World’s Largest AI Prompt Engineering Championship Opens Registration

AED 1 million in prize money up for grabs in Dubai-hosted global AI competition.

Dubai-UAE. 15 March 2025: Registration is open for the second edition of the Global Prompt Engineering Championship 2025 – the world’s largest generative AI prompt engineering competition that aims to cultivate a global community that exchanges expertise, knowledge, and innovations in the prompt engineering space. AI experts from around the world will compete in four categories – Art, Video, Gaming, and Coding – with a total prize pool of AED 1 million.

The championship offers creative local and global talents a platform to demonstrate their skills in the field of prompt engineering by crafting precise instructions for an AI tool to generate desired unique content.

Organised by the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI), an initiative overseen by the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), the championship will take place during Dubai AI Week on 22–23 April 2025, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Dubai Future Foundation.

This global challenge provides AI professionals and enthusiasts with a platform to push the boundaries of AI applications, collaborate on cutting-edge advancements, and immerse themselves in Dubai’s thriving innovation ecosystem, reinforcing the emirate’s position as a global leader in AI.

Selection and Evaluation Process                                 

Applications close on March 22, after which 24 finalists – six per category – will be selected to compete live in Dubai at AREA 2071, Emirates Towers. The first day of championship will see competitions among six finalists in each of the four categories. The top 3 participants across each category will then advance to the final phase on the second day. Following two days of competing, top 3 prompt engineer winners will be selected and awarded a shared prize pool worth  of 1 million dirhams.

The evaluation will be based on speed, quality, and accuracy of the prompt engineering output that will be conducted by a specialised committee.

Saeed Al Falasi, Director of the DCAI, stated: “This April, the Global Prompt Engineering Championship will unite top AI engineers, designers, and prompt programmers in a high-energy environment to explore the next frontier of AI. This event strengthens Dubai’s position as a global testbed for AI innovation, ensuring technology is developed with real-world impact and for the benefit of humanity.”

Last year’s edition of the championship attracted thousands of submissions from nearly 100 countries. Thirty participants from 13 countries, including Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Morocco, India, Singapore, the Dominican Republic, Austria, France, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates, competed in three main categories: Art, Literature, and Coding.

دبي، 15 مارس 2025: أعلن مركز دبي لاستخدامات الذكاء الاصطناعي عن فتح باب التسجيل في الدورة الثانية من "التحدي الدولي للذكاء الاصطناعي"، والتي ستتضمن هذا العام 4 فئات رئيسية هي: الصور الفنية والفيديوهات القصيرة والبرمجة والألعاب الإلكترونية، بقيمة جوائز إجمالية تصل إلى مليون درهم.

ويتيح هذا التحدي الأكبر من نوعه فرصة لمهندسي الأوامر البرمجية في تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي (Prompt Engineering) من مختلف أنحاء العالم لعرض مهاراتهم في توظيف قدرات الذكاء الاصطناعي التوليدي واستخدام تطبيقاتها المتنوعة مثل “شات جي بي تي” و”ميد جورني” وغيرهما في إنتاج محتوى جديد ومميز خلال وقت محدد عبر كتابة أوامر برمجية واضحة ودقيقة.

كيفية المشاركة

وسيكون باب المشاركة في المرحلة التأهيلية الأولى للتحدي الدولي للذكاء الاصطناعي متاحاً حتى يوم السبت 22 مارس 2025 عبر الموقع الإلكتروني: (www.challenge.dub.ai/en).

وسيتم اختيار 24 متأهلاً من المتقدمين عبر الموقع من قبل المشاركين الأخرين وفق نظام التصويت للمشاركة في المنافسات النهائية للتحدي الدولي للذكاء الاصطناعي في دبي على مدار يومين (22 و23 أبريل 2025) ضمن فعاليات "أسبوع دبي للذكاء الاصطناعي" في أبريل القادم برعاية سمو الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، ولي عهد دبي نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الدفاع، رئيس مجلس أمناء مؤسسة دبي للمستقبل.

وسيشهد اليوم الأول من "التحدي الدولي للذكاء الاصطناعي" منافسات بين كل 6 مشاركين متأهلين في كل فئة من الفئات الأربع الرئيسية في اليوم الأول لمنافسات التحدي تحت أنظار لجنة تحكيم تضم خبراء ومتخصصين لاختيار 3 مشاركين في كل فئة للمنافسة في الجولة النهائية الختامية في اليوم الثاني، وذلك وفق 3 معايير رئيسية تشمل الدقة والجودة والسرعة.

Hong Kong Airlines Launch New Service to Sydney, Australia

 

Hong Kong Airlines is pleased to announce the latest development of its network expansion, with the introduction of a new direct service to Sydney, Australia, set to commence on 20 June 2025. This will make Hong Kong Airlines the second Hong Kong based airline to operate this popular route, enhancing convenience for passengers and promoting market competition. The new service will be operated with daily scheduled flights and is Hong Kong Airlines’ second Australian destination in this year, following the successful resumption of  seasonal flights to the Gold Coast on 17 January. إبسون تطور دارة إلكترونية جديدة لإدارة استهلاك الطاقة في أجهزة السمع والأجهزة الإلكترونية الصغيرة

 

 

دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة، 12 مارس 2025: قامت شركة "سيكو إبسون" (رمزها في بورصة طوكيو: 6724 "إبسون") بتطوير دارة إلكترونية جديدة لإدارة استهلاك الطاقة (S1A00210B) مخصصة لأجهزة السمع وغيرها من الأجهزة الإلكترونية الصغيرة. ويمكن حجز العينات اعتباراً من أبريل 2025 مع توقعات بوصولها في شهر أغسطس.

