Companies sign MoU to support the establishment of new business and investments in New Zealand

Al Hilal Global Sukuk Fund delivers 4.78% dividend

[UAE, February 02, 2015] - Al Hilal Bank is pleased to announce the dividend payout of its flagship fund, the Al Hilal Global Sukuk Fund. The Fund, which was launched in March 2012, distributed a 4.78% dividend to all registered unit holders as of December 31, 2014.

Al Hilal Global Sukuk Fund’s objective is to generate a regular stream income as well as achieve capital growth by investing in a global universe of Shariah-compliant fixed-income securities (Sukuk) issued by sovereign, quasi-sovereign and corporate organizations.

Commenting on the performance, Lim Say Cheong, Head of Investment Banking, said: “The Fund has registered an outstanding cumulative total return of close to 11% since inception and we are proud to announce this year’s dividend payout. We are extremely pleased that the Fund has delivered an attractive return and payout through a relatively low risk investment product, thus satisfying our clients’ requirements.”

The distribution equaled 4.78% of the Fund’s net asset value (NAV) based on the initial NAV of US$ 10. The positive performance of the fund amidst a low interest rate environment and global uncertainty reflects the fund management expertise of Al Hilal Bank’s Investment Banking Group, the Fund Manager, and its Investment Advisor, CIMB-Principal Islamic Asset Management of Malaysia.

Al Hilal Bank currently offers 3 open-ended mutual funds inclusive of the Global Sukuk Fund. The Bank’s first fund, the GCC Equity Fund, was launched in 2011 and has performed strongly despite highly volatile market conditions, delivering a healthy double digit return of 37% since inception. The GCC Equity fund was awarded “Best Islamic Fund” by the Banker Middle East UAE Product Awards in 2013. In June of 2014, the Bank launched its latest fund, the Al Hilal Global Balanced Fund. The Global Balanced Fund aims at generating appropriate periodic revenues on its Investments, giving the Investors a chance to receive periodic dividends, and achieve long-term capital growth by investing in a globally diversified portfolio of high dividend-yield stocks and Shariah compliant fixed-income securities (Sukuk).

The bank plans to launch another fund this year as part of its ongoing effort in creating value and to increase diversification for its clients and investors.

]الإمارات، 02 فبراير 2015] - يسر مصرف الهلال أن يعلن عن توزيع أرباح صندوقه الرائد "الهلال للصكوك العالمية". وقام الصندوق، الذي أطلق في شهر مارس/آذار من العام 2012، بتوزيع أرباح بنسبة 4.78% لكافة حاملي الوحدات المسجلين في الصندوق حتى تاريخ 31 ديسمبر/كانون الأول 2014.

ويهدف صندوق الهلال للصكوك العالمية إلى توفير دخل منتظم، بالإضافة إلى تحقيق نمو رأس المال من خلال الاستثمار في الأوراق المالية العالمية المتنوعة ذات الدخل الثابت (الصكوك) المتوافقة مع الشريعة الإسلامية والتي تصدرها الصناديق السيادية وشبه السيادية والشركات.

وقال ليم ساي تشيونغ، رئيس قسم الخدمات المصرفية الاستثمارية، تعليقاً على هذا الأداء: "حقق الصندوق عوائد إجمالية تراكمية قوية وصلت إلى ما يقرب 11% منذ تأسيسه، ونحن فخورون بالإعلان عن توزيع أرباح هذا العام، كما أننا سعداء جداً بتحقيق الصندوق لعوائد مجزية وتوزيعه للأرباح العائدة من خلال منتجات استثمارية منخفضة المخاطر، وبالتالي تلبية متطلبات عملائنا".

وتم توزيع ما نسبته 4.78% من صافي قيمة الأصول للصندوق استناداً إلى صافي القيمة الأولية للأصول والبالغة 10 دولار للوحدة. ويعكس هذا الأداء الإيجابي للصندوق في ظل انخفاض معدل سعر الفائدة وحالة عدم اليقين في الأسواق العالمية، الخبرة الإدارية للصندوق من قبل مجموعة الخدمات المصرفية الإستثمارية في مصرف الهلال والمستشار الاستثماري "سي. آي. أم. بي. برينسيبال" الماليزية لإدارة الأصول الإسلامية (CIMB-Principal Islamic Asset Management of Malaysia).

Somerset Maslak Istanbul to open in financial and cultural centre of Turkey

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 30 January 2015 – CapitaLand’s wholly-owned serviced residence business unit, The Ascott Limited (Ascott), has secured a contract to manage its first serviced residence in Turkey, Somerset Maslak Istanbul. Ascott’s entry into Turkey will expand the footprint of the world’s largest international serviced residence owner-operator to 90 cities across 25 countries.

