Canon Middle East, world-leader
in imaging solutions, today launches the imageFORMULA CR-190i UV cheque scanner
with the capability to capture UV ink. The new device gives retailers, banks
and financial institutions the ability to identify fraudulent documents and ensure
payments are processed with greater security.
The
new imageFORMULA CR-190i UV is equipped with both a traditional RGB light
source and a UV light source. It captures standard and UV images, such as
company logos or other proofs of authenticity printed with UV inks, in a single
pass to help avoid counterfeit cheques being processed. The imageFORMULA
CR-190i UV also improves fraud detection by helping to detect if any details or
sensitive areas of a cheque have been tampered with. This can equally be applied
to the processing of vouchers and coupons, where cheque scanners are often
used.

Extending
Canon’s range of cheque scanners, the new CR-190i UV is one of the fastest
compact cheque scanners on the market processing up to 190 cheques per minute
(160cpm in UV scan mode). The CR-190i UV includes innovative document handling
technology and advanced image processing tools for accurate and efficient
scanning.
The
existing imageFORMULA CR-190i cheque scanner will continue to be available
alongside the new CR-190i UV and both models include Scanning Utility software
and a Ranger driver. Also included are ISIS and TWAIN drivers which allow
organisations to use the devices across a broad range of scanning applications.
Various software development kits are available on Canon’s cheque scanners enabling
solution providers to create customised scanning applications for their
customers.

تشمل ماسحة imageFORMULA CR-190i UV الجديدة مصدر ضوء ثلاثي الألوانRGB
تقليدي ومصدر ضوء بالأشعة فوق البنفسجية. فتلتقط الصور القياسية والصور
بالأشعة فوق البنفسجية، مثل شعارات الشركات أو علامات أخرى تدلّ على
مصداقية الصور المطبوعة بالحبر بالأشعة فوق البنفسجية، وذلك عبر تمرير
الورقة مرة واحدة بهدف كشف الشيكات المزوّرة. ويحسّن جهاز imageFORMULA CR-190i UV
أيضاً عملية كشف الاحتيالات من خلال كشف أي تفاصيل أو مناطق حساسة في
الشيك تمّ التلاعب بها. ويمكن تطبيق ذلك على القسائم والكوبونات، إذ
تُستخدم عادة ماسحات الشيكات للتأكّد منها.

مع ماسحة CR-190i UV
الجديدة، تتوسّع مجموعة ماسحات الشيكات من كانون، فهي من أسرع ماسحات
الشيكات الصغيرة في السوق، إذ تعالج حتّى 190 شيكاً في الدقيقة الواحدة
(160 شيكاً في الدقيقة في نمط مسح الأشعة فوق البنفسجية). وتشمل CR-190i UV تكنولوجيا مناولة المستندات المبتكرة وأدوات معالجة الصور المتطورة لتأمين مسح دقيق وكفوء.
وستبقى ماسحة الشيكات الحالية imageFORMULA CR-190i في الأسواق إلى جانب ماسحة CR-190i UV الجديدة، ويشمل الطرازان برنامج Scanning Utility وسوّاقة Ranger، إلى جانب سوّاقتَي ISIS و TWAINاللتين
تسمحان للمؤسسات باستخدام الأجهزة لمجموعة واسعة من تطبيقات المسح. وتعرض
كانون برمجيات تطوير لماسحات الشيكات، فتسمح بذلك لمزوّدي الحلول بابتكار
