Ongoing preparations for the sixth edition of the ‘World's Coolest Winter’ campaign and strengthened tourism cooperation with Oman discussed

The Emirates Tourism Council held its fourth meeting of 2025, chaired by H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Tourism. The meeting was attended by the heads and directors general of the country’s local tourism entities, alongside representatives from the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre. Participants reviewed a range of new tourism projects scheduled for implementation in 2026 as part of efforts to enhance the sector’s growth and competitiveness. Participants also followed up on the progress of recommendations and outcomes from the previous meeting.

 

H.E. Bin Touq affirmed that the UAE has placed significant focus on developing the tourism sector as a key pillar of national economic growth. The country has implemented sustainable policies, strategies and projects in this vital sector, offering outstanding and unique tourism experiences for visitors from around the world and achieving major milestones that have reinforced the UAE’s leadership among regional and global destinations.

 

H.E. said: “The Council’s new tourism projects and initiatives represent a significant milestone in enhancing the growth and competitiveness of the tourism sector. They support our national efforts to highlight the diversity of tourism, develop comprehensive tourism offerings, and establish a state-of-the-art digital infrastructure for tourism data in the UAE, in line with international best practices. They also contribute to strengthening the UAE’s position as the world’s best tourism destination and building a sustainable tourism sector, in alignment with the objectives of the ‘We the UAE 2031’ vision.”

Developing a comprehensive national tourism data platform

 

The Council discussed the completion of the “Tourism Data Update” project in collaboration with the relevant federal and local entities. The project aims to establish a comprehensive national platform for tourism data, ensuring accuracy and transparency in measuring performance indicators. The platform will facilitate seamless sharing of data among all relevant entities.

The meeting reviewed a series of new tourism projects that the Council plans to implement over the next year, highlighting their key role in supporting the objectives of the "National Tourism Strategy 2031". These projects focus on developing and diversifying tourism offerings across all emirates, advancing the sector’s digital transformation through innovative solutions and modern technologies, and integrating sustainability across all its activities and services. The initiative aims to enhance the quality of the visitor experience and further strengthen the competitiveness of the UAE’s tourism sector.

 

Sixth edition of the ‘World's Coolest Winter’ campaign

 

The Council reviewed ongoing preparations for the launch of the sixth edition of the “World's Coolest Winter” campaign. Discussions focused on opportunities for collaboration with influencers and digital platforms to further elevate the profile of the UAE’s tourism destinations and attractions, both regionally and globally, highlighting their natural and cultural diversity as well as unique tourism experiences. The Council also explored strategies to expand the campaign’s reach to a wider international audience through innovative marketing initiatives and cutting-edge digital communication tools.

 

The latest edition of the campaign is scheduled to launch in December 2025, coinciding with the winter season, one of the country’s most important tourism periods. Building on the successes of previous editions, the fifth campaign generated hotel revenues exceeding AED 1.9 billion and showcased more than 290 tourist destinations across the UAE. These achievements have established the campaign as an exemplary model of collaboration among federal and local entities and the private sector.

 

Strengthening tourism partnership with Oman

 

The Council explored means to bolster cooperation between the UAE and the Sultanate of Oman in the areas of tourism and heritage. It emphasised the importance of facilitating the movement of visitors and tourists between the two countries, as well as expanding cooperation in tourism investment, innovation, training, and capacity building. Additionally, the discussions emphasized promoting sustainability practices across tourism projects and destinations, reflecting the strong ties between the two countries and their shared commitment to developing the sector.

دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، 04 نوفمبر 2025: تحت رعاية صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي "رعاه الله"، أعلن "برنامج دبي لتدريب رواد الأعمال"، عن فتح باب التقديم للدفعة الثانية عشر. وتم تصميم هذا البرنامج الذي يمتد لتسعة أشهر، لتأهيل الخريجين المتميزين بمهارات مستقبلية، عبر دمج التعليم الحديث، والخبرة العملية في مجال الاستشارات ضمن بيئة الأعمال الديناميكية في دبي.

ويتلقى المشاركون في "برنامج دبي لتدريب رواد الأعمال" تدريباً متقدماً في الاستشارات الاستراتيجية، والتمويل، وتحليلات البيانات، بالإضافة إلى التدريب المهني، وتنمية المهارات الشخصية، والتجارب الثقافية، وبناء شبكات مهنية مع قطاع الصناعة.

