Takes part in Cairo ICT 2013
Cairo – Egypt – December 18th,
2013: Huawei Egypt, a leading global information and communications
technology (ICT) solutions provider participated as Gold sponsor in the 2013
Cairo ICT exhibition affirming its commitment
and contribution to the ICT development and transfer of new technologies to the Egyptian
market.
The exhibition took place in Cairo's
international Conference Center from December 9th till
the 12th under the auspices patronage of H.E the Minister of communications
& Information Eng. Atef Helmy.
The main objective of the exhibition
was “ Building Bridges “ between Egypt a, Arab
& African Region , with new discussed topics such as, The future of
investment in Egypt, Implementation of the digital society in Egypt and
Developing Egypt’s IT industry
During the official opening of the
exhibition; Huawei’s Egypt Country Manager, Mr. Yangtao,
and Huawei’s North Africa Vice president Mr. Cao Jipin welcomed H.E Eng.Atef
Helmy MCIT Minister, H.E Hany Mahmoud and
Huawei’s customers, at Huawei booth where they watched ademonstration its end to end ICT
solutions.
“Egypt has announced the first stage of
NBB and we believe that Huawei has good experience in this area. We are
fully aware of Huawei contributions. We welcome the international companies
& willing for any support” H.E Eng. Atef Helmy stated during his visit at
Huawei booth.
During Cairo ICT, Huawei also presented
a variety of devices that were launched during 2012 the Ascend
P1, with a high-performance software to help users manage their
communication and social networking activities more effectively. After the
success of the Ascend P1 launch, Huawei introduced the slimmest smart phone
Ascend P6 I early this year which is a star among smart phones with its
industry-leading design. Huawei Devices
arranged a raffle draw during the exhibition and two winners were announced.
The two winners won the latest Huawei smart phone, Ascend P6. Huawei’s Egypt
Device Manager, Mr. Liurongqun handed the devices to the winners. Huawei also showcased a range of
new products offering a blend of style and portability that wil be
introduced and launched in the Egyptian Market very soon.
During the
exhibition, Mr. Costas Strigaris, Huawei’s North Africa Enterprise Solutions
Director
presented Huawei’s vision for E- Education. Huawei shared insights, success
stories on Huawei E-education projects word wide During Citizen
Centric enabling technologies for Education session which was attended by
H.E Eng. Atef Helmy MCIT Minister & H.E Dr. Mahmoud Abou El Nasr Education Minister He
said: “E –learning is a big puzzle each international company sitting in this
panel is a cube of the puzzle my advice to MCIT Minister is to put all of us in
a room & get all the operators to the same closed room & never open the
door till we figure out & solve it”
“Broadband helps to take people to
higher level of development. Despite the high demand for broadband, the supply
can’t meet it so far in Egypt. Government is usually the anchor customer for
broadband to help operators to have a viable business case.” Said Mr. Paul

Huawei was one of the sponsors of the
National Broadband Network Forum held in May 2013, one of the marginal
proceedings of Cairo ICT 2013 fair. Through its distinguished participation,
Huawei presented its vision of the next generation of the national broadband
networks, in addition to global trends, business aspects and other global
aspects which reflected Huawei’s dedication and keenness, to support the CIT
industry development and the implementation of the National Broadband in Egypt.
Huawei focuses on
helping and advancing the ICT industry in Egypt by providing the latest
technologies, services and business transformation programs to operators,
business partners and the government. Huawei believes that there will always be
an open channel for partnerships, business development and community reforms
all working together for a better ICT future in Egypt.
هواوي تشارك في معرض
القاهره لتكنولوجيا المعلومات والإتصالات Cairo ICT
هواوي تؤكد على إيمانها القوي و ثقتها بالسوق المصري .
القاهرة – مصر – 18 ديسمبر 2013: هواوي الشركة الرائدة في مجال تقديم حلول
تكنولوجيا المعلومات و الإتصالات شاركت بمعرض Cairo ICT كراعي ذهبي تأكيداً على إلتزامها و مشاركتها بعملية تطوير صناعة تكنولوجيا
المعلومات و الإتصالات بمصر من خلال نقل أحدث ما توصلت إليه التكنولوجيا إلى السوق
المصريه.
أقيم المعرض بمركز القاهره الدولي للمؤتمرات من يوم
التاسع إلى الثاني عشر من ديسمبر تحت رعاية و إشراف معالي وزير الإتصالات المهندس
عاطف حلمي.
الهدف الرئيسي من المعرض هو "بناء الجسور"
للربط بين مصر و المنطقة العربيه و الأفريقية كما أنه تم مناقشة بعض المواضيع منها
مستقبل الإستثمار في مصر و تطبيق فكره المجتمع الرقمي و تطوير صناعة تكنولوجيا
المعلومات في مصر.
أثناء الإفتتاح الرسمي
للمعرض ؛ رحب كل من السيد Yangtao يانج تاو مدير هواوي مصر و السيد روبنسون تساو جيبين Cao Jipin نائب مدير هواوي بمنطقة شمال
أفريقيا بمعالي الوزير المهندس عاطف حلمي وزير الإتصالات و تكنولوجيا المعلومات
المصري كما رحبا بالسيد هاني محمود و كافة عملاء هواوي و ذلك في جناح هواوي
بالمعرض حيث تم عرض حلول هواوي المتكامله.

