طيران الإمارات تطبّق حظر استخدام وحدات شحن الأجهزة المحمولة على متن رحلاتها ابتداءً من الغد

 

دبي، 30 سبتمبر (أيلول) 2025: أعلنت طيران الإمارات عن بدء سريان حظر استخدام أي نوع من وحدات شحن الأجهزة المحمولة (الباور بنك) على متن رحلاتها  اعتباراً من الغد، 1 أكتوبر (تشرين الأول) 2025. وتوفر طيران الإمارات منافذ شحن في المقاعد على جميع طائراتها، إلا أنها توصي عملاءها بشحن أجهزتهم بالكامل قبل السفر، خاصة في الرحلات الطويلة.   وتعتبر وحدة شحن الأجهزة المحمولة (الباور بنك) جهازاً قابلاً لإعادة الشحن، ويُستخدم لتزويد الأجهزة الإلكترونية الأخرى مثل الهواتف الذكية والأجهزة اللوحية وأجهزة الكمبيوتر المحمولة والكاميرات بالطاقة. ويُسمح لعملاء طيران الإمارات حمل وحدة شحن واحدة فقط على متن الطائرة، وفقاً لشروط محددة، ولكن يُحظر استخدامها داخل مقصورة الطائرة، سواء لشحن الأجهزة منها أو لإعادة شحنها باستخدام مصادر الطاقة في الطائرة.   وتشمل لوائح طيران الإمارات الخاصة وحدات شحن الأجهزة المحمولة على متن الطائرة:   ·       يمكن للعملاء حمل وحدة شحن واحدة فقط تقل سعتها عن 100 واط/ساعة.   ·       يُحظر استخدام وحدات شحن الأجهزة المحمولة لشحن أي جهاز شخصي على متن الطائرة.   ·       يُحظر توصيل وحدات الشحن بمصادر الطاقة داخل الطائرة لشحنها.   ·       يجب أن تتضمن كل وحدة شحن يتم قبولها معلومات واضحة عن سعتها الكهربائية.   ·       يُحظر وضع وحدات الشحن المحمولة في الخزائن العلوية داخل المقصورة، ويجب وضعها في جيب المقعد أو في حقيبة تحت المقعد الأمامي.   ·       يُحظر وضع وحدات شحن الأجهزة المحمولة في الأمتعة المسجلة، وفقاً للإجراء المعتمد حالياً.   لماذا تجري طيران الإمارات هذه التعديلات؟   بعد مراجعة شاملة لإجراءات السلامة، تتخذ طيران الإمارات موقفاً حازماً واستباقياً للحد من المخاطر المتعلقة بوحدات شحن الأجهزة المحمولة على متن الطائرة. فقد شهدت الأعوام الأخيرة زيادة كبيرة في استخدام المسافرين لهذه الأجهزة، ما أدى إلى ارتفاع عدد الحوادث المرتبطة ببطاريات الليثيوم في قطاع الطيران بشكل عام.   وتعمل وحدات شحن الأجهزة المحمولة أساساً ببطاريات ليثيوم أيون أو ليثيوم بوليمر، وهي عبارة عن بطاريات قابلة لإعادة الشحن مصممة لتغذية الأجهزة أثناء التنقل. وتحتوي هذه البطاريات على أيونات ليثيوم معلّقة في محلول إلكتروليتي، وتتحرك هذه الأيونات ذهاباً وإياباً بين القطبين خلال عملية الشحن والتفريغ. وفي حال تعرض البطارية للشحن الزائد أو التلف، قد يحدث ما يُعرف بـ"الانفلات الحراري"، وهو تفاعل ذاتي متسارع يؤدي إلى ارتفاع كبير وغير قابل للسيطرة في درجة الحرارة، وقد يتسبب في نشوب حرائق أو انفجارات أو انبعاث غازات سامة.   وبينما تتضمن معظم الهواتف والأجهزة المتقدمة المزودة ببطاريات ليثيوم، أنظمة حماية داخلية لمنع الشحن الزائد، فإن العديد من وحدات شحن الأجهزة المحمولة منخفضة الجودة لا تحتوي على هذه الخاصية، مما يزيد من مستوى الخطورة. وتخضع جميع وحدات شحن الأجهزة المحمولة للوائح الجديدة على متن رحلات طيران الإمارات.   وتهدف اللوائح الجديدة التي اعتمدتها طيران الإمارات إلى الحد من هذه المخاطر بشكل كبير من خلال حظر استخدام وحدات شحن الأجهزة المحمولة أثناء التواجد على متن الطائرة. كما أن اشتراط وضع هذه الوحدات في أماكن يسهل الوصول إليها داخل المقصورة يتيح لطاقم الطائرة المدربين التدخل السريع والسيطرة في حال وقوع حريق.   وتُعد السلامة أحد القيم الأساسية لطيران الإمارات، وركيزة رئيسية في جميع عملياتها وممارساتها التشغيلية. وتؤكد الناقلة التزامها بالحفاظ على أعلى مستويات السلامة، وتعزيزها باستمرار، بما يضمن سلامة المسافرين والموظفين في جميع الأوقات.   معلومات أوفى من هنا.

