Academy to address growing need for state-of-the-art storage technologies and security standards to enhance protecting critical data of ME companies

خبير من Brocade: شركات تشغيل الاتصالات في مصر تواجه تحديات جديدة مع تطبيق تقنيات SDN والسُحب الافتراضية

القاهرة، مصر، 25 أغسطس 2015: تواجه شركات تزويد الخدمات بالإضافة إلى مشغلي الاتصالات في مصر ضغوطاً مختلفة تتعلق بضرورة القيام بأمرين اثنين - الأول هو الاستجابة بشكل أسرع لحجم الابتكارات الحديثة التي تشهدها الأسواق اليوم بالإضافة إلى زيادة متطلبات المستخدمين فيما يتعلق بالخدمات والعروض المميزة. وفي الوقت الذي تشهد فيه إيردات قطاع الاتصالات الصوتية تراجعاً كبيراً كما نعلم، فإن شركات تزويد الخدمات يجب أن تركز بشكل أكبر على تقديم خدمات مميزة خاصة بباقات البيانات وكافة العروض الأخرى التي تساهم في جذب عدد أكبر من المشتركين.

إحدى مزايا تطبيق تقنيات الشبكات المُعرّفة بالتطبيقات SDN هي القدرة على إدارة كافة الأنظمة ضمن الشبكة من خلال وحدة تحكم مركزية يمكن اتخاذ القرارت من خلالها لكامل الشبكة والسماح لكافة المعدات الوصول إلى الشبكة. النتيجة هي تسهيل إدارة هذه الشبكة وتخفيف الضغط عليها.

قال يعرب سخنيني، المدير الإقليمي لمنطقة الشرق الأوسط والبحر المتوسط وإفريقيا في "بروكيد" بأن إدارة الشبكة بشكل مركزي يمكن أن يشكل هدفاً محدداً بالنسبة لأي هجوم إلكتروني ضار أيضاً، وبالنسبة لمشغلي الإتصالات يجب أن تكون قضية حماية هذا المستوى من التحكم على رأس الأولويات، فمن دون تطبيق الحماية الكافية فإن اختراق الشبكة يمكن أن يشكل خطراً كبيراً على كافة البيانات المتبادلة عليها.

كما وتشكل الشبكات المُعرّفة بالبرمجيات SDN تحدياً من نوع آخر يتعلق بإرساء جذور الثقة RoT في عملية التحقق من صحة إشارات التحكم داخل الشبكة. ففي البنية التقليدية للشبكات، يمكن أن تُدار عملية التحقق ببساطة من خلال تحديد عمل البرمجيات ضمن أجزاء معينة من الشبكة. لكن لا يمكن القيام بذلك في الشبكات المُعرّفة بالبرمجيات وبالتالي بجب علينا مواجهة تحدي جديد يتعلق بإدارة جذور الثقة RoT. العمل على مواجهة هذا التحدي يشهد تطورات ملحوظة ومن المرجح أن يتطلب تعاوناً من جميع الجهات في القطاع من أجل الوصول إلى صيغة معينة ومناسبة.

حماية بيانات العملاء وتطبيقاتهم مع ظهور التقنيات السحابية

حماية البيانات الداخلية ضمن البيئة التقليدية للشبكات كانت تتم من خلال جدران الحماية النارية وتحديد الخروقات الأمنية بسهولة ومواجهتها. لكن الأمر يختلف ضمن بيئات الحوسبة السحابية والبيئات الهجينة، فعملية تحديد التهديدات المحتملة ومستوى الهجومات الإلكترونية يمكن أن تصبح أقل وضوحاً.

تقع المسؤولية بشكل كبير على شركات تزويد الخدمات لضمان تطبيق العمليات اللازمة والتقنيات المُعززة لحماية بيانات عملائها وتطبيقاتهم، لذا ينبغي على مزودي الاتصالات تطبيق الإجراءات الأمنية في كافة مستويات الشبكة، عملية تحليل البيانات هي عملية حيوية وأساسية للغاية هنا، ويجب على المشغلين تحديد أي نشاط غير طبيعي في حركة البيانات بشكل أوتوماتيكي، فإي تغيير في النشاط الاعتيادي لحركة البيانات مثل ذروة التدفق للبيانات أو التغييرات السلوكية يمكن أن تكون مؤشراً واضحاً لهجوم إلكتروني على مستوى التطبيقات أو على انقطاع محتمل في عمل الشبكة.