يتعاون البرنامج مع مؤسسات تعليمية رائدة وخبراء في مجال التعليم، بما في ذلك أكاديمية بي دبليو سي، وكاباديف، وبون اديوكيشن، ويقدم البرنامج مشاريع استشارية مبتكرة لمؤسسات كبرى مثل طيران الإمارات، مركز دبي المالي العالمي، ودائرة الاقتصاد والسياحة في دبي، ومجموعة موانئ دبي العالمية "دي بي ورلد"، ودناتا. ويضمن هذا النهج الشمولي تخرج المشاركين وهم يمتلكون الخبرة التقنية، والقدرات القيادية التي تمكّنهم من الازدهار في اقتصاد عالمي متطور ومتغير.

وقال رامي توفيق، مدير "برنامج دبي لتدريب رواد الأعمال": "نحن فخورون باستقطاب المواهب الاستثنائية من مختلف أنحاء العالم. يقدم المنتسبون إلى البرنامج رؤية جديدة، والتزاماً مشتركاً بأحداث تأثر إيجابي على الأعمال والمجتمع. مع نسبة قبول %0.5 ومجموعة دولية من قادة المستقبل، يُعد برنامج دبي لتدريب رواد الأعمال برنامجاً مرموقاً للخريجين."

منذ إطلاقه، خرّج "برنامج دبي لتدريب رواد الأعمال" 313 مشاركاً من 53 دولة، بينهم 56 من مواطناً إماراتياً، وقد نفذ الخريجون 92 مشروعاً استشارياً لصالح أكثر من 30 جهة حكومية وخاصة، محققين قيمة تقديرية تبلغ 23 مليون دولار. وقد تمّ اختيار الدفعة الأخيرة من بين 6,660 متقدماً من 146 دولة، لشغل 26 مقعداً فقط، ما يعكس الجاذبية العالمية للبرنامج ومكانة دبي كمركز للابتكار وفرص النمو.

وقال سورخيل يوسفزاي، أحد خريجي "برنامج دبي لتدريب رواد الأعمال" لعام 2022: "تميّز البرنامج بتجربته العملية التي يوفرها، إذ أتيحت لي فرصة العمل مع عدد من أكثر الشركات ابتكاراً، ولقد أتاح لي البرنامج فهماً أعمق لحيوية دبي كمدينة عالمية، وزودني بالمهارات، والثقة والرؤية العالمية التي احتاجها للتفوق في مسيرتي المهنية."

KFSHRC Showcases Saudi Arabia’s Healthcare Transformation at the Milken Institute Future of Health Summit 2025

MBRF showcases rich line-up of literary and intellectual sessions at Sharjah International Book Fair

 

Dubai, UAE, 6 November 2025- The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) has kicked off its participation at the 44^th Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF), bringing a rich line-up of literary and intellectual sessions to Expo Centre Sharjah.

MBRF’s participation at SIBF, which runs from 5 to 16 November 2025, underscores its continuous efforts to foster intellectual dialogue, strengthen knowledge exchange platforms, and enhance its footprint in major knowledge forums locally and internationally. MBRF’s pavilion will serve as a hub for showcasing its knowledge-based projects and initiatives, promoting its diverse publications, and engaging with the public through panel discussions, intellectual sessions, interactive workshops, and cultural activities across various literary and creative fields.

His Excellency Jamal bin Huwaireb, CEO of MBRF, said: “We are pleased to be a part of SIBF, which is one of the region’s largest intellectual gatherings. Additionally, the Dubai International Program for Writing (DIPW) is hosting a wide range of sessions to support literary talents, including those focused on children’s literature, storytelling, fiction, literary criticism, and creative exploration. Highlights include “Children’s Books and Bibliotherapy” with author Wafa Al Mezghani, “Short Story Writing in the AI Age” with Islam Abou Shekier, and “How to Awaken the Reader Within Your Child?” with Maryam Jamal. DIPW will also host book launch events and discussions centered on the real-life impact of literary workshops.

برعاية وزارة الصحة السعودية06 نوفمبر 2025، الرياض، المملكة العربية السعودية - نظّمت شركة «أبسوات»، المتخصصة عالمياً في حلول الأمن السيبراني للبنى التحتية الحيوية لتقنية المعلومات، والتكنولوجيا التشغيلية، وأنظمة التحكم الصناعي، «القمة النسائية للأمن السيبراني (CyberSHEsec)» في الرياض، بالتعاون مع مؤسسة «سايبر فورج جلوبال» المتخصصة في تنظيم مؤتمرات وفعاليات الأمن السيبراني.