Dubai Airports strengthens accessibility mission with new advisory voices

 

A Paralympian, a disability rights pioneer, and an inclusive advocacy foundation bring lived experience and expertise to support the next phase of inclusive travel at DXB

 

 

Dubai, UAE, 29 September 2025: Dubai Airports, the operator of the busiest international airport, has enlisted Paralympian Jessica Smith, disability rights expert Fatma Al Jassim, and the advocacy foundation, Team AngelWolf as strategic advisors. This move is a major step toward making Dubai International (DXB) the world's most accessible and inclusive airport.

 

The new advisors will leverage their expertise and advocacy to help Dubai Airports identify gaps, challenge assumptions, and co-create meaningful solutions for accessible travel. This collaboration reflects Dubai Airports’ vision that true accessibility goes beyond infrastructure and is rooted in lived experience and direct community input, ensuring that solutions are shaped by the real experiences of People of Determination.

 

Majed Al Joker, Chief Operating Officer at Dubai Airports, said: “True inclusion begins with listening. By focusing our work on the lived experiences of our guests, we can challenge our own assumptions and co-create an airport experience that moves us closer to becoming the world’s most inclusive hub.”

 

Together, these three advisors bring a wealth of lived experience and advocacy to DXB. Smith is an award-winning disability inclusion consultant and former Paralympian who represented Australia at the 2004 Paralympic Games. Al Jassim is an Emirati pioneer in disability inclusion. Team AngelWolf is a Dubai-based family foundation known for achieving multiple Guinness World Records through inclusive teamwork.

 

The new collaboration marks a new step in Dubai Airports' mission to build a more inclusive future for the aviation industry. As the first international airport globally to be designated a Certified Autism Center™ awarded by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), DXB has already trained more than 53,000 employees in hidden disabilities practices.

 

The airport is a key partner in Dubai's broader ambition to become a disability-friendly city, a vision that gained momentum when the city was named as the first Certified Autism Destination in the Eastern Hemisphere earlier this year.

Global Leadership to Advance Sustainable Land Management and Address Drought Challenges

New York, United States – 29 September 2025 – The Presidency of the 16th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD COP16), held by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reaffirmed the importance of intensifying international efforts to confront the challenges of drought and land degradation. This came during the high-level session titled “Accelerating Global Action from Riyadh to Ulaanbaatar” on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The session convened ministers, senior officials, international experts — including a Nobel Laureate — alongside representatives from UN agencies, NGOs, Indigenous peoples, as well as private sector and financial institutions.

The program featured opening remarks from leading international officials followed by a keynote address highlighting the critical role of healthy land and drought resilience as foundations of stability and prosperity. The keynote underscored the importance of land as an essential pillar of life on Earth and outlined the severe impacts of degradation on food and water security, biodiversity, climate adaptation, and social well-being. It also reviewed drought mitigation measures, including landmark initiatives such as the Riyadh Global Drought Resilience Partnership.

