announced a newly signed agreement to take immediate effect with AVIAREPS,
whereby the two partners will collaborate to offer travel agents in the
Middle East the possibility to easily compare and book hotels at the
best rates. Mr. Shahjahan SAYED will be in charge of Sales for the
Middle East region.

is an international travel wholesaler and technology provider. The
Gateway 2 Travel booking engine allows travel agents to compare the room
rates of 200,000 accommodations worldwide, and to book directly at the
best net rates. In 2013, a local office was opened in Dubai to deliver
direct service to customers in the Middle East region.
As per the agreement AVIAREPS
will represent Gateway in the Middle East. With their many years of
expertise in the tourism and aviation industry, they form the perfect
partner for Gateway to take care of sales and marketing activities
within the region. With this local representation, customers are
guaranteed a focused and qualitative service.
Mr. Shahjahan Sayed will be the new
Regional Sales Manager for Gateway, GCC and Middle East region. He has
proven skills with extensive working experience in tourism. He started
his Aviation/Travel trade career in Mumbai, India and moved to the
U.A.E. in 2007 to work for MMI Travel, part of the Emirates/Dnata group.
He further built up his sales skills at Malaysian Airlines, Bahrain Air
and more recently Mahan Air as sales manager.
