The 9th International Defense Exhibition (IDEX 2015), the region's premier international defense event from (February 22, 2015) in Abu Dhabi. The Russian pavilion, which is organized by the State Corporation, Rostec, features more than 700 weapons systems and military equipment for the army, air force, naval forces and air defense command. Items on exhibit include: an enhanced version of the T-90S tank from Uralvagonzavod, a combat vehicle for platoon commander equipped with the anti-tank missile system, «Khrizantema-S» and an ADS amphibious assault rifle capable of operating in both air and water environments, which is produced by NPO Precision Complexes, part of Rostec. The exhibition will run until February 26 and is expected to be visited by delegations from more than 70 countries.
IDEX, which is the most prestigious and largest exhibition of defense achievements in the world, features the latest and the most modern arms and military equipment. This year’s event will feature hosted pavilions from Abu Dhabi: Russia, UAE, USA, UK, Germany, France, China, Italy, South Africa, Switzerland, Canada, Austria, Turkey, Bulgaria, Finland, Spain, Sweden and Belgium. More than 1,000 international companies are showcasing their products in the expo, which is expected to be visited by more than 70 official delegations during its five-day run. State Corporation Rostec is the organizer of the Russian Pavilion at IDEX-2015. The head of the Russian delegation is Denis Manturov, the Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia.
“IDEX is one of the biggest events and the largest modern venue for Russia to showcase the dynamics of its best defense products at land-based and water-based test ranges. Rostec is already implementing a number of civilian projects in the UAE and now new opportunities are arising for mutually beneficial cooperation in the defense field,” said Sergey Chemezov, General Director, Rostec Corporation. ”The corporation is entering a major new market while expanding its presence in a strategically important region. This year, our manufacturing companies are interested in talks with representatives of countries with potentially open markets for us such as Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Lebanon, Angola, Algeria, Egypt, Nigeria, Morocco and Uganda.”
Russian manufacturers are featuring more than 700 of its newest high-precision weapons systems at the expo. The centerpiece of the NPO Precision Complexes stand is a versatile machine gun, the ADS amphibious assault rifle, which can equally accurately hit targets under water and in the air. This weapon is capable to shoot with 5,45x39 mm rounds and 40-mm rounds fired from a grenade launcher, which is located under the barrel. The gun’s modes can be easily switched between ‘water’ and ‘air’ by a gas regulator. In addition, for the first time in Russia's history, fired cartridge extracts forward in a receiver, which reduces gas pollution in the face of the shooter and eliminates the risk of injury from a flying shell when operating in groups. The gun has some composite materials, which reduce its weight and at the same time increase its resistance to corrosion.
Among Precision Complexes’ featured products, especially interesting is a self-propelled anti-tank combat vehicle called «Khrizantema-S». The company will be showing an actual unit for the first time at the expo. «Khrizantema-S» is the world's only anti-tank missile system that can detect and destroy targets without optical visibility in smoke, fog and snowfall at any time of the day due to its radar and optical laser channels. Simultaneous operation of two channels allows the system to trace two targets and launch rockets automatically. A unit consisting of three «Khrizantema-S» combat vehicles are capable to resist an attack of a tank company of 14 tanks, destroying at least 60 per cent of the advancing tanks, as well as capable of striking engineering structures, low-flying low-speed air targets, boats and tonnage ships and enemy personnel at a distance of six kilometers.
For the first time in public, an export version of combat gear for the Russian army will be presented by TSNIITOCHMASH, part of Rostec. Besides the clothing, the gear features about 60 various items for the soldier, which includes small arms, aiming and protection gear, electronic means of communication and navigation. The gear control and communication is based on Sagittarius (Strelets) system of intelligence, control and communications. Special armor plates for the flak jacket allow it to withstand up to 10 hits of armor-piercing incendiary bullets fired from a SVD sniper rifle at a distance of 10 meters. The modular character of the gear allows the creation of a set of equipment for any customer, including foreign platforms.
