The Ministry of Economy holds a press conference at the Intercontinental Hotel – Festival City presided over by His Excellency (HE) Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, UAE Minister of Economy and was also attended by HE Khalifa Al Daboos, Deputy CEO of Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD), the investment arm of the Government of Dubai; Fahad Al Gergawi, CEO of Dubai FDI Office in the Dubai’s Department of Economic Development (DED) and Dawood Al Shezawi, CEO of Strategic Marketing and Exhibition, the organizer of the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM), which is being held in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy.
During the press conference, Sultan Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, said that his ministry has completed all arrangements for hosting AIM in Dubai on April 30 until May 2, 2013. The event is held under the patronage of His Highness (HH) Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. The AIM is held under the theme, ‘A Future International Economic Landscape in the making, implications on FDI Growth in Frontier and Emerging Countries.’ The three-day event will be organized at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) and is expected to attract record participation. 84 countries have confirmed their presence, with participants including 33 ministers and 5,000 investors from all over the world.
Minister of Economy Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri said AIM, which is hosted in Dubai under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, is a milestone in the revitalization of foreign direct investments (FDI) around the world, which will reflect positively in the international community facing deep political and economic crises. The AIM is enjoying increasing attention since its launch two years ago due to the ongoing political, economic and financial challenges that affect the flows of FDI.
Sultan Al Mansouri added that the third edition of AIM is focusing this year on the international economy future, implications of FDI and the development prospects of emerging & frontier markets. The AIM agenda will highlight the development prospects of emerging & frontier markets as the global centre of economic gravity is moving gradually eastward.
The third edition of AIM promises to be a rich and unique experience for meeting investors and to study the investment potentials across emerging markets. The event was designed to provide a platform where international investors and relevant parties can meet to discuss innovation and long term investments with other businessmen and decision makers.
The Ministry of Economy has succeeded in boosting UAE openness to international markets, through a number of activities and strategic projects, which helped in opening new channels of cooperation with other strategic countries. This approach is reflected in the UAE investments in these countries. The Ministry also enhanced regional and international relations by hosting joint economic committees with some countries. These meetings focused on discovering investment opportunities and attracting FDI to the UAE, in addition to developing small and medium enterprises and innovation through signing a number of Memorandums of Understanding (MoU’s) and exchange of experiences.
The UAE’s solid economic growth is forecasted to continue in 2013 despite international crisis and slow recovery in the developed nations as a result of the international financial crisis and the crisis in the Euro zone. The trade, logistics and services will lead UAE growth.
HE Al Mansouri noted that the UAE has succeeded in cementing its leading position in the international investment map, as it expands its investments in ports, airports, infrastructure, renewable energy, industry and agriculture locally and internationally. The UAE has achieved remarkable progress in international indexes and reports. According to the World Economic Forum, the UAE has advanced three spots in the Global Competitiveness Report 2012-13, as it ranked the UAE 24th out of 144 countries globally. It is the only Arab country classified as having an innovation-driven economy.
Khalifa Al Daboos, the Deputy CEO at the Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD) said, “our support for AIM 2013, which is held under the royal patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, comes in line with our belief of Dubai’s vital role in the investment community and its ability to attract FDI towards local and regional markets. Dubai is a gateway for foreign companies looking to expand their investments in the region.”
Hosting this event will make Dubai a leader in the activities aimed at achieving recovery in the world economy, given that the FDI flows are very important in this process as the world faces successive financial crisis.
He noted that the ICD is very interested in participating in the AIM to review promising investment projects in the world markets, given its mandate to generate a superior return on investment, in a way that will benefit the regional financial community. We have achieved this through strategic investments in companies that have achieved global excellence and have defined the industrial, retail and financial landscape of Dubai.
Al Daboos added that the new AMF will conduct full revision of the investments and economic environments to highlight new opportunities away from traditional markets as the world economy is moving eastward and new promising markets arise in China, India and Latin America in addition to other frontier and emerging markets.