Slated to open in 2016, the 159-unit Somerset Maslak Istanbul has a prime location in one of Istanbul’s main business & leisure districts. It will be part of an integrated development, Maslak 1453, which comprises a 1,453-metre long shopping promenade and 24 towers of commercial, residential, dining and recreational facilities. Ascott, which pioneered  luxury branded serviced residence with the opening of its first property in Singapore in 1984, has been awarded the management contract for Somerset Maslak Istanbul by real estate company Maslak Konaklam, an affiliate of the Saudi-based Abduljawad Group of Companies.

- مجموعة سياراته غير الروسية تتألف من مرسيدس بنز Guard Pullman S600 طويلة مدرّعة بسعر 1.62 مليون دولار، بالإضافة إلى سيارة مرسيدس بنز Gelandewagen بسعر 434,000 دولار.  

باراك أوباما "بلا دراما"

- قبل أن يصبح رئيسا، امتلك أوباما سيارة كرايسلر 2005 300C بمحرك V8، والتي كانت مركز الكثير من النقد لانعدام كفاءتها في استهلاك الوقود.

- تحوّل إلى سيارة فورد إسكيب المهجنة، موديل عام 2007، والتي تم بيعها في مزاد علني في وقت لاحق.

- يطلق اسم "الوحش" على سيارته كرئيس، فني تزن قرابة 8 طن ويقدّر سعرها بما يقارب 1.5 مليون دولار؛ ويماثل وزن أبوابها وزن أبواب طائرة بوينغ 757 نفاثة، وهي مزوّدة بالرؤية الليلية، بنك دم، خزان وقود لا ينفجر عند الإصطدام المباشر؛ كما يقال أيضا أنها مدرعة مضادة للرصاص ومقاومة للقنابل. 

"دادي" شي جين بينغ

- غالبا ما يشار إلى شي جين بينغ بأنه قائد الصين الأعظم، وهو من محبي سيارة Hongqi، السيارة الفخمة الوحيدة المصنعة في الصين والتي تستخدم كسيارة المناسبات الحكومية الرسمية (السيارة أيضا متاحة للبيع لسكان الجمهورية الصينية). 

- Hongqi L5 اشتهرت سيارة بسعرها الباهظ الذي يصل إلى 800،000 دولار وطيف من الميزات التي يحبها أي قائد شيوعي، اشتهرت عندما قام شي جين بينغ بزيارة نيوزيلندة، حيث ظهرت السيارة قبل أن تهبط طائرة الرئيس ومرافقيه في المطار. 

- يصل وزن سيارة Hongqi L5 الطويلة إلى حوالي 6950 كغم، وتعكس ملامحها تاريخ الشرق الأقصى، سواء كان ذلك مقابض الأبواب أوالتفاصيل المتميزة للمقصورة الداخلية المغطاة بأرقى أنواع الجلد والخشب المنحوت.

البابا فرنسيس، صاحب "مكالمات الهاتف المفاجأة"

- قام البابا فرنسيس ببيع سيارته فيات باندا 4×4 العام الماضي لجمع الأموال للفقراء، في الوقت الذي كان يبني به المراحيض للمشردين على مقربة من كاتدرائية القديس بطرس في الفاتيكان. ورغم أنه تم بيع سيارة البابا القديمة في المزاد بسعر هائل وصل إلى 244,000 دولار، إلا أنه لم يتم الإفصاح عن سعر السيارة الجديدة إلى الآن.

- سيارة البابا المخصصة للإستخدام اليومي هي Renault 1984 هاتشباك قطعت 300,000 كم. شوهد البابا أيضا في تجمع غير رسمي في بلدة كاستل غاندولفوعلى مقربة من روما بسيارة فورد فوكس زرقاء من الجيل الثاني، بسعر يزيد على 16,000 دولار. 

أنجيلا ميركل "الأم الحديدية"

- من المعروف عن أنجيلا أنها تقوم بالتناوب في ماركات السيارات التي تستخدمها رسميا. السبب؟ إظهار الحياد والدعم الكامل لجميع شركات تصنيع السيارات الألمانية.

- تم بيع سيارة ميرلك الفولكس فاجن جولف 1990 في مزاد على Ebay  في عام 2012. بعد أن وصل العرض المقدّم 130,000 يورو، تمّ إلغاء المزاد لاحقا عندما تبين أنه لم يكن هناك اهتمام فعلي من المزايدين على السيارة، ثمّ بيعت السيارة لأعلى مزايد بسعر 10,165 يورو

- وصلت ميركل إلى قمة الإتحاد الأوروبي في بروكسل في نهاية العام الماضي بسيارتها أودي A8 بلوحة "007" في وقت راجت به الإشاعات بقيام الولايات الأمريكية بالتجسس عليها.
