البنك العربي يفتتح فرعه الأربعين في مصر

افتتح البنك العربي مؤخراً فرعاً جديداً في منطقة روكسي،27 شارع الخليفة المأمون، مصر الجديدة، ليرتفع بذلك عدد فروع البنك في مصر إلى 40 فرعاً منتشرة في مختلف المحافظات والمدن.

Companies in Egypt Should Select the Right SSL Traffic Inspection Tools to Beat Enterprise Network Blind Spots and Prevent Cyber Attacks

Encrypted traffic accounts for a large and growing percentage of all network traffic. While the adoption of SSL, and its successor, Transport Layer Security (TLS), should be cause for celebration – as encryption improves confidentiality and message integrity – it also puts organizations at risk. This is because hackers can leverage encryption to conceal their exploits from security devices that do not inspect SSL traffic.

According to a Gartner survey, “less than 20% of organizations with a firewall, an intrusion prevention system (IPS) or a unified threat management (UTM) appliance decrypt inbound or outbound SSL traffic.”[1] This means that hackers can evade over 80% of companies’ network defenses simply by tunneling attacks in encrypted traffic.

To prevent cyber-attacks, enterprises in Egypt need to inspect all traffic, and in particular encrypted traffic, for advanced threats. To do this, they need a dedicated security platform that can decrypt inbound and outbound SSL traffic. This can be complex though as SSL inspection potentially touches so many different security products – from firewalls and intrusion prevent systems (IPS) to data loss prevention (DLP), forensics, advanced threat prevention and more. To help with the process, here are the main features that all SSL inspection platforms should provide.

Meet Current and Future SSL Performance Demands

Performance is perhaps the most important evaluation criteria for SSL inspection platforms. Organizations must assess their current Internet bandwidth requirements and ensure that their SSL inspection platform can handle future SSL throughput requirements.

While doing so, IT teams must analyze appliance performance with essential security and networking features enabled. This is important as testing SSL decryption speeds without considering the impact of deep packet inspection (DPI), URL classification or other features will not provide a clear picture of real-world performance.

Satisfy Compliance Requirements

Privacy and regulatory concerns have emerged as one of the top hurdles preventing organizations from inspecting SSL traffic. IT security teams must walk a thin line between protecting employees and intellectual property, and violating employees’ privacy rights.

To address regulatory requirements like HIPAA, Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), an SSL inspection platform should be able to bypass sensitive traffic, like traffic to banking and healthcare sites. By bypassing sensitive traffic, IT security teams can rest easy knowing that confidential banking or healthcare records will not be sent to security devices or stored in log management systems.

The SSL inspection solution must be able to categorize web traffic using an automated URL classification service and also support manually-defined URL bypass lists. To drive transparency and employee confidence, IT teams should also be able to display customizable messages to users informing them that encrypted traffic may be monitored for cyber threats and unauthorized activity.

Maximize the Uptime and the Overall Capacity of Security Infrastructure

Most firewalls today can granularly control access to applications and detect intrusions and malware. Unfortunately, analyzing network traffic for network-borne threats is a resource-intensive task. While firewalls have increased their capacity over time, they often cannot keep up with network demand, especially when multiple security features like IPS, URL filtering and virus inspection are enabled.

Therefore, SSL inspection platforms should not just offload SSL processing from security devices. They should also maximize the uptime and performance of these devices. When evaluating SSL inspection platforms, organizations should look for platforms that can scale security deployments with load balancing; detect and route around failed security devices; provide better value by supporting N+1 redundancy rather than just 1+1 redundancy; and support advanced health monitoring to rapidly identify network or application errors.

Securely Manage SSL Certificates and Keys

Whether providing visibility to outbound or inbound SSL traffic, SSL inspection devices must securely manage SSL certificates and keys. SSL certificates and keys form the basis of trust for encrypted communications. If they are compromised, attackers can use them to impersonate legitimate sites and steal data.

To ensure that certificates are stored and administered securely, organizations should look for SSL inspection platforms that provide device-level controls to protect SSL keys and certificates. The solution should integrate with third-party SSL certificate management solutions to discover, catalog, track and centrally control certificates. It is also necessary for it to support FIPS 140-2 Level 2 and Level 3 certified equipment and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) that can detect physical tampering and can safeguard cryptographic key.