The AIM will introduce benefits and features of the world's economies and provide a conducive environment for trade openness, investment and adopting new arrangements against bureaucracy and other obstacles.
FDI is attracted to Dubai as it enjoys great level of safety, security and political stability. According to Al Daboos, there are around 200 different nationalities living and working in harmony in the emirate. Moreover, Dubai has become a base for major regional and international companies looking to expand in the region and beyond.
The Deputy CEO of ICD noted that the timing of this event is very important to rally support for UAE’s bid to host Expo 2020 in Dubai. If Dubai wins the bid, this would offer new great channels of investments as 25 million visitors are expected to visit the event, which will run for six months.
He invited governments, investors and other participants to benefit from the three-day event and its activities including the field visits, workshop, bilateral meeting. The UAE investment day also is very important to introduce the country to hundreds of participating investors in light of its lively economic landscape.

The Expo ambassadors would interact with AIM participants and visitors to provide them with the needed information about Dubai, which qualifies it to be the winning city as it is considered a hub for trade, finance, service and logistics regionally and internationally. عقدت وزارة الاقتصاد مؤتمراً صحفياً في فندق الانتركونتيننتال ترأسه معالي سلطان بن سعيد المنصوري وزير الاقتصاد، وسعادة خليفة الدبوس نائب الرئيس التنفيذي لمؤسسة دبي للاستثمارات الحكومية الذراع الاستثماري لحكومة دبي، وفهد القرقاوي الرئيس التنفيذي لمكتب دبي لللإستثمار، و داوود الشيزاوي، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة “الاستراتيجي" الشركة المنظمة لملتقى الاستثمار السنوي بالتعاون مع وزارة الاقتصاد ، أعلنت خلاله بدء العد التنازلي لانطلاق "ملتقى الاستثمار السنوي" والذي يحظى برعاية كريمة من صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي، رعاه الله، حيث ينطلق في دورته الثالثة هذا العام تحت عنوان " المشهد المستقبلي للاقتصاد العالمي، وآثاره على الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر والتوقعات الاقتصادية للأسواق الحدودية والناشئة". وتستمر أعمال الملتقى من 30 إبريل وحتى 2 مايو 2013 في مركز دبي الدولي للمؤتمرات والمعارض، في ظل توقعات بأن يحظى ملتقى الاستثمار السنوي في دورته الثالثة هذا العام بمشاركة قياسية من العالم مع تأكيدات 84 دولة و33 وزيرا و5 آلاف مستثمر حتى الآن من مختلف بلدان العالم على المشاركة في أعمال الملتقى والذي يكتسب سنويا أهمية دولية متزايدة .
وخلال المؤتمر قال معالي وزير الاقتصاد سلطان المنصوري: "يشكل ملتقى الاستثمار السنوي الذي سينطلق برعاية كريمة من صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي، رعاه الله، فرصة سانحة للقاء المستثمرين ودراسة إمكانيات وفرص الاستثمار القائمة في الأسواق الناشئة.كما أنه صُمِم كمنصة فريدة من نوعها يلتقي فيها المستثمرون الدوليون المهتمون بالمشاريع المبتكرة القابلة للإنشاء والاستثمارات طويلة المدى مع رجال الأعمال وصانعي القرار الرئيسيين في الكثير من بلدان العالم."
وأضاف المنصوري: "لقد حظي هذا الملتقى منذ انطلاقته قبل نحو عامين باهتمام إقليمي ودولي بارز انعكس هذا العام في حجم المشاركة الهائلة من العالم في أعمال دورته الثالثة حيث أكدت حتى الآن 84 دولة مشاركتها، فضلاً عن مشاركة نحو 5 آلاف مستثمر من مختلف بلدان ومناطق العالم، مما يؤكد على أن هذا الملتقى بات اليوم حدثا عالميا بكل المقاييس ووجهة جاذبة للمستثمرين من مختلف أنحاء العالم من القطاعين العام والخاص. وأضاف لقد حرصنا كل الحرص على أن يرقى ملتقى الاستثمار السنوي هذا العام في استعداداته وتحضيراته لحجم المشاركة الضخمة من العالم فيه من وزراء وخبراء وصناع قرار وشركات إقليمية وعالمية وبنوك عالمية ومستثمرين ، وبالتالي وقع الاختيار على مركز دبي الدولي للمؤتمرات والمعارض لاحتضان أعمال الملتقى لما يتمتع به المركز من خبرة طويلة ومتميزة في احتضان المؤتمرات والمعارض الدولية."