 

وعادة ما تكون الدارات الإلكترونية لإدارة استهلاك الطاقة (PMICs) مسؤولة عن إدارة الطاقة في الأجهزة الإلكترونية، وتم استخدامها خلال الأعوام القليلة الماضية من أجل التحكم بشحن البطاريات الثانوية (القابلة لإعادة الشحن).

وتضم قائمة الدارات الإلكترونية لإدارة استهلاك الطاقة (PMICs) المقدمة من إبسون لأجهزة السمع في الوقت الحالي ثلاثة نماذج: واحد منها مع خاصية الشحن اللاسلكي، واثنان منها مع الشحن التلامسي.

 

وتستخدم الدارة الإلكترونية الجديدة لإدارة استهلاك الطاقة (S1A00210B) وشيعة أصغر مقارنة بالجيل اللاسلكي السابق منها (S1A00112B)، ويعود الفضل في ذلك إلى التواتر الأعلى للنقل¹، حيث تسهم الوشائع الأصغر في جعل أجهزة السمع أصغر. كما يمكن لـ( S1A00210B) تخزين نوعين من خوارزميات شحن البطاريات وإدارة عدد دورات الشحن، ما يسمح لها بتحسين طريقة شحن البطاريات ذات الخصائص المختلفة أو تلك التي خضعت للشحن المتكرر، الأمر الذي يساعد على التقليل من الوقت اللازم للشحن وتمديد عمر البطاريات. وتقدم هذه الخصائص وعوداً لتحسين الرضا الذي يشعر به مستخدمو أجهزة السمع.

 

وتساعد الدارة الإلكترونية (S1A00210B) على تقليل عدد المكونات من خلال منظم التسرب المنخفض (LDO)² لتزويد الطاقة للأغراض العامة والذي تم دمجه حديثاً، ويلغي الحاجة إلى دارة إلكترونية منفصلة من أجل تزويد الطاقة لشريحة "بلوتوث" منخفضة الطاقة (Bluetooth^® Low Energy chip)³ أو لشريحة الاستشعار، والتي يتم وعلى نحو متزايد دمجها في أجهزة السمع. كما يسهم دمج جميع أدوات إدارة الطاقة اللازمة في الأجهزة الإلكترونية الصغيرة (مثل استقبال الطاقة، والشحن، وإمداد الطاقة، وحماية البطارية، وذاكرات القراءة فقط Flash ROM) في شريحة واحدة في تبسيط تصميم الدارة.

الرياض، دبي - 12 مارس 2025:  أصدرت "الشرق للأخبار" تاسع تقاريرها المطولة التي ترصد البيانات المالية في قطاع الرياضة، وهو "ميركاتو الشرق 2024"، من إنتاج (اقتصاد الشرق مع بلومبرغ). التقرير يقدم 24 رسماً توضيحياً يقارن وضع سوق الانتقالات الدولية للاعبي كرة القدم في المنطقة العربية خلال الفترة من 2020-2024.

 

رياض حمادة، مدير الأخبار الاقتصادية في الشرق، قال: "شهد سوق انتقالات لاعبي كرة القدم في المنطقة العربية حراكاً كبيراً في آخر موسمين في ظل انفتاح الدوري السعودي على ضم نخبة لاعبي كرة القدم من الخارج، والنشاط الملموس للدوريين القطري والإماراتي، وكذلك حالة الرواج الدائمة في شمال أفريقيا من حيث البيع والشراء، لذا كان من المهم وجود مرجع لرصد حركة سوق لاعبي كرة القدم في المنطقة العربية خلال هذه الفترة".

 

وأضاف: "ميركاتو الشرق 2024" يُضاف إلى سلسلة التقارير المالية الرياضية التي تصدرها "الشرق للأخبار" منذ أغسطس 2022، وتتناول ميزانيات أندية كرة القدم العربية وحركة سوق انتقالات اللاعبين، واقتصاديات كأس العالم".

 

يرصد التقرير كل ما يتعلق بسوق الانتقالات الدولية في المنطقة العربية خلال عام 2024، من حيث الإنفاق والإيرادات والأرباح وصافي الإنفاق، ومقارنتها في آخر خمس سنوات.

 

تكشف الأرقام عن وجود تراجع كبير في الإنفاق على ضم لاعبين من الخارج، تجاوز 45% مقارنةً بالعام الماضي، حيث أنفقت الأندية العربية 667 مليون دولار في عام 2024، فيما وصل حجم الإنفاق خلال الفترة (2020-2024) إلى نحو 2.25 مليار دولار.

 

في المقابل، نمت الإيرادات من مبيعات اللاعبين إلى الخارج بنسبة 40.5% لتصل إلى أكثر من 71 مليون دولار في 2024، ما يعد رقماً قياسياً غير مسبوق.

 

جاءت أندية السعودية وقطر والإمارات في الصدارة من حيث الإنفاق على ضم اللاعبين من الخارج، أما الأرباح فكانت من نصيب أندية المغرب ومصر وتونس.