عاطف حلمي أثناء زيارته لمقر هواوي بالمعرض " أعلنت مصر
عن تنفيذ المرحلة الإستكشافية لمشروع النطاق العريض و نحن
نؤمن بأن شركة هواوي لديها خبره كبيره في هذا المجال و نحن على علم تام بمشاركات
هواوي و مساهماتها كما أننا نرحب بالشركات العالمية و على أتم الإستعداد لتقديم
الدعم اللازم للتوسع في إستثماراتها بمصر ."
عرضت هواوي
مجموعة من الأجهزة التي قامت بإصدارها خلال عام 2012 مثل Ascend PP1 الذي يتميز
ببرمجياته الفائقة السرعة التي تمكن المستخدمين من إجراء إتصالاتهم و مزاولة أنشطتهم
من خلال مواقع التواصل الإجتماعي بصورة أكثر إحترافية و سرعة غير مسبوقه. بعد
النجاح الذي حققه جهاز Ascend P1 قامت هواوي
بتقديم هاتفها الأنيق Ascend P6 في بداية
هذا العام و الذ ي يعد من ابرز الهواتف النقاله و ذلك يرجع إلى تصميمه
الفريد. نظم قسم Huawei Devices سحب أثناء المعرض و تم الإعلان عن فائزين.حيث فازكل
منهما بأحدث أجهزة هواوي الذكيه ,Ascend P6. قام السيد
Liurongqun مدير قسم Huawei Device بمصر بتسليم الفائزين جوائزهم.كما قامت هواوي بعرض
مجموعه جديده من الأجهزه النقاله ذات التصميم الفريد و التي سيتم تقديمها و عرضها
بالأسواق المصرية قريباً.

النظر مع نظرائها في القطاع , و شرح مشاريع التعليم الإلكتروني الناجحه التي قامت
بتنفيذها على مستوى العالم و ذلك من خلال محاضرة تم إلقائها أثناء معرض Cairo ICT و التي قام
بحضورها معالي وزير الإتصالات المهندس عاطف حلمي و معالي السيد وزير التعليم
الدكتور محمود أبو النصر حيث علق "التعليم الإلكتروني يعدد لغز كبير كل شركة
متواجده اليوم في المعرض تعدجزء من حل هذا
اللغز و نصيحتي لوزير الإتصالات و تكنولوجيا المعلومات أن يجمعنا كلنا في مكان و
احده و أن يحضر كل مشغلي خدمات المحمول في نفس الحجره و عدم السماح بفتح الباب إلا
بعد التوصل لحل مرضي لجميع الأطراف."

الذي تم عقده في مايو 2013 .من خلال مشاركتها الفعاله ,شرحت هواوي رؤيتها الخاصه
بالجيل القادم من تكنولوجيا شبكات NBB بالإضافه إلى مناقشة الإتجاهات العالمية في
هذا المجال ,و النواحي التجارية و العالمية التي تعكس مدى إهتمام هواوي و حرصها
على تطوير و تنفيذ شبكات الNational Broadband في مصر.