وأشار وزير الاقتصاد الإماراتي إلى أن الملتقى سيوفر فرصة للدول المشاركة لعرض مشاريعها القائمة والمستقبلية وفرص الاستثمار القائمة في تلك المشاريع في مختلف القطاعات على مستوى القطاعين العام والخاص . وسيتضمن الملتقى عروضا اقتصادية للبلدان المشاركة في الحدث ، تتيح لنحو 30 دولة تقديم شروحات كاملة عن أداء اقتصاداتها والفرص الاستثمارية المتاحة في قطاعاتها إلى جانب التعريف بالسياسات الاستثمارية لتك الدول فيما يتعلق بالقوانين والتشريعات وإمكانية التملك وانتقال رؤوس الأموال ..إلخ ، وسيتاح لتلك الدول استعراض سياساتها التحفيزية في جذب الاستثمارات الأجنبية إلى أراضيها .وستطرح من خلال الملتقى مشاريع استثمارية من العالم يقدر إجماليها بنحو 50 مليار دولار تتوزع ما بين مشاريع مرتبطة بالنفط والغاز والطاقة المتجددة والبنية التحتية واللوجستية والتعدين والبتروكيماويات والصناعة والزراعة ، إلى جانب التركيز على كيفية تعزيز التجارة الخارجية لـ 84 دولة مع دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، وخاصة أن التجارة تعتبر أحد محركات النمو الأساسية لاقتصاد الامارات إلى جانب السياحة والخدمات اللوجستية .
وحول أجندة المؤتمر، قال الوزير لقد جرى تخصيص نصف يوم من أعمال الملتقى والذي يمتد لثلاثة أيام للتعريف بفرص الاستثمار المتاحة في أسواق الإمارات وهي فرص ثمينة نتوقع أن يتسابق المستثمرون لاغتنامها ، وأيضا هناك فرص كبيرة للتعاون والشراكة مع البلدان المشاركة في الملتقى فيما يتعلق بالاقتصاد الإسلامي، وخاصة بعد إعلان صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي ، رعاه الله دبي عاصمة للاقتصاد الإسلامي مما يعزز فرص التمويل الإسلامي وسوق الأغذية الحلال والمنتجات الإسلامية.
وأوضح معالي سلطان المنصوري أن من أبرز الفعاليات التي سيشهدها ملتقى الاستثمار السنوي هذا العام هو انعقاد مؤتمر ملتقى الاستثمار السنوي والذي سيضم أكثر من 75 متحدثا وخبيرا دوليا لمناقشة القضايا المتعلقة بالاستثمار والتحديات القائمة التي تواجهها تدفقات الاستثمارات الأجنبية المباشرة ، ويُنظرللمؤتمر باعتباره واحداً من المؤتمرات المرتقبة حيث تدور فعّالياته حول الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر والمستهدف للأسواق الحدودية والناشئة، وكذلك الأقاليم التي تمتاز بمعدل نمو اقتصادي مرتفع، وبالتالي سيفتح هذا المؤتمر المجال لنقاشات رفيعة المستوى وطرح رؤى ذات دراية كاملة بالتوجهات العالمية في مجال الاستثمار مع التركيز على الفرص المتاحة في الأسواق الخاصة والمناطق المختلفة مثل الإمارات العربية المتحدة، إفريقيا وآسيا.
