International Dog Show Championship Takes Centre Stage at ADIHEX 2026
- World Kennel Union and Emirates Kennel Club Championship Dog Show Showcases Canine Excellence at the Live Arena
Abu Dhabi-UAE: 29 August 2026 – The International Dog Show Championship took place at Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2026. Organised by ADNEC Group, a Modon company, in strategic partnership with the Emirates Falconers' Club, ADIHEX 2026 continues to reinforce Abu Dhabi's position as a leading global destination for hunting, equestrianism, falconry and cultural heritage.
Visitors to ADIHEX 2026 enjoyed a spectacular display of canine excellence at the World Kennel Union and Emirates Kennel Club Championship Dog Show, held at the exhibition's Live Arena. The championship attracted dog owners, breeders, handlers and enthusiasts from the UAE and around the world, providing a platform to showcase a wide variety of breeds competing under internationally recognised judging standards.
Throughout the competition, visitors witnessed professional handling demonstrations and breed judging conducted by Olga Gordin, a prominent World Kennel Union international all-breeds dog show judge from Moldova, who is accredited to judge all dog breeds.
Dogs were presented before the judge and evaluated according to internationally recognised breed standards, including physical structure, proportions, appearance and overall conformity to breed characteristics. Participants competed for top rankings and awards based on these judging criteria, highlighting the quality and diversity of the championship entries.
The championship concluded with the announcement of the Best in Show winners, recognising some of the event's most outstanding canine competitors. The Black Miniature Schnauzer claimed first prize, followed by Kaftans Va Pensiero in second place. The Border Collie secured third place, while the Long Coat Chihuahua and American Bully XL finished fourth and fifth respectively.
As one of the Live Arena's key attractions, the championship drew large crowds and added to the vibrant atmosphere of ADIHEX 2026.
The World Kennel Union and Emirates Kennel Club Championship Dog Show formed part of the exhibition's extensive programme of competitions, demonstrations and live performances, offering visitors an engaging experience that celebrated excellence in canine breeding, training and handling.

بطولة الكلاب الدولية تستعرض أبرز السلالات ومهاراتها في معرض أبوظبي الدولي للصيد والفروسية 2026
دولة الإمارات، أبوظبي 29 أغسطس 2026: أُقيمت البطولة الدولية للكلاب ضمن فعاليات معرض أبوظبي الدولي للصيد والفروسية 2026. ويواصل المعرض، الذي تنظمه مجموعة "أدنيك"، إحدى شركات "مُدن"، بشراكة استراتيجية مع نادي صقاري الإمارات، ترسيخ مكانة أبوظبي وجهةً عالمية رائدة في الصيد والفروسية والصقارة والتراث الثقافي.
واستمتع زوار المعرض باستعراض مميز لنخبة من سلالات الكلاب ضمن بطولة الاتحاد العالمي للكلاب ونادي الإمارات للكلاب، التي أقيمت في ساحة العروض الحية بالمعرض، لتستقطب ملاك الكلاب ومربيها ومدربيها من دولة الإمارات ومختلف أنحاء العالم، ووفرت منصة لعرض مجموعة متنوعة وواسعة من السلالات التي تنافست وفق معايير تحكيم معترف بها دولياً.
وشهد الزوار على امتداد منافسات البطولة عروضاً احترافية لتقديم الكلاب أمام لجنة التحكيم، إلى جانب تقييم السلالات بإشراف أولغا غوردين من مولدوفا، الحكمة الدولية البارزة في الاتحاد العالمي للكلاب، والمعتمدة لتحكيم عروض الكلاب لجميع السلالات.
وعُرضت الكلاب المشاركة أمام لجنة التحكيم، وجرى تقييمها وفق المعايير الدولية المعتمدة لكافة السلالات بما يشمل؛ البنية الجسدية والتناسق والمظهر العام ومدى مطابقة الكلب للخصائص المميزة لسلالته. وتنافس المشاركون على المراكز والجوائز الأولى استناداً إلى هذه المعايير، بما أبرز جودة المشاركات وتنوع السلالات في البطولة.
واختُتمت البطولة بالإعلان عن الفائزين بجوائز "الأفضل في العرض"، تكريماً لأبرز الكلاب المشاركة في المنافسات، حيث فاز كلب أسود من سلالة "شناوتزر المصغّر" بالمركز الأول، تلاه "كافتانز فا بنسييرو" في المركز الثاني، فيما حل كلب من سلالة "بوردر كولي" في المركز الثالث. وجاء كلب "شيواوا طويل الشعر" في المركز الرابع، بينما حل كلب "أمريكان بولي إكس إل" في المركز الخامس.
واستقطبت البطولة، باعتبارها إحدى أبرز فعاليات ساحة العروض الحية، أعداداً كبيرة من الزوار، وأسهمت في إثراء الأجواء الحيوية التي يشهدها معرض أبوظبي الدولي للصيد والفروسية 2026. وشكلت بطولة الاتحاد العالمي للكلاب ونادي الإمارات للكلاب جزءاً من البرنامج الحافل للمعرض، الذي يضم مجموعة واسعة من المسابقات والاستعراضات والعروض الحية، مقدمةً للزوار تجربة تفاعلية احتفت بالتميز في مجالات تربية الكلاب وتدريبها والتعامل معها.
