Fujairah,April 2013 – with over 50 employees and management, Iberotel Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort organized their annual blood donation campaign. The drive donated the gift of life to fellow citizens whose lives are in danger and need urgent blood transfusion for trauma, accidents, organ transplants, heart surgery, leukaemia, cancer, thalassemia, and all other types of life saving surgeries.
“Adding to our long portfolio of community initiatives made every year, we are always keen to play a vital role in social activities that contribute to serving society, and assisting with blood donations is just one.” said Ashraf Helmy, General Manager of Iberotel Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort.
Running for the 4th year in a row, Iberotel Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort has collected over 200 blood bags over the years with the Dibba hospital & Sharjah blood bank. This event encourages employees’ participation, showing their understanding and shared belief in the company's values and its role in the community, through finding ways to meet the needs of the society.