كما أكد معالي وزير الاقتصاد إن دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة أصبحت الرقم الصعب في المحافل الدولية في ظل إحرازها لتقدم تلو الآخر على مؤشرات المنظمات الدولية ووكالات التقييم الائتماني حيث قفزت دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة ثلاث مراتب في مجال التنافسية لتحتل المركز الـ24 عالمياً وفقاً لتقرير المنتدى الاقتصادي العالمي، من بين 144 دولة، فيما حافظت على مكانتها كالدولة العربية الوحيدة ضمن قائمة الاقتصادات المعتمدة على الإبداع والابتكار، للعام السابع على التوالي ، فيما وصف المنتدى الاقتصادي العالمي في تقرير التنافسية 2012-2013 اقتصاد دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة بـ الاقتصاد القائم على الابتكار. وتواصلاً لتلك الجهود والنجاحات فإننا نتوقع أن يواصل اقتصاد الدولة نموه وبقوة خلال العام الحالي 2013 ما بين 4-5 % على الرغم من الأزمات التي تواجه الاقتصاد العالمي وخاصة تباطـؤ تعافي الاقتصاديات المتقدمة من الأزمة المالية العالمية والأزمة المالية بمنطقة اليورو.
من جانبه قال السيد خليفة الدبوس، نائب الرئيس التنفيذي في مؤسسة دبي للاستثمارات الحكومية:"إن دعمنا لملتقى الاستثمار السنوي 2013 والذي يحظى برعاية كريمة من صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي، رعاه الله، ينبع من إيماننا العميق بالدور المهم والحيوي والمتنامي الذي تلعبه دبي على خارطة الاستثمارات العالمية وفي جذبها للاستثمارات الأجنبية المباشرة ليس فقط لأسواق دبي والدولة، وإنما أيضا لأسواق المنطقة حيث أصبحت دبي اليوم منصة مهمة جداً، والضامن لنجاح توسعات الشركات الأجنبية بأنشطتها التجارية والاستثمارية إلى أسواق المنطقة والعالم انطلاقا من دبي .
إن احتضان دبي لملتقى الاستثمار السنوي والذي سيجمع في دورته الثالثة هذا العام مشاركة أكثر من 84 دولة ونحو 5 آلاف مستثمر من العالم من أجل تنشيط الاستثمارات في مناطق العالم، تجعل من دبي لاعباًمهماً في جهود تَعافي الاقتصاد العالمي، وخاصة أن الاستثمارات الأجنبية المباشرة تعتبر المحرك الأساسي لتعافي الاقتصاد العالمي من أزماته المالية المتلاحقة ".
وأكد السيد خليفة الدبوس على الأهمية الكبيرة التي توليها مؤسسة دبي للاستثمارات الحكومية، الذراع الاستثماري لحكومة دبي، لملتقى الاستثمار السنوي والذي سيساهم -على حد قوله- في تعريف المؤسسة بفرص الاستثمار الواعدة في أسواق جديدة من العالم، وخاصة أن مهمة مؤسسة دبي للاستثمارات الحكومية هي تحقيق أعلى عائد على الاستثمارات بصورة تعود بالنفع على المجتمع المالي الإقليمي، منوهاً إلى أن المؤسسة نجحت بذلك بالفعل عن طريق الاستثمارات الاستراتيجية في الشركات التي حققت تميزاً عالمياً ورسمت الخارطة الصناعية والتجارية والمالية في دبي .
إن ملتقى الاستثمار السنوي في دورته الثالثة سيجري مراجعة شاملة لوضعية وبيئة الاستثمار في مناطق العالم وسيسلط الضوء على فرص الاستثمار في أسواق جديدة من العالم بعيداً عن الأسواق التقليدية وخاصة في ظل تحول ثقل الاقتصاد العالمي من الغرب شرقاً، وبروز اقتصاديات واعدة مثل الصين والهند ودول أمريكا اللاتينية، حيث لم تعد فرص الاستثمار حكراً على الأسواق الأمريكية والغربية في ظل تحولات أساسية يشهدها العالم اليوم، تبرز معها فرص واعدة في الأسواق المبتدئة والناشئة .
