in an age where children spend their time on video games, computers or mobile phones, wagamama has decided to shake things up with their latest drawing competition aimed at kids exploring their creative side. the japanese-inspired noodle house is calling all kids to get involved in the competition by either visiting a wagamama outlet or asking their teachers to give wagamama a call. the competition ties in with kids going back to school on 15 January, and the final submission date is February 15
how can kids take part in this contest? It’simple. in the restaurants, or at school, kids will be given a hoshi sheet to design and draw a home for hoshi. hoshi could live in a cave or a castle - there is no right or wrong. after hoshi’s home is perfected, the sheets are handed back to the staff or teachers, before they are sent to wagamama hq for evaluation. there are no rules of regulations for the competition – just creativity, so kids can use their imagination!
at the end of a month of fun, our elite panel of judges will pick one winner and four runners up on February 19th, and the victor will be awarded the ultimate birthday bash with hoshi
wagamama will also be taking kids ‘back to school’ this january with the continuation of educational visits across dubai locations. under the watchful eye of hoshi (and maybe a few adults) children will learn about how the japanese-inspired dishes are made, orders are taken and the restaurants are run. kids also will get to take home goody bags available as part of the school visits, which includes origami inspired worksheets, stickers, aprons, jute bags and an attendance certificate

في عصر حيث يقضي الأطفال وقتهم على ألعاب الفيديو وأجهزة الكمبيوتر أو الهواتف النقالة، قرر مطعم واغاماما لجعل الأمور مختلفة قليلاً مع أحدث مسابقة للرسم تهدف إلى استكشاف الجانب الإبداعي لدى الأطفال. يدعو موطن النودلز اليابانية هذا، جميع الأطفال للمشاركة في المسابقة من خلال زيارة أحد فروع مطعم واغاماما أو الاستفسار من معلميهم للاتصال بمطعم واغاماما. المسابقة تجري بالتزامن مع عودة الاطفال إلى المدرسة بتاريخ 15 يناير 2015، وتاريخ التقديم النهائي لها هو 15 فبراير.
كيف يمكن للأطفال المشاركة في هذه المسابقة؟ الجواب بسيطة للغاية. في المطاعم أو المدارس، سوف يتم إعطاء الأطفال ورق رسم لابتكار تصميم أو رسم منزل جميل لـ هوشي. ويمكن للأطفال أن يبدعوا حسب إمكانياتهم، إذ يمكن أن يعيش هوشي في كهف أو قلعة أو غير ذلك. وبعد الانتهاء من تصميم أو رسم منزل هوشي، سوف يقوم فريق المطعم أو الكادر التدريسي بأخذ الأوراق، ثم يتم إرسالها إلى المقر الرئيسي لمطعم واغاماما لغرض التقييم. لا توجد قوانين أو ضوابط لهذه المسابقة ما عدا الإبداع، لذا يمكن للأطفال استخدام مخيلتهم إلى أبعد مدى.
وعند انتهاء شهر من المرح، سوف تقوم لجنة التحكيم باختيار فائز واحد ليحتل المركز الأول بالإضافة إلى أربعة فائزين آخرين بتاريخ 19 فبراير 2015، وسوف يتم تكريم الفائز بحفلة عيد ميلاد رائعة مع هوشي. سوف يقوم واغاماما بحملة "العودة إلى المدرسة" للأطفال في شهر يناير مع الزيارات التعليمية المتواصلة في دبي. تحت إشراف هوشي وربما عدد قليل من البالغين، يمكن لأطفال التعلم عن كيفية إعداد الأطباق اليابانية، وكيفية أخذ الطلبات وإدارة المطاعم. كما يمكن للأطفال أن يأخذوا معهم حقائب الحلويات المتوفرة كجزء من الزيارات المدرسية التي تشمل أوراق عمل ملهمة، ملصقات، سترات الطهي، حقائب بلاستيكية وشهادات حضور.
