Dubai Trade announces the 8th ESEA with new smart and innovation awards

Event aligns with Smart City Initiative and UAE Year of Innovation with six new categories

Dubai, 20 September 2015: Dubai Trade, the online gateway for trade and logistics services in Dubai, has announced the 8th cycle of its annual flagship event, the E-Services Excellence Award (ESEA) with a new theme and categories to support the Smart City initiative and 2015 Year of Innovation as announced earlier by HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

The ESEA was launched by Dubai Trade in 2008 to highlight the application of e-Services in trade and logistics and to recognise the best example on the Dubai Trade Portal which recently reached a 100% adoption rate by users on most of its services.

During this 8th cycle of the ESEA, Dubai Trade is unveiling four different award categories in line with Government efforts to encourage transactions through smart phones. The categories are the Smart Services Award for M-Token Services; Smart Services Award for Free Zone Services; Smart Services Award for Clearance Services, and Smart Services Award for Payment Services. Winners will be selected on their total number of mobile transactions across key services provided by DP World, Dubai Customs, and Economic Zones World throughout 2015.

Dubai Trade has also launched two Innovation awards titled Dubai Trade Innovation Award of the Year and Dubai Trade Innovator Award of the Year as part of the ESEA to recognise the best innovative project and the best innovative idea in the trade and logistics industry developed by individuals or organisations in the UAE based on nominations and criteria that can be found on the ESEA website www.esea.ae

The 7th ESEA cycle was held last February under the patronage of HH Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, in the presence of VIPs, senior officials from the government and private sectors as well as DP World senior management.

Some 9 companies were recognised for their adoption of e-Services on the Dubai Trade Portal in 2014. The ESEA celebrates digital transformation in trade and logistics activities in the country and underlines Dubai Trade’s role as the single window for trading transactions. 

دبي التجارية تُعلِن عن الدورة الثامنة لـ "جائزة التميُّز في الخدمات الإلكترونية"

تم استحداث فئات الجائزة لهذا العام انسجاماً مع مبادرة المدينة الذكية وعام الابتكار في الإمارات

دبي، 27 سبتمبر 2015: أعلنت دبي التجارية، النافذة الموحدة للخدمات التجارية واللوجستية في دبي، عن بدء استعداداتها للدورة الثامنة لحدثها السنوي الأبرز "جائزة التميُّز في الخدمات الإلكترونية" وذلك باستحداث فئات الجائزة تماشياً مع دعم مبادرة المدينة الذكية وانسجاماً مع سمة 2015 التي أعلن عنها صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، نائب رئيس الدولة، رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي، حفظه الله، كعام للابتكار.

وقد تم إطلاق "جائزة التميُّز في الخدمات الإلكترونية" لأول مرة من قِبَل دبي التجارية في عام 2008 لتسليط الضوء على التحول الإلكتروني في التجارة والخدمات اللوجستية وتقديراً لمعدلات النمو في تبني الخدمات الإلكترونية من خلال بوابة دبي التجارية والتي وصلت إلى 100% في معظم الخدمات.

الجديد في الدورة الثامنة من جائزة التميُّز في الخدمات الإلكترونية هو تغيير فئات الجائزة واستحداث أربع فئات مختلفة تهدف إلى دعم جهود الحكومة في تشجيع الأفراد على تغيير الأسلوب التقليدي لانجاز معاملاتهم وانتهاج الأسلوب الأمثل والأسهل المتمثل في استخدام هواتفهم الذكية، حيث أن اختيار الفائزين في فئات الجائزة الأربع والتي تضم جائزة الخدمات الذكية في خدمات m-token وجائزة الخدمات الذكية في خدمات المنطقة الحرة، وجائزة الخدمات الذكية في خدمات التخليص الجمركي، وجائزة الخدمات الذكية في خدمات الدفع سيتم بناءً على إجمالي عدد المعاملات الذكية التي تم إنجازها خلال عام 2015 عبر بوابة دبي التجارية في الخدمات الإلكترونية الرئيسة لكل من موانئ دبي العالمية، وجمارك دبي، وعالم المناطق الاقتصادية.

