The
Minister of Communications and Information Technology Atef Helmy
received today in his office at Smart Village the Vice President of
Huawei Technologies Ding Shaohua, in the presence of the Chief
Executive Officer
of
the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA)
Hussein El-Gueretly and Huawei - Egypt Country Manger Yang Tao.
During
the meeting, the company’s investments in Egypt, real opportunities
raised by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology
(MCIT) and Huawei’s plan to expand its investments in the Egyptian
market during the coming period were discussed.
Helmy
praised the positive position of Huawei expanding in the Egyptian
market during the past period, its contribution at providing job
opportunities for youth and expansion in specialized training, thus
improving the efficiency of the Egyptian youth through specialized
ICT training centers, therefore, raising competitiveness locally and
internationally.
He
also welcomed the future plans of the company to raise investments in
Egypt relying on the Egyptian high-qualified youth. Helmy called on
Huawei to participate in implementing the broadband strategy and
multiplying the number of youth trainees as well as participating in
ICT projects implementation in Suez Canal Axis.
He
also called on the company’s training centers to penetrate
innovation fields and support concepts of entrepreneurship, in
cooperation with the Nile University and the Technology Innovation
and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) affiliated to the Information
Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA).
He
underlined the fact that Egypt has thousands of young talents with
distinguished ideas and solutions for society challenges. For his
part, Ding said that Huawei stood side by side with Egypt pointing
out to the national ICT strategy 2013- 2017 through which the
Minister moved with persistence out of a deep belief in pushing the
industry in Egypt.
He
added that the transitional phase that Egypt had been going through
was marked by challenges, but Huawei always believed that challenges
come with opportunities. He explained that the company was committed
to investment in Egypt and incessantly contributing to the Egyptian
society in ICT, and supporting the development of the industry under
an optimistic vision of Egypt’s future in this field; and that
Huaweiwas ready to participate in supporting the new strategy.
Global
Huawei considers Egypt a regional center for their customers, where
the main headquarters in North Africa was established in Egypt
serving 22 countries side by side with the regional Network Operation
Center (NOC) in order to support the stability and security of
customer’s networks and commercial activities.
This
is in addition to establishing the regional Technical Assistance
Center (TAC) to answer the needs of its customers, as well as the
Global Resource Service Center (GSRC) to support main projects in the
region. Huawei has been in Egypt for 15 years during which it has
provided distinguished training to around 5000 specialized trainees
through its Regional Training Center
(RTC).
Moreover,
Huawei plans to provide more training opportunities to students and
fresh graduates, customers and partners in the coming five years.
This is in addition to presenting consulting services in
telecommunications. Huawei Authorized Network Academy (HANA) was
inaugurated in the National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) in
Smart Village last year.
The
company also launched, in the beginning of 2014, Huawei Authorized
Learning Partners (HALP) for training on latest technologies in
communications in cooperation with NTI in Nasr City.

فرص استماراتها
استقبل
المهندس عاطف حلمي وزير الاتصالات

هواوي العالمية، وحضر اللقاء المهندس
حسين الجريتلى رئيس مجلس إدارة هيئة تنمية
صناعة تكنولوجيا المعلومات “ايتيدا”،
وويانج تاو مدير عام هواوي مصر حيث تم
خلال اللقاء استعراض استثمارات الشركة
في مصر، والفرص الحقيقية التي تطرحها
وزارة الاتصالات لجذب الاستثمارات
الأجنبية، بالإضافة إلى خطة شركة هواوى
العالمية للتوسع في استثماراتها في السوق
المصري خلال الفترة القادمة.
خلال
اللقاء أشاد المهندس عاطف حلمي بالموقف
الايجابي لشركة هواوي العالمية وتوسعاتها
في السوق المصري خلال الفترة الماضية،
ومساهمتها الفعالة في توفير المئات من
فرص العمل المتميزة للشباب المصري،
والتوسع في مجالات التدريب المتخصصة،
ورفع كفاءة ومهارات الشباب المصري من
خلال إنشاء مراكز تدريب متخصصة في مجالات
الاتصالات وتكنولوجيا المعلومات لمساعدته
على المنافسة محليا وعالمياً، مرحبا في
الوقت نفسه بالخطط المستقبلية لشركة
هواوى وقرارها زيادة استثماراتها وتوسعها
في مصر، مستعينة في ذلك بالشباب المصري
المؤهل على أعلى مستوى في هذا المجال.