The program also featured two substantive panel discussions. The first focused on innovative financing for drought resilience, with the participation of leading economists and heads of international financial institutions. The second addressed accelerating land rehabilitation, emphasizing the role of sustainable rangeland management in strengthening livelihoods as well as food and water security. The session concluded with closing remarks from senior UN officials who stressed the need to sustain momentum and ensure that the commitments launched in Riyadh are carried forward to Ulaanbaatar for COP17 in 2026.

Participants affirmed that this event served as a pivotal moment to renew global political commitment to tackling land degradation and drought as comprehensive development, environmental, and economic challenges. They highlighted new financing solutions and mechanisms as practical tools to address risks, while underscoring the importance of long-term partnerships between the COP16 and COP17 Presidencies to ensure continuity of efforts.

The COP16 Presidency, under the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, continues to chart the roadmap to COP17 in Ulaanbaatar in 2026, preserving momentum and advancing commitments from Riyadh. This forward-looking effort aims to strengthen sustainable land management, safeguard food and water security, and enhance global resilience for the benefit of future generations.

كما تضمن البرنامج نقاشاً ثرياً من خلال جلستين رئيسيتين؛ الأولى خصصت للتمويل المبتكر لمواجهة الجفاف بمشاركة نخبة من الاقتصاديين وقادة المؤسسات المالية الدولية، والثانية ركزت على تسريع العمل في مجال إعادة تأهيل الأراضي مع إبراز دور الإدارة المستدامة للمراعي في تعزيز سبل العيش والأمن الغذائي والمائي، واختتمت الجلسة بكلمات ختامية من كبار مسؤولي الأمم المتحدة الذين شددوا على أهمية مواصلة الزخم وضمان انتقال الالتزامات التي أُطلقت في الرياض إلى أولان باتور خلال مؤتمر الأطراف السابع عشر (COP17) عام 2026.

Arab knowledge stakeholders highlight the importance of monitoring indices in accelerating the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development

 On the sidelines of the 80^th UN General Assembly

New York, 28  September 2025 - A high-level event held on the sidelines of the 80^th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 80) emphasized the critical role of knowledge tools and monitoring indices in accelerating the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Permanent Mission of the United Arab Emirates to the UN, the event brought together government representatives, knowledge leaders, and strategic partners for a discussion on the opportunities and challenges facing the Arab world in the context of economic transformation, technological shifts, climate change, and a rapidly expanding youth population.

The event was inaugurated by Their Excellencies Jamal bin Huwaireb, CEO of MBRF; Dr. Abdullah Al Dardari, UN Assistant Secretary-General and Director of the Regional Bureau for Arab States at UNDP; and Mohamed Abushahab, Permanent Representative of the UAE to the UN. In their opening remarks, the speakers emphasized the need for innovative frameworks and next-generation indices to develop future-ready skills and advance inclusive and sustainable development. They also urged greater collaboration at the regional and international levels to ensure no one is left behind.

His Excellency Jamal bin Huwaireb stated: “There is a pressing need to exchange knowledge and expertise across countries and institutions. This will certainly empower the Arab region to address its growing challenges and seize the immense opportunities for innovation and growth presented by today’s technological revolution.”

H.E. added: “Our work at MBRF, in close collaboration with our strategic partner, UNDP, shows that investing in precise knowledge indices and standards, including the Global Knowledge Index (GKI) and future foresight reports, is key to helping governments and policy-makers craft impactful strategies for knowledge-based economies. The success of the ‘Future Skills Academy’ initiative is a testament to this approach, having equipped thousands of young Arabs with the essential skills through thousands of educational programs. The initiative not only fosters a culture of lifelong learning but also enhances the readiness of upcoming generations for a fast-evolving job market. Our partnership with UNDP underscores our shared commitment to transforming knowledge into a practical pillar of development, empowering our societies to achieve sustainable competitiveness globally.”