بالإضافة إلى ذلك فقد أطلقت دبي التجارية جائزتين في مجال الابتكار باسم جائزة دبي التجارية للابتكار وجائزة دبي التجارية للمبتكر كفرع من فروع "جائزة التميُّز في الخدمات الإلكترونية" لتتويج أفضل مشروع مبتكَر وأفضل فكرة مبتَكَرة في مجال التجارة والخدمات اللوجستية تم تقديمها من الأفراد أو المؤسسات في الإمارات خلال العام وفقاً لمعايير محددة ودقيقة يمكن الاطِّلاع عليها من خلال الموقع الإلكتروني للجائزةwww.esea.ae ".

"الاتحاد للقطارات" تنقل مليوني طن من حبيبات الكبريت خلال 12 شهراً

جرى نقلها من شاه وحبشان إلى ميناء التصدير في الرويس

28 سبتمبر 2015، أبوظبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة: أعلنت الاتحاد للقطارات، المُطور والمُشغل لشبكة السكك الحديدية الوطنية في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، عن نجاحها في نقل أكثر من مليوني طن من حبيبات الكبريت من مصادر الإنتاج في شاه وحبشان إلى ميناء التصدير في الرويس، وذلك خلال 12 شهراً الماضية للعمليات التجريبية.

وتجري العمليات التجريبية بشكل يومي من قبل "الاتحاد للقطارات دي بي"، الذراع التشغيلي للاتحاد للقطارات في المرحلة الأولى للمشروع، منذ انتهاء عمليات إنشاء مسار المرحلة الأولى الذي يمتد على طول 264 كيلومتر العام الماضي. ويسلط هذا الإنجاز الضوء على الفوائد الاقتصادية والبيئية التي سيعود بها المشروع على الدولة، حيث نجحت الاتحاد القطارات حتى اللحظة بنقل شحنات يعادل حجمها حمولة 66 ألف شاحنة على طرقات الدولة.

وقال فارس سيف المزروعي، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة الاتحاد للقطارات: "يسُرنا تحقيق هذا الإنجاز الكبير الذي يتمثل بنقل أكثر من مليوني طن من حبيبات الكبريت عبر شبكتنا، بالتزامن مع مرور عام على انطلاق العمليات التجريبية". مؤكداً أن هذا الإنجاز يعتبر مصدر فخر للاتحاد للقطارات و"الاتحاد للقطارات دي بي" والدولة بشكل عام، حيث أنه يظهر وبشكل واضح قيمة "الاتحاد للقطارات" كوسيلة نقل موثوقة وآمنة وفعالة وصديقة للبيئة".

وأضاف المزروعي: "إن نجاحنا لم يكن ليتحقق لولا الدعم الكبير الذي حصلنا عليه من متعاملينا وشركائنا وأبرزهم شركة بترول أبوظبي الوطنية - أدنوك، وسنستمر في البناء على هذا النجاح نحو هدفنا المستقبلي والمتمثل بنقل أكثر من 7 ملايين طن من حبيبات الكبريت كل عام عند تشغيل الشبكة بشكل كامل".

ويتألف أسطول الاتحاد للقطارات حالياً من سبعة قاطرات و240 عربة تعمل على مدار الساعة لنقل حبيبات الكبريت بين المحطتين في شاه وحبشان في المنطقة الغربية بأبوظبي إلى المحطات في الرويس.

وجدير بالذكر، أن مشروع الاتحاد للقطارات يجري تطويره على ثلاثة مراحل، وسيعمل على نقل المواد الضخمة وغيرها مقدماً حلولاً مخصصة إلى الاحتياجات المتعددة للعملاء. وصُممت مسارات الشبكة لتناسب جميع قطاعات العملاء ولتضم محطات تربط مراكز الإنتاج مع موانئ التصدير والاستيراد.

وسيقدم مشروع السكك الحديدية عند اكتمال مراحله الثلاث، خدمات النقل والشحن والركاب عبر شبكة تمتد لنحو 1,200 كيلومتراً، تربط بين المناطق الحضرية والمناطق المحيطة وتعزز جهود التنمية الاقتصادية عبر إمارات الدولة. كما ستشكل هذه الشبكة جزءً حيوياً من شبكة السكك الحديدية لدول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، حيث تربط السكة دولة الإمارات بالمملكة العربية السعودية عبر منفذ الغويفات في المنطقة الغربية بأبوظبي، وبسلطنة عُمان عبر مدينة العين شرقاً.
