HEFEI, China. May 22, 2015 (BUSINESS WIRE/ME NewsWire)-- JAC S3 achieved five stars during the recent C-NCAP crash test with 55.4 points, further proving the hot-selling SUV model’s security and high quality, according to the first-batch C-NCAP evaluation results announced by China Automotive Technology & Research Center on April 23.
A total of 17 models representing 9 domestic automobile brands, 7 joint-venture brands and 1 imported brand, such as Honda VEZEL, SUBARU Outback and Audi A3, participated in the crash test, including five A-class cars, three B-class cars and nine SUVs. All the tested vehicles were purchased by the C-NCAP management center from the market.
In the 100% front impact and 40% offset collision, S3 respectively got 15.65 points and 13.75 points, and its airbags opened in time without any deformation in the passenger compartment structure, fully buffering the front impact force and effectively protecting the occupants' head, breast and legs.
In the side crash test, S3 has achieved an outstanding performance with a full score of 18 points, with no deformation in the highly intensified B-column structure. Besides, the side airbags and side curtain airbags opened normally and promptly, providing full protection to the dummy head and breast.
In the seats’ whiplash test, S3 also passed with a full score off our points. Its seats and headrest provided excellent protection to the dummy neck, reducing the damage to occupants in the rear-end collision.
S3 has rich active and passive security systems, including side airbags, side curtains, ISOFIX, ESC (Electronic Stability Program) and so on, displaying the automobile maker’s dedication to creating value for customers.

خفي، الصين . 22 مايو 2015 (بزنيس واير/ميدل ايست نيوز واير): كشف المركز الصيني لتقنية وأبحاث السيارات عن نتائج اختبارات الصدم للبرنامج الصيني لتقييم السيارات الجديدة C-NCAP في 23 أبريل. وحصلت سيارة "S3" من شركة JAC على درجة عالية وصلت إلى 55.4 مما منحها تصنيف خمسة نجوم للسلامة، ما يثبت أكثر فأكثر الأمان والجودة العالية اللذين تتمتع بهما هذه السيارة متعددة الأغراض التي حققت مبيعات عالية.
وشارك في اختبارات الصدم ما مجموعه 17 طرازاً تمثل 9 ماركات سيارات محلية، و7 سيارات ذات علامات تجارية مشتركة، وسيارة ذات علامة تجارية مستوردة، مثل سيارة "فيزل" من "هوندا" و"سوبارو أوتباك"، و"أودي آي 3"، بالإضافة إلى خمس سيارات من الفئة "أ"، وثلاث سيارات من الفئة "ب"، و9 سيارات رياضية متعددة الاستخدامات. والجدير بالذكر أن كافة المركبات التي تم اختبارها تم شراؤها مباشرة من السوق من قبل مركز إدارة ابرنامج الصيني لتقييم السيارات الجديدة "سي-إن سي إيه بي".
حصلت سيارة "S3" في اختبار التصادم الأمامي بحاجز صلب بنسبة 100 في المائة، وفي اختبار التصادم الأمامي الجانبي على 15.65 نقطة و13.75 نقطة على التوالي، وفتحت الوسائد الهوائية في الوقت المناسب دون إحداث أي تشوه في هيكل مقصورة القيادة، وساهمت بالتخفيف من الوطأة الكبرى لقوة الاصطدام ووفرت بذلك حماية فعالة لرأس الراكب، وصدره، وساقيه.
أما في اختبارات التصادم الجانبي، حققت " S3" أداءً متميزاً وسجلت علامة كاملة من 18 نقطة، ولم يسجل أي ضرر يذكر للعمود "بي" المقوّى بعد الصدم. وإلى جانب ذلك، عملت الوسائد الهوائية الجانبية والستائر الهوائية الجانبية بشكل طبيعي وفتحت بسرعة، موفرة حماية كاملة لرأس الدمية وصدرها.
أما في اختبارات التصادم الخلفي للمقاعد، اجتازت " S3" الاختبار مع تسجيل علامة كاملة. إذ أمنت المقاعد ومسند الرأس حماية ممتازة لرقبة الدمية، وحدّت من الأضرار التي قد تلحق بركاب السايرة خلال تصادم خلفي.
