Al Tayyar Travel Group Holding has announced the signing of the acquisition agreement with British company CTM. The deal authorizes the Group to a 100% shareholding in CTM. The agreement was signed on 27th May 2014 by the fully owned by Al Tayyar Travel Group Mawasem Travel and Tourism Company and the owners of CTM.
The value of the deal amounted to GBP 13.5 million equivalent to SR 85 million. The deal was funded from the revenues of the company and all necessary legal procedures to finalize the deal will be completed accordingly.
Remarking on the occasion, Dr. Nasser Al Tayyar, Deputy Chairman & President of Al Tayyar Travel Group said, With our recent acquisition of Thomas Cook's UK luxury travel tour operating entity, Elegant Resorts, earlier this year and this addition to business in the EU markets, we have a greater opportunity to accelerate the current momentum across the travel industry, provide distinguished services for our customers an magnify returns for all stakeholders.”
With this Acquisition, Al Tayyar Travel Group aims at expanding the scope of its business in EU countries to provide distinguished services to the clients traveling to the region. The financial revenues from this deal are expected to begin in the third quarter of the year 2014.
CTM Company is considered one of the top ranking travel and tourism companies in UK providing rail, road and air transportation services. The company is also involved in conferences management and hotel accommodation services in Britain, Ireland and Scotland.
The sales of CTM Company in 2013 amounted to GBP 130 million, equivalent to SR 825 million. The total workforce includes 207 employees spread across 15 branches in Britain, Ireland and Scotland.

أعلنت
شركة "مجموعة الطيار للسفر القابضة" عن توقيع اتفاقية استحواذ على نسبة
100% من أسهم الشركة البريطانية( سي تي إم) بقيمة إجمالية تبلغ 85 مليون
ريال سعودى ، أي ما يعادل تقريبا (13.5 مليون جنيه استرلينى).
وقال نائب
رئيس مجلس الإدارة، والعضو المنتدب لمجموعة "الطيار للسفر القابضة"،
الدكتور ناصر بن عقيل الطيار:" الاتفاقية تم توقيعها بين شركة مواسم
للسياحة والسفر ببريطانيا والمملوكة بالكامل لمجموعة الطيار وملاك شركة (سي
تي إم )، مشيرا إلى أن المستشار المالي هو "ديلويت" بريطانيا، وأن
الهدف من الاستحواذ هو توسيع شبكة أعمال" مجموعة الطيار للسفر " في دول
الاتحاد الأوروبي لخدمة عملائها المتجهين لتلك الدول، وبين "د. الطيار" أنه
تم تمويل الصفقة من موارد الشركة الذاتية، مشيرا إلى أنه سيتم اتخاذ كافة
الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة لاستكمال الاستحواذ على الشركة. وتوقع أن يبدأ
الأثر المالي لهذه الصفقة اعتباراً من الربع الثالث من عام 2014م. واوضح
أن صافي الربح للشركة للسنة المالية المنتهية في 30 سبتمبر 2013، بلغ حوالي
2.5 مليون جنيه أسترليني أي ما يعادل حوالي 16 مليون ريال سعودي

السفر وخدمات تذاكر سكك الحديد وخدمات النقل الجوية والأرضية وتنظيم

بلغت مبيعات الشركة خلال العام الماضي 130 مليون جنيه إسترليني أي ما يعادل
825 مليون ريال سعودي.