With SSL accounting for nearly a third of enterprise traffic and with more applications supporting 2048-bit and 4096-bit SSL keys, organizations can no longer avoid the cryptographic elephant in the room. If they wish to prevent devastating data breaches, they must gain insight into SSL traffic. By following the above mentioned guidelines, organizations can make well-informed decisions and avoid the deployment pitfalls that SSL inspection can potentially expose.

Under the Patronage of H.H. Sheikha Wafa Hasher Al Maktoum, FN Designs Gallery to Host ‘Byahe’

As part of Dubai Design Week, under the kind patronage of H.H. Sheikha Wafa Hasher Al Maktoum, Dubai based Design studio Ape Creative will be organizing a typography exploration named Byahe at the FN Designs Gallery later this month. The debut show that aims to bring back the spotlight on the art of signage, will be held from 24th to 29th October, 2016.

In this exhibition, with the elements of typography and design on signage, the artists Mary Hechanova and Jude Valderrama, will examine how people connect through their stories, their travels and experiences.  

Talking about the upcoming exhibition, H.H. Sheikha Wafa Hasher Al Maktoum said, “Art is beyond the factors of age and time. The ways of creation might change with time but the meaning and the message remains the same. Byahe is about the tradition of art of signage which has been a part of our societies long before digital technology overshadowed most of our life space”.

The Filipino word for “travel” or “trip”, “Byahe”, the exhibit, specifically draws inspiration from the hand-painted signage found mostly in side streets and on public transportation in the Philippines, such as the iconic Jeepney.

“Byahe - An Expedition in Type, will bring alive the craft of sign painters that dominated the streets back then. The show is bound to let you peep into the history and let you explore certain connections with different cultures across the world. We are sure people will enjoy this unique exhibition”, added H.H. Sheikha Wafa Hasher Al Maktoum.

‘Byahe’ aims to detach visitors from the world of the fast-paced instant consumption of digital technology and reconnect them back to an authenticity rooted in history, in heritage and in a sense of place.  The show also hopes to bring a fresh perspective to the Philippine culture through its art and design while finding a connection with other cultures from around the world.

Rollan Rodriguez, founder and creative director of Ape Creative, said, “The core inspiration for Byahe arose out of our interest in hand-painted signage and the traditional art of lettering. We wanted to explore this dying art and its connection to our own personal histories  - a  lot of us here in Dubai came from somewhere, and a lot of us are also moving about from place to place”.

“We wanted to take out these unique elements from our own backyard and see how these signs would speak to people from different parts of the world, from different backgrounds and point of view”, added Rodriguez.

A short documentary by Dubai-based film-maker Kamil Roxas will also be shown at the exhibit. The film is expected to take a peek at the artists creative process as well as highlight responses from some “travellers” who were given signage that refer to their journey to and from their hometown to the UAE.

تحت رعاية كريمة من سمو الشيخة وفاء حشر آل مكتوم و كجزء من أسبوع دبي للتصميم ، يقيم استوديو التصميم أيب كرياتيف الذي يتخذ من دبي مقراً له معرضاً للتايبوجرافي تحت اسم بياهي في جاليري إف إن ديزاين في وقت لاحق من هذا الشهر. المعرض الذي يهدف لاعادة تسليط الضوء على فن اللافتات، سيقام في الفترة من 24 إلى 29 أكتوبر2016.

في هذا المعرض سيقوم الفنانين ماري هيكانوفا و جود فالديراما بدراسة كيفية ارتباط الناس من خلال قصصهم و أسفارهم وتجاربهم، من خلال عناصر التايبوجرافي والتصميم على اللافتات.

متحدثةً عن المعرض القادم قالت سمو الشيخة وفاء حشر آل مكتوم، "الفن يتجاوزعوامل العمر والزمن. قد تتغير طرق إنشائه و التعبير عنه مع الزمن، ولكن تبقى الرسالة و المعاني نفسها. بياهي يعكس تقليد فن اللافتات التي كانت جزءا من مجتمعاتنا لفترة طويلة قبل أن تطغى التكنولوجيا الرقمية على حياتنا ".

بياهي هي الكلمة الفلبينية للسفر أو الرحلة، يأخذ  المعرض إلهامه تحديداً من لافتات مرسومة باليد، وتتواجدت غالباً في الشوارع الجانبية، وعلى وسائل النقل العام في الفلبين، مثل الجيبني المتميز هناك.

