L’Apogée
Courchevel, Oetker Collection’s second unveiling this year with the
Arab Tourist in mind, promotes cold-weather luxury to Middle Eastern
travelers with a new Ski Resort in the French Alps
December 4 2013,
Dubai UAE – The Oetker Collection, which owns and manages masterpiece
hotels around the world, is pleased to announce its newest property,
L’Apogée Courchevel, located in Le Jardin Alpin. The brand new,
custom-designed property aims to attract vacationers from the Middle
East with privacy, exclusivity, and prestige in the pristine mountain
venue.
L’Apogée Courchevel is
an exclusive venue, set at the top of Le Jardin Alpin in the most
desirable resort in the five villages and featuring just 33 stunning
suites, 20 spacious double rooms and a spectacular penthouse with its
own jacuzzi and private terrace. It offers breathtaking views over
Courchevel village, and is the perfect luxurious mountain get-away to
attract the most discerning Middle Eastern winter travelers.
A private air strip
just 3 minutes from the hotel offers easy access to the resort, and
guests’ privacy and comfort are maintained under the supervision of
Philippe Perd, President and Managing Director of the Hotel du
Cap-Eden-Roc and Chateau Saint-Martin & Spa in the south of France.
An exclusive chalet is featured next to the full resort, with five
bedrooms, a spa and its own home cinema. Guests will travel up the
mountain via a direct and private approach to the ski slopes, offering
immediate and exclusive access.
Frank Marrenbach, CEO
of Oetker Collection, commented on how the collection aims to attract
Middle Eastern travelers to a ski resort, not necessarily a common
destination for the region:
“We are excited to be
opening our first masterpiece hotel in the French Alps, and L’Apogée
Courchevel is going to fit beautifully into what we believe Middle
Eastern tourists are attracted to: exclusivity, privacy, comfort, and
adventure. Our guests understand the excitement that comes from enjoying
a new experience while embracing universal luxuries. That is what we
think makes this property well-suited to Middle Eastern vacationers. The
most discerning among them will value the mountain experience and
stunning views, while we provide them with the comfort and luxury they
expect.”
Iranian architect and
interior designer India Mahdavi, with colleague Joseph Dirand, has
overseen the interior styling of L’Apogée Courchevel, creating a warm,
comfortable masterpiece. L’Apogeé Courchevel’s signature restaurant, Le
Comptoir de L’Apogée is under the mastery of Chef Franck Ferigutti with
beautiful views on the mountains, and the location features a superb spa
and wellness centre with treatment rooms and a swimming pool.
