Dhs 65 million Expansion for Commercial Center in Madinat Zayed
Dubai, United Arab Emirates - August 10, 2015 (ME NewsWire)- The City Mall in Madinat Zayed, the Western Region of Abu Dhabi, is undergoing additional expansions worth Dhs 65 million in order to meet the needs of the consumers and the public. The expansions are expected to include more than 100 stores and span 16,400 square meters.
The new center will encompass several commercial and service activities to fulfill the needs of the residents in the Western Region, and to contribute to the distribution of international and local commercial centers in Madinat Zayed by allocating spaces for their branches in the City Mall.
Mr. Mohammed Al Falahi, Chairman of the Al Falahi Group Company, explained that the company has prepared special designs for the new center after expanding it to include more than 100 shops for various companies, retailers, and local and international brands. “The center will bring added-value to the residents in the Western Region, as this is the first comprehensive commercial and entertainment center in Madinat Zayed and a popular destination for families and individuals in the region,” he said. “Currently more than 50 percent of the mall space is already reserved, with negotiations underway with some of the most well-known international companies and brands to open branches and provide their services to the residents of the Western Region.” According to Al Falahi, in addition to the retail shops, restaurants, a kids’ play area, and service companies; the mall will also include a cinema complex with six screens, making it the first cinema complex in the Western Region. Al Falahi stressed that the Western Region is considered as an attractive area for investment and is a source for investors and businessmen due to its facilities and comprehensive progress in various sectors and areas.