 

وجاءت القمة احتفاءً بشهر التوعية بالأمن السيبراني، وبدعم من «وزارة الصحة السعودية» و«رابطة نساء الشرق الأوسط للأمن السيبراني»، لتسليط الضوء على الدور المتنامي للمرأة في قيادة التحول الرقمي وتعزيز أمن الفضاء السيبراني في المملكة والخليج. كما أَبْرَزَت القمة جهود تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية 2030 الرامية لتمكين المرأة وترسيخ مشاركة العنصر النسائي في بناء اقتصاد رقمي شامل وآمن ومستدام.

 

وشهدت الجلسات الحوارية في القمة مشاركة نخبة من القيادات والخبراء من القطاعين الحكومي والخاص، تناولوا أحدث المستجدات في منظومة الأمن السيبراني، وتأثير تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي في تعزيز الدفاعات الرقمية، إلى جانب مناقشة خطط رفع الجاهزية السيبرانية الوطنية، وآليات بناء كوادر مؤهلة لمواجهة التهديدات الإلكترونية المستقبلية.

 

ووفقًا لبيانات «الاتحاد السعودي للأمن السيبراني والبرمجة والدرونز»، بلغت نسبة مشاركة المرأة في وظائف الأمن السيبراني بالمملكة نحو 45%، مقارنة بمتوسط عالمي يبلغ نحو 25%، ما يعكس ريادة السعودية في تعزيز التنوع وتمكين الكوادر النسائية في هذا القطاع.

 

وخلال الحدث، ألقت «رنيم السالم»، مدير عام تمكين المرأة في وزارة الصحة، كلمةً أكدت فيها أن تعزيز حضور المرأة في مجالات الأمن السيبراني يمثل جزءًا أصيلًا من مسار التحول الوطني الشامل الذي تشهده المملكة. وقالت: "تمكين المرأة في الأمن السيبراني لا يقتصر على الشمولية، بل يتعداها إلى الابتكار، فاليوم، وتحت مظلة رؤية 2030، نشهد عصراً جديداً تكون فيه المرأة شريكة في بناء مستقبل رقمي آمن، وقادرة على القيادة بثقة." كما أشارت إلى أن  مبادرات مثل «القمة النسائية للأمن السيبراني» تمثل بيئة داعمة تعزز مشاركة المرأة وثقتها في قيادة مسار تطوير مرونة الأمن الرقمي الوطني.

 

ومن جانبها، أوضحت «رنا الغراسي»، مديرة التسويق لقنوات الشركاء والأسواق في دول الخليج بشركة «أبسوات» أن الابتكار وتعزيز الأمن الرقمي يرتبطان ارتباطًا وثيقًا بتنوع الكفاءات وتمكينها. وأكدت أن القمة تهدف إلى توفير منصة تجمع المتخصصات في الأمن السيبراني لتبادل الخبرات وبحث التطورات الراهنة في القطاع، وترسيخ النقاش حول مستقبل رقمي أكثر شمولًا ومرونةً. وأضافت قائلةً: "نواصل دعم مشاركة المرأة في مجال الأمن السيبراني، وتوفير فرص تدريب تسهم في تطوير مهارات المختصين وتعزيز قدرتهم على حماية البنية التحتية الحيوية في المملكة، ويعكس التعاون مع مؤسسة «سايبر فورج جلوبال» والدعم المقدم من وزارة الصحة، توجهًا مشتركًا نحو تحقيق مستقبل رقمي يَتَّسِم بالأمان والشمولية".

 

ومن جهتها، أكدّت «نورة الدغيم» الممثلة الإقليمية لـ«رابطة نساء الشرق الأوسط للأمن السيبراني» أن الفعاليات المتخصصة مثل «القمة النسائية للأمن السيبراني» تُسهم في توسيع مساحة الحوار، ودعم الإرشاد المهني والابتكار في مجال الأمن السيبراني، وتمكين النساء من طرح رؤى جديدة لمواجهة التحديات الأمنية المعقّدة، وتعزيز مساهمتهن في دفع عجلة التحول الرقمي الوطني. وقالت: "تدعم هذه المبادرات بناء نموذج قيادي متوازن في القطاع السيبراني يرتكز على الشمول والعمل الجماعي والتطوير المعرفي".

 

وخلال الحدث، أُتيح للمشاركين الحصول على شهادات تخصصية في مجال حماية البنية التحتية الحيوية عبر «أكاديمية أبسوات»، التي توفر برامج تدريبية معتمدة للعاملين في الأمن السيبراني. وتأتي هذه المبادرة انسجامًا مع استراتيجية السعودية الرامية إلى تعزيز القدرات الوطنية في حماية الأصول الرقمية الحيوية، وبناء كوادر مؤهلة قادرة على مواكبة متطلبات الأمن السيبراني في المملكة.
