 المملكة العربية السعودية: وسعّت شركتا «مايكروسوفت» و«داتابريكس» تعاونهما الاستراتيجي لإتاحة منصة «أزور داتابريكس» أمام قطاع الأعمال في المملكة العربية السعودية، في خطوة ستمكن المؤسسات المحلية من توظيف البيانات الضخمة والذكاء الاصطناعي انسجاماً مع أهداف رؤية 2030 الطموحة.

ويجمع هذا التعاون بين خبرات «داتابريكس» في تحليل البيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي، وبين البنية التحتية الآمنة والمرنة لمنصة «مايكروسوفت أزور»، مما يتيح للمؤسسات في المملكة تطوير عملياتها، وبناء تطبيقات ذكية قائمة على البيانات، واستثمارها في اتخاذ قرارات فاعلة. وإلى جانب ذلك، تركز الشراكة على تقديم برامج تدريب وتأهيل للكوادر في المملكة في مجالي هندسة البيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي.

The sixth edition of ‘Ride with Rixos,’ a community cycling event, will take place on April 26^th, inviting the local community to show your support for World Wish Day

Abu Dhabi, UAE (16^th April 2025): In honour of World Wish Day, celebrated annually on April 29^th to commemorate the founding of Make-A-Wish Foundation, Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi will host a special edition of ‘Ride with Rixos’ on April 26^th. Organised in collaboration with Make-A-Wish Foundation UAE, the event invites the community to come together in support of a cause that brings hope and strength to children facing critical illnesses. Always committed to championing meaningful causes and fostering a spirit of community, this edition of the ride also honours the incredible resilience of the children and families whose lives have been touched by the foundation.

 

Starting at 6:45 AM, participants will gather at the front entrance of Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi for a pre-ride briefing and an energising warm-up session. At 7:15 AM, the 20km scenic cycling route along Abu Dhabi’s iconic Corniche will begin, offering riders a meaningful way to do their part for the community, all while enjoying the fresh morning air and breathtaking coastal views.

 

Upon reaching the finish line, riders will be welcomed back to Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi, where they can enjoy an array of refreshments and the property’s renowned Turkish hospitality. Abu Dhabi, 16^th April 2025 – e& UAE today announced the launch of its autonomous drone-based cell tower inspection, powered by artificial intelligence (AI), marking a major leap in telecom infrastructure management and operational safety.

The new initiative combines real-time data analytics, AI and autonomous flight capabilities to enable faster, safer, and more sustainable inspection of telecom towers across the UAE. This milestone follows the recently inaugurated Drones Operations Centre in strategic collaboration with the UAE Cyber Security Council and General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) to advance unmanned traffic management (UTM) and drone integration in national digital infrastructure.

The introduction of autonomous drones redefines the way telecom infrastructure is maintained and monitored. Controlled remotely from the Drones Operations Centre, each drone flight is tracked in real time by expert teams who oversee flight progress, verify safety protocols and ensure inspection accuracy.

Unlike traditional tower inspections, drones can navigate complex environments autonomously, enhancing worker safety and operational efficiency. They also play a vital role in emergency response, supporting the delivery of critical aid and connectivity in hard-to-reach areas.

AI at the heart of smarter maintenance

Through advanced AI analytics, the drones instantly detect structural anomalies during inspection, enabling a proactive approach to maintenance that prevents costly disruptions and extends asset lifespans. The technology also supports remote inspections of safety procedures and surveillance of unauthorised activity — driving a smarter, more secure network environment.