The event focused on three key themes: highlighting knowledge policy; capacity-building and future skills frameworks to accelerate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); and data-based monitoring systems, developmental indicators, measurement tools, and reporting. It also reviewed the outcomes of the first phase of the Future Skills Academy, which supported 10,000 Arab citizens in enhancing their skills through over 15,000 educational programs, totaling more than 114,000 hours of learning. In addition, over 13,000 learners across the Arab region are currently engaged in developing future-ready skills, preparing for an ever-changing job market increasingly shaped by competitive skills rather than academic credentials.

The event concluded by underscoring the significance of regional ownership, highlighting the need for knowledge tools and capacity-building strategies to be aligned with local priorities. It called for greater cross-sectoral integration to foster a more sustainable and inclusive future for the Arab region and beyond. As part of this framework, it was announced that the 10^th edition of the ‘Knowledge Summit’ will be held in Dubai on 19-20 November 2025, under the theme ‘Knowledge Markets: Developing Sustainable Communities.’ Marking a decade since its inception, this year’s Summit reinforces its role as a global platform for dialogue and knowledge exchange, exploring the importance of knowledge in driving policymaking, shaping the future of sustainable development, and empowering individuals and communities.

26 September 2025 – The Emirati Human Resources Development Council (EHRDC) announced the pilot launch of the ‘Emirati Smart Human Resource Platform’, an advanced AI-powered platform designed to seamlessly connect Emirati talents with suitable job opportunities and training programs. The platform operates based on an instant methodology focused on transparency and reliability to facilitate this.

 

An Integrated Ecosystem

The ‘Emirati Smart Human Resource Platform’ is a pioneering innovation designed to enhance recruitment efficiency and increase Emirati participation across key economic sectors. It serves as a smart and integrated tool for managing recruitment processes and skills development, offering automated job recommendations and training vacancies tailored to individual qualifications and evolving labour market demands. It also promotes robust governance over the performance and transparency of recruiting entities in processing applications from job seekers.

 

The platform features several capabilities, including interactive dashboards and real-time reports, allowing employers and relevant bodies to track the performance of recruitment processes and responsiveness levels of various entities. It also offers virtual interview capabilities to streamline remote hiring and facilitate communication between job seekers and employers, in addition to delivering accurate, up-to-date information on available opportunities, ensuring equal access to jobs and training programs.

 

Abdulaziz Essa Al Falahi, General Supervisor of Employment Operations at EHRDC, said: “The platform marks a major advancement in the mission to empower Emirati talent and broaden their career prospects. الإمارات العربية المتحدة، أبوظبي،  25سبتمبر 2025: يتوجه نسخة 2024 لمعرض "آفاق الفنانين الناشئين"، الذي قام تحت رعاية "فن أبوظبي" في منارة السعديات، إلى واحدة من أبرز المؤسسات الفنية العالمية، ساتشي جاليري في لندن، حيث يُقام خلال الفترة من 1 إلى 11 أكتوبر 2025. يمثل المعرض الخطوة السابعة للبرنامج على المستوى الدولي، والأولى في مؤسسة ساتشي المرموقة. وذلك بعد النجاح الكبير الذي حققه البرنامج مؤخرًا في هونغ كونغ.

 

أشرف على تنظيم المعرض لورنزو فياشي (أحد مؤسسي جاليريا كونتينوا)، ويضم أعمالاً لثلاث فنانات وهن فاطمة آل علي، ودينا نظمي خورشيد، وسمرين مهرا أجاروال، حيث تتنوع أعمالهن بين النحت والصوت والمنسوجات، وتتناول مواضيع عميقة مثل التحول، والذاكرة، والروابط العاطفية بين الإنسان والمكان. من خلال هذه الأعمال، يقدمن للجمهور في لندن نظرة فريدة على الممارسات الفنية المعاصرة القادمة من الإمارات العربية المتحدة.