إن ملتقى الاستثمار السنوي سيحرص على التعريف بالفوائد التي يمكن لاقتصاديات العالم جنيها عند انتهاجها للانفتاح التجاري وتوفيرها بيئة محفزة للاستثمار ودخولها في اتفاقيات تجارية ومعاهدات مزدوجة تكسر أغلال البيروقراطية وتقضي على المعوقات التي قد تحيل من جذب الاستثمارات الأجنبية . وشبه السيد خليفة الدبوس الاستثمارات الأجنبية بالطيور المهاجرة التي تذهب حيث الأمن والأمان، قائلا إن دبي تُعدّ نموذجاً ناجحاً وحياً على أن الاستثمارات تذهب حيث الأمن والأمان،وحيث الاستقرار السياسي والأمني، مشيرا إلى أن دبي تحتضن اليوم أكثر من 200 جنسية مختلفة من العالم تعيش وتعمل بسلام، فيما اختارت كبرى الشركات الإقليمية والعالمية دبي لتنطلق منها وتتوسع بأنشطتها التجارية والاستثمارية لأسواق المنطقة والعالم، مما جعل دبي منصة تضمن نجاح الشركات الباحثة عن التوسع وتحقيق عوائد مجزية في أسواق العالم.
تكمن أهمية توقيت انعقاد ملتقى الاستثمار السنوي في دبي لكسب أكبر عدد ممكن من الأصوات الداعمة للإمارات في سباقها نحواحتضان إكسبو 2020 مضيفاً بأن الملتقى سيتيح لـ 84 دولة و5 آلاف مستثمر أن يروا بأعينهم إنجازات دبي ومايمكن لدبي تقديمه لإكسبو إذا ما فازت في السباق المحموم، وكيف ستفتح أبواب الاستثمار على مصراعيها أمام المستثمرين في العالم مع التوقعات بتدفق 25 مليون زائر إلى حدث إكسبو في فترة الستة أشهر وهي فترة استضافة إكسبو بحسب الدبوس.
وقد دعى نائب الرئيس التنفيذي في مؤسسة دبي للاستثمارات الحكومية المشاركين في هذا الملتقى من حكومات ومستثمرين من العالم للاستفادة من الفعاليات المهمة التي سيحتضنها الملتقى خلال فترة انعقاده الممتدة لثلاثة أيام والتي تصل إلى ست فعاليات مابين زيارات ميدانية وورش عمل واجتماعات ثنائية، مؤكدا على أن الملتقى خصص يوماً كاملاً للتعريف بفرص الاستثمار المتاحة في أسواق الإمارات في شتى القطاعات، داعياً المستثمرين في العالم لاغتنام تلك الفرص في ظل تجدد النشاط الاقتصادي لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة في وقت تعتصر فيه الأزمات العالمية اقتصاديات متقدمة في العالم.
من جانبه قال فهد القرقاوي المدير التنفيذي لمكتب الاستثمار الأجنبي في دائرة التنمية الاقتصادية في دبي أن دبي أصبحت اليوم الوجهة المفضلة للمستثمرين والشركات الإقليمية والعالمية للتوسع بأعمالها في أسواق المنطقة وأسواق آسيا وافريقيا .
واضاف القرقاوي أن دبي استقطبت 165 شركة جديدة في العام 2012، بينما بلغ تعداد الشركات التي تدفقت على دبي 77 شركة في عام 2011 ، متوقعا في ظل تجدد النشاط الاقتصادي في قلب دبي وزيادة فرص الاستثمار الواعدة في مختلف قطاعاتها تدفق المزيد من الاستثمارات و الشركات الجديدة إليها وخاصة في ظل الاضطرابات السياسية والأمنية التي تشهدها عدد من بلدان الربيع العربي وفي ظل أزمات مالية تعصف اليوم بالاقتصاديات الغربية ، في وقت تنعم في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة بالاستقرار السياسي والأمني وتشهد نموا اقتصاديا سريعا .