وأضافت سمو الشيخة وفاء حشر آل مكتوم " يمثل معرض بياهي رحلة استكشافية تعيد الحياة إلى حرفة رسم اللافتات التي سيطرت على الشوارع في الماضي. يأخذك المعرض للماضي و يمكنك من استكشاف بعض طرق التواصل مع مختلف الثقافات حول العالم. نحن على يقين بأن الناس سوف يستمتعون بهذا المعرض الفريد من نوعه ".

ويهدف " بياهي " إلى فصل الزوار عن العالم الرقمي سريع الوتيرة و  اعادتهم الى الأصالة المتجذرة في التاريخ، في التراث وفي الإحساس بالمكان. ويأمل المعرض أيضا أن يقدم منظوراً جديداً للثقافة الفلبينية من خلال الفن والتصميم، و العثور على صلات مع الثقافات الأخرى من جميع أنحاء العالم.

وقال رولان رودريجيز، المؤسس والمدير الإبداعي لأيب كرياتيف ، "الإلهام الأساسي لبياهي نشأ من اهتمامنا باللافتات المرسومة باليد والفن التقليدي للحروف. أردنا استكشاف هذا الفن الذي اوشك على الإنقراض علاقته بتاريخنا الشخصي - الكثير منا هنا في دبي جاء من مكان ما، والكثير منا يتجه أيضاً من مكان إلى آخر ".

وأضاف رودريجيز "أردنا أن نأخذ هذه العناصر الفريدة من ساحتنا الخلفية، ونرى كيف يمكن لهذه اللافتات أن تتحدث إلى أشخاص من مختلف أنحاء العالم يحملون خلفيات تقافية متعددة و وجهات نظر مختلفة".

سيتم عرض فيلم وثائقي قصير من المخرج كامل روكساس في المعرض. ومن المتوقع أن يلقي الفيلم نظرة خاطفة على العملية الإبداعية للفنانين وكذلك تسليط الضوء على ردة فعل بعض المسافرين الذين منحوا لافتات تشير إلى رحلتهم من مسقط رأسهم إلى دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة الفيلم.

The new Novak Djokovic Limited Edition has a unique design that reflects both Novak’s taste and the uniqueness of the new Astron caliber. The dial is a dark shade of mother-of-pearl, which, in combination with the black crocodile leather strap and the rosegold color case, gives the watch a powerful yet refined appeal, combining both elegance and sport.

Each watch in this limited edition carries Novak’s signature on the case back and is accompanied by a card carrying a personal message from Novak. Every watch has its own individual serial number and is offered in a special presentation box. Just 3,500 will ever be made. توصلت سيكو للساعات إلى حل متميز لأفضل لاعبي التنس في العالم وهو  آسترون جي بي إس سولار ورلد تايم المصممة خصيصا لعبقري الملاعب الصربي والتي تسهل السفر عبر القارات على لاعب التنس المميز الذي يجوب العالم. تتوفر هذه الساعة في إصدار محدود لدى مجموعة معينة من منافذ سيكو حول العالم.
تألق ونجاح النجم العالمي نوفاك جوكوفيتش حفز سيكو على إصدار الساعة الفريدة، خلال 2014 شارك نوفاك جوكوفيتش في 20 بطولة في 20 مدينة في 12 دولة. يؤكد فريق العمل في سيكو أنه بدون آسترون جي بي إس سولار ورلد تايم التي تم إصدارها خصيصا من أجله بكمية محدودة، لكان عليهم ضبط الساعة يدويا أكثر من 60 مرة. ومع ذلك ومع ساعته "آسترون" كل ما يحتاجه هو لمسة زر ومن ثم يتم ضبط ساعته حسب التوقيت المحلي آليا. يبدو جدوله للعام المقبل شاقا كذلك، لذلك عندما رأى نوفاك سلسلة آسترون دوال تايم الجديدة كانت هي خياره الطبيعي حيث تتقاسم كل المزايا الرئيسية لموديله "آسترون" الحالي، لكن بمعيار جديد وتصميم ميناء أبسط. لقد وُلدت آسترون جي بي إس سولار نوفاك جوكوفيتش الجديدة بالإصدار المحدود.