وهنا ايضاً يمكن أن يكون التعاون ضمن القطاع هاماً للغاية، على مشغلي الاتصالات تبادل المعلومات حول التهديدات التي واجهوها وماهي الأساليب الجديدة التي طبقوها للتعامل معها. عملية تجميع المعلومات هذه ستساعد كامل القطاع على التكيف مع التهديدات الجديدة بشكل أسرع وهو أمر ضروري للغاية لحماية بيانات العملاء وتطبيقاتهم.

التعاون ضمن القطاع - تحديد إطار الحماية المناسب

في نهاية الأمر، ستساهم عملية انتقال مشغلي الاتصالات للعمل من خلال الشبكات المُعرّفة بالبرمجيات SDN في الحصول على مزايا أمنية عديدة للمشغلين والعملاء على حد سواء. فمن خلال تقنيات SDN يمكن إنشاء شبكات افتراضية مناسبة جداً وتعمل من خلال بيئات معددة وآمنة للغاية. هذا النهج مرغوب به بشكل كبير من ناحية أمنية فهو يعني بأن البرمجيات الضارة التي تدخل الشبكة يمكنها فقط الوصول إلى موارد داخلية محدودة للغاية.

ليس هناك أدنى شك بأن العمل بشكل أكبر نحو تحقيق ذلك يجب أن يصبح حقيقية واقعية والتعاون ضمن هذا القطاع هو أمر بالغ الأهمية وذلك لتحديد جذور الثقة بشكل موحد وإمكانية الاعتماد عليها من قبل كافة الأطراف. من الرائع حقاً رؤية تعاون حقيقي بين كافة الأطراف ضمن هذا القطاع وعلى كافة المستويات للتأكد من تطبيق إطار حماية مُعزز ومناسب للجميع.

Fresh investments in UAE’s industrial sector injects renewed impetus in regional materials handling industry

Air cargo logistics and manufacturing among top sectors targeted by global players at Materials Handling Middle East

Dubai, UAE: A spate of investments in the UAE’s industrial sector is injecting renewed impetus in the materials handling industry, as global logistics and warehouse suppliers turn their backs on sluggish domestic markets and look to the Middle East for growth.

Abu Dhabi’s Khalifa Port's Industrial Zone (KIZAD), and the newly named Dubai South have seen several multi-million dollar investments in various manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics operations in the first eight months of 2015.

Al Gharbia Pipe Company’s US$300 million manufacturing plant in KIZAD has added to the US$322 million in investments in the UAE Capital’s industrial zone for the first half of the year, while in June 2015, global supply chain company Mohebi Logistics broke ground on its new US$150 million 260,000sqm facility at Dubai South.

Such large scale investments underline the positive sentiment currently pervading the regional industrial sector, and will ramp up demand for intralogistics providers and suppliers of heavy lifting equipment, pallets, racking, and picking and storage solutions.

The good news is, more than 150 brands from 21 countries will be lay the red carpet and showcase their latest wares at the upcoming Materials Handling Middle East exhibition, the region’s only dedicated trade and networking event for intralogistics, warehousing, supply chain management, freight and cargo.

Organised by Messe Frankfurt Middle East, the three-day event is now in its 8th edition, and will take place from 14-16 September 2015 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

More than a dozen international companies are debut exhibitors, including Bulmor Industries, the Austrian manufacturer of multidirectional sideloaders, which is targeting Middle East steel, aluminium, plastics, and automotive manufacturers.

“The Middle East’s construction and major steel structural project market has recovered significantly from the global financial crisis, and we’re seeing a marked increase in activity and orders from regional manufacturers,” said Russell George, Managing Director at Bulmor.

Materials Handing Middle East 2015 will also spotlight the latest developments and turnkey solutions for the air cargo intralogistics sector – increasingly relevant as Dubai continues to rise the ranks as one of the world’s busiest air cargo and logistics hubs.

At the forefront of the latest air cargo solutions will be Germany’s Unitechnik Systems.  The leading supplier of automated warehouses and IT systems will showcase its intralogistics solutions specifically targeting the airport sector, from high-bay storage systems, stacker cranes, roller conveyors, and workstations, to automation and inventory control systems.