وقال أن ملتقى الاستثمار السنوي الذي ستحتضنه دبي هذا العام برعاية كريمة من صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي، رعاه الله سيضيف ثقلا لمكانة دبي على خارطة الاقتصاد العالمية ويسهم في تدفق مزيد من الاستمارات لأسواقها، كما سيسهم في إعطاء صورة حقيقية عن واقع الاستثمار في مناطق العالم وبالتالي سيقدم صورة واضحة للمستثمرين عن أهم مواطن وفرص الاستثمار المجزية في العالم ، وبالتالي سيكون الملتقى بمثابة بوصلة للمستثمرين من مختلف مناطق العالم .
وأكد فهد القرقاوي على أن جذب الاستثمارات الأجنبية لإمارة دبي يعد أولوية لحكومة دبي ضمن سلسلة من الأولويات الداعمة لرؤيتها على المدى البعيد لمستقبل إقصاد إمارة دبي وجعلها من أهم المراكز التنافسية للأعمال في العالم بحلول عام 2015 .
وقال القرقاوي أن مكتب الاستثمار الأجنبي و دائرة التنمية الاقتصادية تتبع نهج حكومة دبي وتعمل جاهدة على ترجمة رؤية صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي ، رعاه الله في جعل دبي الأولى والحفاظ على ما حققته من إنجازات خلال السنوات الماضية .
وأضاف بأن القيادة الحكيمة ستستمر في تطوير القوانين والتشريعات التجارية والاستثمارية لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة بما يتوافق مع أفضل الأنظمة والمعايير الدولية من أجل تعزيز أكبر لبيئتها الاستثماريةوجذب مزيد من الاستثمارات الإقليمية والعالمية إلي أراضيها . وبحسب القرقاوي فإن تقارير المنظمات الدولية تشيد باستمرار جاذبية إمارة دبي كوجهة مثالية لنمو الأعمال التجارية والإقليمية والعالمية وبتقدمها الكبير على مؤشرات ممارسة الأعمال والتنافسية مما يعكس الثقة المتزايدة عالميا باقتصاد إمارة دبي والفرص المجزية المتاحة في قطاعاتها الحيوية .
ويرى فهد القرقاوي بأن جذب ملتقى الاستثمار السنوي حتى الأن لـ 84 دولة ونحو5 آلاف مستثمر من مختلف مناطق العالم يؤكد على النظرة الإيجابية التي يوليها المستثمرين من العالم لإمارة دبي وثقتهم الكبيرة باقتصاد دبي وباقتصاد دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة بشكل عام وقدرته على الاستمرار في تحقيق النمو وفي توفير بيئة جاذبة للأعمال والاستثمارات من مختلف بقاع الأرض .
وأضاف بأن ملتقى الاستثمار السنوي يشكل منبرا مهما للترويج للإمارات في سباقها نحو إكسبو 2020 حيث سيتيح الملتقى للمشاركين فيه من شتى بقاع العالم الاطلاع بأنفسهم على إنجازات دبي ومايمكن أن تقدمه لإكسبو ولزوار إكسبو إذا ما فازت باحتضان الحدث الضخم .
ودعا المشاركين في أعمال الملتقى إلي اغتنام فرص الاستثمار المجزية في أسوق الدولة في شتى القطاعات، وإلي التفاعل مع الفعاليات والمعارض والاجتماعات التي سيتضمنها الحدث ، قائلا بأن الزيارات الميدانية التي ستنظم على هامش الملتقى ستتيح لبلدان العالم فرص الاطلاع على تجارب إمارة دبي الناجحة في شتى القطاعات وبالتالي الاستفادة من خبرات إمارة دبي واستنساخ تلك التجارب في بلدانهم .
