2025 Abu Dhabi Maritime Awards Winners Set New Standards for the Marina Industry

Abu Dhabi, UAE – 28 November 2025: Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region; in the presence of Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, President of the UAE Sailing and Rowing Federation; and in collaboration with the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC), an affiliate of the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport; Abu Dhabi Maritime – part of AD Ports Group (ADX: ADPORTS) – announced the winners of the 2025 Abu Dhabi Maritime Awards in a ceremony during the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show on 20 November 2025.

 

The Awards aim to bring recognition to the vibrant marina industry across the Middle East, North Africa, and Türkiye (MENAT region), and to set new benchmarks for excellence in marina management and operations.

 

For their third edition, the Awards expanded their scope to recognise outstanding organisation-wide, individual, and project-based achievements or performance.

 

The Awards ceremony honoured 22 winners across the following categories:

New this year was the incorporation of an artificial intelligence agent into the Awards’ secure online submission and assessment platform.

 

As in previous editions, submissions to the Abu Dhabi Maritime Awards first underwent analysis by teams of qualified assessors, who scored each entry according to the criteria specific to each award category. 

 

The AI agent organised data for easy access by the assessors. It further identified submissions’ potential strengths and shortcomings for assessors’ consideration during their own comprehensive reviews.

 

Assessors submitted their findings to the Awards jury members, who weighed assessors’ input as part of their deliberations, but also conducted their own qualitative examination of each entry before deciding award winners.

 

The introduction of AI assistance to the Abu Dhabi Maritime Awards has laid the groundwork for its further integration as a complement to the human-led evaluation and judging processes.

 

The Abu Dhabi Maritime Awards model draws from multi-sector leading awards programme benchmarks. Also notable this year was the diversity of the Awards’ 13 assessors. With wide-ranging professional experience – from customer experience strategy to quality management, marketing, sustainable development, and business excellence – spanning a combined 12 countries on five continents, these experts brought valuable perspectives to their analyses, further underling the Awards’ panoramic approach.

 

The 2025 Abu Dhabi Maritime Awards jury, meanwhile, comprised distinguished leaders whose eminence ensured a rigorous, independent, and forward-looking evaluation process, backed by decades of practice across industry, consultancy, and quality frameworks. This collective strength reinforced the Awards’ stature as a measure of excellence in the maritime sector.

 

The fourth edition of the Abu Dhabi Maritime Awards is scheduled to take place in fall 2026.

 

In collaboration with Integrated Transport Centre, Abu Dhabi Maritime, operating under AD Ports Group, is tasked with safeguarding Abu Dhabi’s waterways and supporting the growth of the emirate’s maritime sector.

 

The awards are a testament to the organisations’ commitment to upholding high health, safety, and environmental standards, positioning Abu Dhabi as a premier global maritime hub.

الشركة العربية للسيارات ومجوهرات داماس تكشفان عن إصدار محدود من سيارة إنفينيتي QX80 احتفاءً باليوم الوطني الإماراتي الرابع والخمسين

دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، بتاريخ  نوفمبر 2025: أزاحت الشركة العربية للسيارات، التابعة لمجموعة عبد الواحد الرستماني، الموزّع الرسمي لعلامة إنفينيتي التجارية في دبي والإمارات الشمالية، الستار عن أحدث إصداراتها، إصدار اليوم الإماراتي الوطني الرابع والخمسين من سيارة إنفينيتي QX80، وهو إصدار محدود يضم سبعَ سياراتٍ فقط، جرى تصميمها بالتعاون مع مجوهرات داماس، احتفاءً بروح الاتحاد، وتكريماً لإرث الوطن العريق، وتجسيداً لطموحه اللامحدود.

استُلهمت كل تحفة من النجوم السبع التي أضاءت سماء الإمارات في الثاني من ديسمبر عام 1971، في رمز يجسّد وحدة الإمارات السبع، ولا يقتصر هذا الإصدار على التصميم فحسب، بل يحكي قصة وطنٍ نسج مجده من الحلم والإصرار، وفتح آفاقاً جديدة لكل من اعتبر هذه الأرض نقطة انطلاق نحو إمكانات غير محدودة..

Gold outlook: focus on rate cut odds as sentiment improves

Gold (XAU/USD) is back trading with an upside bias after a few days of sideways consolidation following a downside correction earlier this month. Markets had been drifting without a clear direction last week as uncertainty about the Fed’s policy outlook caused risk appetite to dwindle. This week, the push higher in gold is largely being driven by renewed expectations that Fed could cut interest rates again in December, a shift fuelled by disappointing U.S. economic data and dovish comments from Fed officials.