ودعا
المهندس عاطف حلمي هواوي، إلى المشاركة
في تنفيذ إستراتيجية الانترنت فائق السرعة
“البرودباند”، ومضاعفة أعداد المتدربين
من شباب مصر لتلبية متطلبات المرحلة،
والمشاركة في تنفيذ مشروعات الاتصالات
وتكنولوجيا المعلومات بمشروع محور قناة
السويس، كما دعا الوزير المراكز المتخصصة
لشركة هواوي في مصر إلى الدخول في مجالات
الإبداع التكنولوجي ودعم مفاهيم ريادة
الأعمال، وذلك بالتعاون مع جامعة النيل
ومركز الإبداع التكنولوجي وريادة الأعمال
التابع لهيئة تنمية صناعة تكنولوجيا
المعلومات “ايتيدا”، مضيفاً أن مصر
لديها الآلاف من الشباب المبدع الذي يملك
الأفكار الإبتكارية المتميزة التي لديها
الحلول التقنية للمشكلات والتحديات التي
تواجه المجتمع.
من
جانبه صرح دينغ أن شركة هواوي تقف جنبا
إلى جنب مع مصر، وقال:
“الخطة
الإستراتيجية التي أعلنتها وزارة الاتصالات
وتكنولوجيا المعلومات 2013-2017
يتحرك
من خلالها السيد وزير الاتصالات بإصرار
مع إيمان قوي بدفع وتطوير هذه الصناعة في
مصر، مضيفاً أن الفترة الانتقالية التي
تمر بها مصر تنطوي على العديد من التحديات،
ولكن هواوي العالمية تعتقد أن التحديات
تأتي دائما مع الفرص، ونحن ملتزمون بمواصلة
الاستثمار في مصر والمساهمة في المجتمع
المصري بشكل مستمر في مجال تكنولوجيا
المعلومات والاتصالات، والمساهمة بقوة
في مساندة وتطوير هذه الصناعة ولدينا
رؤية متفائلة لمستقبل مصر في هذا المجال،
وان هواوي على استعداد للمشاركة في دعم
وتنفيذ هذه الإستراتيجية الجديدة”.
جدير
بالذكر أن هواوي العالمية تعتبر مصر مركزا
إقليميا لها في المنطقة لخدمة عملائها،
حيث أنشأت المقر الرئيسي لها بشمال أفريقيا
في مصر، وهو يخدم نحو 22
بلدا
في المنطقة، وذلك جنبا إلى جنب مع مركز
تشغيل الشبكة الإقليمية (NOC)،
وذلك بهدف دعم استقرار وأمن شبكات العملاء
والأنشطة التجارية، بالإضافة إلى إنشاء
مركز المساعدة الفنية الإقليمي (TAC)
الذي
يلبي جميع طلبات عملاء الشركة.
كما
أنشأت الشركة مركزها الإقليمي (GSRC)
لدعم
المشاريع الرئيسية في جميع أنحاء المنطقة.
وتعمل
شركة هواوي العالمية في السوق المصري منذ
15
عام
وفرت خلالها التدريب المتميز إلى ما يقرب
من 5000
متدرب
متخصص، من خلال مركز التدريب الإقليمي
(RTC)،
علاوة على ذلك فان هواوي تخطط لتوفير
المزيد من فرص التدريب للطلاب والخريجين
الجدد، والعملاء، والشركاء في الــ 5
سنوات
المقبلة، فضلا عن تقديم الشركة للخدمات
الاستشارية في مجالات الاتصالات السلكية
واللاسلكية المختلفة.
كما
دشنت الشركة “أكاديمية هواوى للشبكات
المعتمدة “HANA”
بمقر
المعهد القومي للاتصالات بالقرية الذكية
العام الماضي، كما أطلقت الشركة أوائل
العام الجاري معمل هواوي “HALP”
للتدريب
على أحدث التقنيات في مجال الاتصالات
بالتعاون مع المعهد القومي للاتصالات
بمدينة نصر.