وتوقع فهد القرقاوي المدير التنفيذي لمكتب الاستثمار الأجنبي بأن يحظى ملتقى الاستثمار السنوي في دورته الثالثة هذا العام باهتمام إعلامي غير مسبوق وخاصة في ظل مشاركة كم هائل من دول العالم وكبرى المنظمات الاقتصادية الدولية وخاصة أن الملتقى اختار "المشهد المستقبلي للاقتصاد العالمي وآثاره على الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر والتوقعات الاقتصادية للأسواق الحدودية والناشئة " شعارا له هذا العام في ظل تحولات كبيرة وجذرية في مصدر وتوجهات الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر .
أما داوود الشيزاوي، الرئيس التنفيذي للشركة المنظمة للملتقى فقال أنهم بصدد وضع اللمسات النهائية استعدادا لإطلاق "ملتقى الاستثمار السنوي" في دورته الثالثة تحت عنوان " المشهد المستقبلي للاقتصاد العالمي ، وآثاره على الاستثمار الأجنبي المباشر والتوقعات الاقتصادية للأسواق الحدودية والناشئة " والذي تنظمه وزارة الاقتصاد بالتعاون مع شركة الاستراتيجي برعاية كريمة من صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي ، رعاه الله.
وأشار الشيزاوي بأنه قد تم إضافة ميزات للملتقى هذا العام تتمثل في اجتماع ثلاثي الأطراف على أعلى مستوى تحضره الأطراف المعنية المنتمية إلي منظومة الاستثمار والتجارة الدولية على غرار كبار صناع القرار ورؤساء الأعمال التنفيذيين وممثلي الوكالات المتعددة الأطراف وخبراء ينتمون لمؤسسات أكاديمية . كما ستتاح فرصة للبلدان المشاركة في الملتقى تقديم عروض عن فرص الاستثمار المتاحة في أراضيها من خلال معرض استثماري من الدرجة الأولى على مساحة تفوق 8000متر مربع إلي جانب تقديم عروض اقتصادية من خلال جلسات عامة يتم إدراجها في برنامج المؤتمر إضافة لاجتماعات العمليات التجارية واجتماعات الأعمال والحكومات . كما خصص يوم كامل للترويج لفرص الاستثمار المتاحة في اسواق الإمارات عبر ملتقى الاستثمار الإماراتي وهو من الترتيبات الجديدة التي تم إدخالها على الملتقى في دورته الثالثة وللمرة الأولى ، كما خصص حفل عشاء وحفل توزيع جوائز الاستثمار في ملتقى الاستثمار في دروته الثالثة وللمرة الأولى .
وقال الشيزاوي أن أجندة الملتقى تتضمن حفل الافتتاح ، وانعقاد مؤتمر ملتقى الاستثمار ، و معرض ملتقى الاستثمار السنوي ، والاجتماع الثلاثي رفيع المستوى ، إلي جانب عروض تقديمية من الدول المشاركة في الملتقى ، واجتماعات كبار رجال الأعمال كما ستتضمن أجندة الملتقى تنظيم حفل عشاء وحفل لتوزيع جوائز الاستثمار، وورش عمل لتعزيز
القدرات، وزيارات ميدانية لضيوف الملتقى ، وسيتم تخصيص يوم للإمارات تحت عنوان ملتقى الاستثمار الإماراتي ، وملتقى الاستثمار والتعاون الصيني ، إلي جانب معرض العقارات الدولي ، ومؤتمر الاستدامة العقارية ، إلي جانب منصة الترويج لإكسبو 2020 في الإمارات .
وتوقع الشيزاوي أن يشهد ملتقى الاستثمار السنوي في دورته الثالثة أكبر مشاركة من نوعها في الحدث منذ انطلاقته منذ نحو عامين مع تأكيد 84 دولة حتى الآن مشاركتها في الملتقى مع أن هذا الرقم لا يزال مرشح للنمو في ظل اهتمام دولي غير مسبوق بالحدث وفي ظل مشاركة نحو 5 آلاف مستثمر من مختلف بلدان ومناطق العالم في أعمال الملتقى فيما أعينهم جميعا تتجه نحو دبي وجهة و بوصلة المستثمرين في العالم اليوم .