As part of the IDEX expo, exhibitors have the unique opportunity to showcase weapons and military equipment not only at a static display, but also in action at a demo test site. In an environment simulating the conditions of real-life fighting, manufacturers can demonstrate the potential of military equipment in overcoming water barriers and uneven terrain. Testing of boats and amphibious units will be held at a canal specified by the event organizers.

تشهد فعاليات النسخة الثانية عشرة من معرض ومؤتمر الدفاع الدولي "آيدكس 2015"، المستمر لغاية 26 فبراير/شباط الجاري، إقبالاً كبيراً من الخبراء والمتخصّصين من أكثر من 70 دولة حول العالم. وتتميّز دورة العام بمشاركة روسية واسعة حيث يعرض الجناح الروسي بإدارة شركة "روستيك" الحكومية الروسية أكثر من 700 من أنظمة الأسلحة والمعدّات العسكرية المستخدمة لدى القوات البريّة والبحرية والجوية الروسية، بما في ذلك دبابة "تي- 90 إس" (T-90S) المحدّثة من صنع شركة "أورالفاغونزافود" (Uralvagonzavod) وهي عبارة عن دبابّة قتالية رئيسية مجهّزة بنظام صواريخ مضاد للدبابات، ومركبة "خريزانتيما – إس" (Khrizantema-S) وبندقية "إيه. دي. إس" (ADS) البرمائية من صنع شركة "أن. بيه. أو. بريسيجن كومبليكسس" (NPO Precision Complexes).
ويتخلّل معرض "آيدكس" الذي يعدّ أكبر معارض الدفاع في العالم، إستعراض أحدث الأسلحة والمعدّات العسكرية المتطوّرة، وذلك عبر الأجنحة الوطنية المتعدّدة المشاركة في المعرض من دول روسيا والإمارات والولايات المتّحدة الأمريكية والمملكة المتّحدة وألمانيا وفرنسا والصين وإيطاليا وجنوب أفريقيا وسويسرا وكندا والنمسا وتركيا وبلغاريا وفنلندا وإسبانيا والسويد وبلجيكا. ويشارك أكثر من 1000 شركة متخصّصة عالمية لاستعراض أحدث منتجاتها وخدماتها في المعرض الذي من المتوقّع أن يستقبل ما يزيد على 70 وفوداً رسمياً على مدار أيام المعرض الخمسة، بما فيها الوفد الروسي برئاسة معالي دينيس مانتوروف، وزير الصناعة والتجارة في روسيا.
وقال سيرجي شيميزوف، المدير العام لشركة "روستيك": "يشكّل "آيدكس" أحد أضخم الفعاليات وأكبر منصّات العرض التي تتيح لروسيا تسليط الضوء على أفضل منتجاتها الدفاعية البريّة والبحريّة. وبدورها، تقوم "روستك" التي دخلت السوق الإماراتية حديثاً، وتسعى لترسيخ مكانتها في هذه المنطقة الإستراتيجية، حالياً بتنفيذ عدد من المشاريع المدنيّة في دولة الإمارات وتتطلّع للإستفادة من فرص التعاون الناشئة في مجال الدفاع في الدولة والتي من شأنها أن تعود بالمنفعة على كِلا الطرفين. ونلحظ أن شركات التصنيع الروسية المشارِكة في المعرض هذا العام تولي إهتماماً كبيراً لتعزيز العلاقات والتواصل البنّاء مع ممثلين من أسواق جديدة محتملة مثل العراق والمملكة العربية السعودية والسودان والكويت والبحرين ولبنان وأنغولا والجزائر ومصر ونيجيريا والمغرب وأوغندا".
