Canon Middle East unveils two new lightweight, superzoom, bridge cameras, ideal
for capturing hidden details, both near and far – the PowerShot SX520 HS and
PowerShot SX400 IS. Boasting 42x and 30x optical zooms, both models incorporate
Canon’s leading optical expertise in stunning, highly compact bodies – ideal
for capturing virtually any special occasion in the quality it deserves.

Built to help you tackle any situation, the PowerShot SX520 HS’s 42x
optical zoom lens is versatile enough to capture all subjects, from unmissable
holidays to days out. With a 24mm wide-angle lens, it offers the flexibility to
capture sweeping vistas, while an impressive 1008mm maximum focal length lets
you zoom in on detail in the distance.
The PowerShot SX520 HS’s improved Zoom Framing Assist Auto mode
automatically adjusts the zoom to maintain subjects at a pre-set size within
the frame. The camera detects when a subject is close to moving out of the
frame and automatically zooms out keeping the subject in frame. It also
smoothly pulls back as a subject comes towards the camera to maintain their
face at the same size.
Packed into a compact, lightweight body, the PowerShot SX400 IS contains
a powerful 30x optical zoom – perfect for those moments you don’t want to miss.
The compact design is easy to carry wherever you go, with a large, comfortable