وأكد الشيزاوي على وجود اهتمام متزايد وغير مسبوق من قبل وسائل الإعلام المحلية و الإقليمية والعالمية لتغطية فعاليات الملتقى في ظل اهتمام كبير بالقضايا التي سيطرحها الملتقى هذا العام والتي سترصد واقع ومستقبل الاستثمارات الأجنبية المباشرة وتسليط الضوء على التحديات التي تواجهها من خلال مناقشات ثرية للوزراء و الخبراء وصناع القرار وكبرى المنظمات الدولية وما سيخرج عن الملتقى من توصيات بهذا الشأن .
وقال الشيزاوي أن ملتقى الاستثمار السنوي أخذ على عاتقه الترويج وبقوة للإمارات في سباقها نحو إكسبو2020 وخاصة مع قرب اختيار الدول الفائزة باستضافة الحدث، حيث تتنافس خمس مدن على استضافة إكسبو 2020 من بينها دبي ، حيث تم توفير منصة خاصة بإكسبو ستكون في طبيعتها تفاعلية تروج للإمارات عبر" سفراء إكسبو" وهم ثمانية من المبدعين الشباب اختارهم شخصيا ومنحهم صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي، رعاه الله لقب "سفراء إكسبو"، من أجل دعم ملف دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة الخاص باستضافة "معرض إكسبو الدولي 2020" في دبي ضمن الحملة الوطنية التي أُطلقت تحت شعار "كن جزءاً من الحدث" بهدف حشد تأييد داخلي وخارجي واسع النطاق لترجيح فرص الدولة في الفوز باستقطاب الحدث الأكبر من نوعه في تاريخ المعارض العالمية.، حيث سيتحدث " سفراء إكسبو " للمشاركين وزوار الملتقى ويقدمون معلومات وافرة للزائرين عن المقومات التي تمتلكها دبي وتؤهلها لاستضافة أكسبو 2020 خاصة أنها اليوم مركز تجاري ومالي وخدماتي ولوجستي متميز على الصعيدين الإقليمي والعالمي ، وأيضا ما يمكن أن تجنيه الشركات والمستثمرين من فرص مجزية إذا ما فازت دبي باحتضان معرض إكسبو الدولي حيث التصويت في نوفمبر المقبل من هذا العام.
وقال الشيزاوي بأن ملتقى الاستثمار السنوي في دورته الثالثة سيسلط من خلال مناقشاته والتي ستضم عدد كبيرا من الوزراء والخبراء الدوليين وكبرى المنظمات الدولية الضوء على وضعية الاستثمار في العالمي إلي جانب رصد توجهات الاستثمار الراهنة والمستقبلية والتعريف ببيئات الاستثمار في بلدان العالم وطبيعة الأنظمة والتشريعات ومستوى التحفيز الذي تقدمه الدول للمستثمرين الأجانب إلي جانب رصد أهم التحديات التي تواجه مستقبل الاستثمار في العالم .
واضاف الشيزاوي بأن الملتقى سيحرص على رصد ردود أفعال السياسية المنتهجة للدفع بالعجلة الاقتصادية والحث على الاستثمار والتجارة . وسيسلط الضوء على آخر التوجهات فيما يتعلق بالأنظمة الضريبية والتنظيمية والتي يمكن الحكم عليها بالنجاح وكذلك استعراض سياسات الحوافز الناجحة واستراتيجيات دعم الاستثمار التي من شأنها أن تعود بنتائج ملموسة .
ويؤكد الشيزاوي على أن ملتقى الاستثمار في دورته الثانية في عام 2012 أثبت أنه أرضية خصبة ومثمرة بالنسبة لشركات الأعمال الحديثة المنشأ والتحالفات الاستراتيجية والشركات الجديدة . واليوم يعتبر الملتقى حدثا دوليا راسخا يقام بشكل يتناسب مع تلبية احتياجات الاقتصاديات الصاعدة التي تشهد نمو سريعا .