وكشف المصنعّون الروس الكشف عن أكثر من 730 من أنظمة الأسلحة عالية الدقّة خلال المعرض، أهمّها البندقية البرمائية "إيه. دي. إس" التي يتم عرضها ضمن منصة "أن. بيه. أو. بريسيجن كومبليكسس" وهي عبارة عن مدفعٍ رشاش متعدّد الإستعمالات لديه القدرة على إصابة الهدف بدقّة فائقة وبالكفاءة نفسها سواء تحت الماء أو في الهواء. ويستخدم هذا السلاح طلقات من عيار 5,45x39 مم بالإضافة إلى قذائف بقطر 40 مم يتم إطلاقها بواسطة قاذف قنابل مثبّت تحت السّبطانة. وتتّسم هذه البندقية أيضاً بسهولة التحويل بين "الوسط المائي" و"الوسط الهوائي" من خلال منظّم ضغط الغاز. كما تتميّز هذه البندقية، ولأوّل مرّة في تاريخ الأسلحة الروسية، بأنّه يتم قذف الطلقات الفارغة إلى الأمام، مما يقلّل من كمية الغازات المنبعثة أمام وجه الرامي ويقلّل من خطر إصابة زملائه بالطلقات الفارغة. وتتكوّن هذه البندقية من مواد مركّبة ومبتكرة للمساعدة في التقليل من وزن البندقية وتعزيز مقاومتها للصدأ والتآكل.
ومن بين المنتجات المميّزة الأخرى التي تعرضها شركة "أن. بيه. أو." هي مركبة "خريزانتيما – إس" التي سيتم عرضها لأوّل مرّة خلال المعرض. و"خريزانتيما – إس" عبارة عن مركبة قتالية ذاتية الدفع ومزوّدة بالنظام الصاروخي المضاد للدبابات الوحيد من نوعه في العالم والذي يمكنه تحديد الأهداف وتدميرها في البيئات غير واضحة الرؤية مثل الدخان والضباب وعند تساقط الثلوج وفي أي وقت من اليوم وذلك من خلال الرادار وقنوات الليزر الضوئية المثبّتة في المركبة. وتتميّز هذه الوحدة بأنّه يمكن تشغيل قناتي ليزر في آنً معاً لتتبع هدفين وإطلاق الصواريخ تلقائياً. ويمكن لأي أسطولٍ مؤلّفٍ من ثلاث مركبات قتالية من طراز "خريزانتيما – إس" أن يتصدّى لهجوم أسطول يضم 14 دبابة وتدمير على الأقل 60٪ منها، بالإضافة إلى القدرة على ضرب المنشآت الهندسية والأهداف الجوية المحلّقة على إرتفاعٍ منخفض أو بسرعات منخفضة، وتدمير القوارب وسفن الشحن والوحدات الأخرى من على بعد 6 كيلومترات.
ويشهد "أيدكس 2015" أيضاً إستعراض النسخة المصدّرة من عتاد الجيش الروسي والتي يتم عرضها أمام الجمهور للمرّة الأولى في العالم، وذلك عبر منصة المعهد الروسي المركزي لصناعة الآلات الدقيقة (TSNIITOCHMASH). وإلى جانب الملابس العسكرية، يضم العتاد حوالى 60 من المعدّات المخصّصة للجنود كالأسلحة الخفيفة ومعدّات التصويب والحماية ووسائل الإتّصال الإلكترونية والملاحة. ويستند العتاد إلى نظام "ساجيتاريوس" (ستريليتس) للإستخبارات والتحكّم والإتّصالات. وتسمح صفائح الدروع الخاصة بالسترة الواقية من الرصاص باستيعاب عشر طلقات من الرصاص الحارق الخارق للدروع والمستخدمة في بندقيات القنص "إس. في. دي" (SVD) على مسافة عشر أمتار. ويتميّز هذا العتاد بأنّه يمكن تصميمه خصيصاً وفق متطلّبات العملاء، بما في ذلك الأجانب.
ويكتسب معرض "آيدكس 2015" أهميةً خاصةً حيث لا يتيح للعارضين فرصة إستعراض الأسلحة والمعدّات العسكرية فحسب، بل يمكنهم أيضاً تجربتها بشكل حي في مواقع الإختبار المخصّصة ضمن المعرض، بما يتيح للشركات المصنّعة إبراز إمكانات معدّاتها العسكرية في التفوّق على الحواجز المائية والمناطق الوعرة كما في المواقع الحربية الحقيقية، بالإضافة إلى إختبار القوارب والوحدات البرمائية في قناة خاصّة تم تصميمها بطلبٍ من منظّم الحدث.
