
Ms.
Al Dhanhani also added that she was thankful for her family,
colleagues, friends and employees. “They are behind my success.”
Ms.
Al Dhanhani is the Chairperson of PappaRoti Café, the Malaysian brand
which she has transformed into a favorite café in several countries in
the Middle East and beyond.
She
holds the franchise licensing rights for PappaRoti in the GCC, Middle
East, CIS, North Africa, India, Paris, Switzerland and Brazil.
Ms.
Al Dhanhani has proven her position of power with Rasha Investments and
Brandnoise Creative Agency which she both owns. Combining business
skills with her marketing savvy, she has multiplied her PappaRoti Café
business to more than 53 outlets in the Middle East region in only five
years. To date, she has empowered many entrepreneurs with franchise
opportunities and is actively creating job opportunities to hundreds of
employees in the region.

المتميزين المبدعين في قطاع المؤسسات الصغيرة والمتوسطة.
أقيم
حفل توزيع الجوائز في مدينة أرينا يوم ٣٠ نوفمبر بحضور أكثر من ٨٠٠ من
كبار الضيوف، وتخلّله كلمة رئيسية معبّرة ألقاها سعادة عبدالله العتيبة،
المدير التنفيذي ورئيس مجموعة الخدمات المصرفية للأعمال التجارية العالمية،
لدى بنك أبوظبي الوطني.
وقد
حقّقت "نجوم جوائز الأعمال" رقماً قياسياً لعدد طلبات التقديم والذي فاق
٣،٠٠٠ طلباً من أكثر من ٩١٠ مؤسسة توزّعت على ٢٣ فئة من الجوائز، مما
يجعلها أكبر فعالية للمؤسسات الصغيرة والمتوسطة في المنطقة.
وصرّحت
السيدة الظنحاني معبّرة عن عمق امتنانها لهذا التكريم، قائلة: "لقد أثّر
في نفسي هذا التكريم، وأوّد أن أحيّي وأشجّع جميع رجال وسيدات الأعمال
الذين يسعون جاهدين، لأن العمل الجاد بتفانٍ وصدقٍ قادر على تحقيق أكبر
الإنجازات."

الخليجي والشرق الأوسط ورابطة الدول المستقلة، وشمال أفريقيا، والهند،

كما أثبتت السيدة الظنحاني مركزها القيادي من خلال كل من رشا للاستثمارات ووكالة الإعلان "براندنويز"، وهي تمتلك كلتي المؤسستين. جمعت سيدة الأعمال البارزة بين مهارات التجارة والتسويق والإبداع، والتي بفضلها تمكّنت من إفتتاح أكثر من ٥٣ فرعاً لباباروتي كافيه في منطقة الشرق الأوسط خلال خمس سنوات فقط. كما عملت على تمكين العديد من رجال الأعمال من خلال توفير فرص الامتياز، وحرصت فاعلة على فتح العديد من فرص العمل أمام المئات من العاملين في المنطقة.