The latest pricing on the CME FedWatch tool shows that the odds of another cut are now at 85%, having risen sharply from under 20% just a week ago. Several factors have triggered this move, but the latest driver seems to be the increase in odds that Kevin Hassett, chairman of the president’s National Economic Council, will get elected by Trump as the new Fed Chairman next year. His dovish growth focus is thought to be the one that most aligns with Trump’s views that that rates can fall much further, making him the perfect candidate. If he was elected, a faster easing cycle would be priced in.

However, that is still months away. Markets are more concerned with what will happen in the next few weeks. A barrage of data released on Tuesday – albeit most of it delayed and therefore somewhat stale – confirmed the view that the US economy is softening. Retail sales, producer prices and consumer confidence all came in below expectations. The data isn’t awful, but soft enough to enable the Federal Reserve to consider easing rates further, even if just as a precautionary measure in case the labour market has deteriorated further in the past few months.

As a result, real yields on U.S. bonds have softened alongside a weakening dollar, both of which tend to boost gold’s appeal for investors. Beyond the interest-rate dynamic, structural factors continue to underpin demand: central banks remain major purchasers of gold for reserve diversification, and many investors still view gold as a safe haven amid global economic uncertainty and macro-financial risks.

Gold is likely to remain well-supported in the coming days as markets continue to price in the possibility of a near-term Federal Reserve rate cut, keeping U.S. real yields subdued and the dollar on the back foot. However, several key risks could temper the rally. The most immediate threat is any upside surprise in upcoming U.S. economic data, which could revive the case for “higher for longer” rates and push yields higher again, removing one of gold’s main supports. A rebound in the dollar could also weigh on the metal by making it more expensive for international buyers. Finally, from a technical standpoint, gold may be vulnerable to short-term pullbacks or consolidation after its recent climb, particularly if traders lock in profits or positioning becomes overstretched. Overall, the balance of drivers favours ongoing strength, but the path higher is not without near-term risks.

يعود الذهب (XAU/USD) للتداول بتوجه صعودي بعد أيام من التحرك العرضي أعقبت تصحيحًا هبوطيًا في وقت سابق من الشهر.

الأسبوع الماضي، افتقدت الأسواق الاتجاه الواضح وسط ضبابية بشأن سياسة الفيدرالي، ما قلّص شهية المخاطرة. أما هذا الأسبوع، فالدعم الأساسي لصعود الذهب يأتي من تجدد التوقعات بخفض الفائدة في ديسمبر، مدفوعًا ببيانات اقتصادية أمريكية مخيبة وتعليقات تميل للتيسير من مسؤولي الفيدرالي.

أحدث بيانات أداة CME FedWatch تشير إلى أن احتمالات الخفض وصلت إلى 85% بعد أن كانت أقل من 20% قبل أسبوع. من بين العوامل المحركة لهذا التحول، تزايد فرص اختيار كيفن هاسيت، رئيس المجلس الاقتصادي الوطني، من قبل ترامب لرئاسة الفيدرالي العام المقبل، إذ يُنظر إلى توجهاته الداعمة للنمو على أنها الأقرب لرؤية ترامب بخفض أكبر للفائدة، ما يجعله المرشح المثالي. وفي حال تعيينه، ستتسع التوقعات لدورة تيسير أسرع.

نتيجة لذلك، تراجعت العوائد الحقيقية على السندات الأمريكية إلى جانب ضعف الدولار، وهما عاملان يعززان جاذبية الذهب. إضافة إلى ذلك، تستمر العوامل الهيكلية في دعم الطلب، إذ تواصل البنوك المركزية شراء الذهب لتنويع الاحتياطيات، فيما يبقى المعدن النفيس ملاذًا آمنًا وسط الضبابية الاقتصادية والمخاطر المالية العالمية.

من المرجح أن يظل الذهب مدعومًا في الأيام المقبلة مع استمرار تسعير الأسواق لاحتمال خفض الفائدة قريبًا، ما يبقي العوائد الحقيقية والدولار تحت الضغط. لكن هناك مخاطر قد تحد من الصعود، أبرزها أي مفاجأة إيجابية في البيانات الأمريكية القادمة، والتي قد تعيد سيناريو "الفائدة المرتفعة لفترة أطول" وترفع العوائد مجددًا، إضافة إلى احتمال انتعاش الدولار، ما يجعل الذهب أكثر تكلفة للمشترين الدوليين. وأخيرًا، من الناحية الفنية، قد يشهد الذهب عمليات جني أرباح أو تراجعًا قصير الأجل بعد الصعود الأخير إذا بالغت المراكز الشرائية في التوسع. بشكل عام، تميل العوامل إلى استمرار القوة، لكن الطريق الصاعد ليس خاليًا من المخاطر القريبة.