 

يُعد ساتشي جاليري بيئة مثالية لاستضافة برنامج "آفاق الفنانين الناشئين"، نظرًا لسمعته العالمية في دعم الفنانين الناشئين وجعل الفن المعاصر متاحًا للجميع. حيث قدّمت صالة العرض على مدى سنوات عديدة معارضَ جريئةً ومحفزة للتفكير، وليمثل منصة حيوية للحوار الثقافي والابتكار. ما يشكل فرصةً استثنائية للتعريف بالمشهد الإبداعي الإماراتي أمام جمهور لندن الدولي، والاطلاع على ملامح الهوية الثقافية الإماراتية المعاصرة من خلال عيون الجيل الجديد من المبدعين.

 

يُقام هذا المعرض بدعم من الشريك العالمي لبرنامج فن أبوظبي، بنك (HSBC)، ما يعكس التزامه المستمر بدعم المواهب الإماراتية الناشئة وتعزيز التبادل الثقافي الدولي.

 

برنامج "آفاق الفنانين الناشئين" قد أُطلق عام 2017 بهدف تمكين المواهب الفنية في الإمارات من خلال تقديم الإرشاد والدعم التنظيمي والتعريف الدولي. ويشكل المعرض القادم في لندن خطوة جديدة في مسيرة البرنامج نحو إبراز أصوات الجيل الجديد من الفنانين وتعزيز دور أبوظبي مركزًا عالميًا للحوار الفني والتبادل الثقافي.

نبذة عن لورنزو فياشي

لورنزو فياشي هو أحد المؤسسين والمدراء الثلاثة لصالة جاليريا كونتينوا الذي يتميز بعمله خارج المساحات التقليدية في مختلف أنحاء العالم، بما في ذلك باريس، وإيطاليا، وكوبا، والصين. افتتحت صالة جاليريا كونتينوا أبوابها في سان جيمينيانو بإيطاليا عام 1990، بمبادرة من ثلاثة أصدقاء: ماريو كريستياني، ولورنزو فياشي، وماوريتسيو ريجيلو. وقد تم تحويل دار سينما سابقة إلى معرض جاليريا كونتينوا، وأثبت وجوده وازدهر في موقع غير تقليدي، بعيداً عن المدن الكبرى والمراكز الحضرية الحديثة، في مدينة سان جيميجنانو الغارقة في التاريخ والمليئة بالسحر والجمال.

 

أتاح اختيار هذا الموقع غير المتوقع فرصة لتطوير حوارات وشراكات جديدة بين جغرافيا متنوعة: الريفية والصناعية، والمحلية والعالمية، وفن الماضي والحاضر، وبين الفنانين المشهورين والناشئين. وجود صالة العرض في منطقة ذات تاريخ وروح خاصة بها، وإن كانت "منسية" إلى حد ما، مكنت صالة جاليريا كونتينوا من تكوين سمعة طيبة كمركز قادر على إنتاج أعمال معاصرة مميزة وجريئة في أماكن غير متوقعة، بعيداً عن القيود المكانية والزمانية للمؤسسات الفنية التقليدية.

 

بفضل التزامه بروح التطور الدائم ورغبته في جذب أكبر عدد ممكن من الجمهور للفن المعاصر، قامت صالة جاليريا كونتينوا على مدار ثلاثين عاماً بإنشاء هوية قائمة على القيمتين الأساسيتين: الكرم والإيثار، اللتين تشكلان جوهر جميع التعاملات مع الفنانين والجمهور. تسعى صالة جاليريا كونتينوا إلى تحقيق الاستمرارية بين العصور والمشاركة في كتابة تاريخ الحاضر، مع التركيز على الممارسات الإبداعية المعاصرة والحفاظ على الصلة بين الماضي والمستقبل وبين الأفراد المختلفين والجغرافيا.

 

تماشياً مع رؤيتها العالمية، افتتحت صالة جاليريا كونتينوا أول صالة عرض دولية لها ببرنامج دولي في بكين، الصين، ولديها حضور في ساو باولو، البرازيل، ودبي.

 

نبذة عن فاطمة آل علي:

فاطمة آل علي مواليد دولة الإمارات عام 1994، هي فنانة متعددة التخصصات تشمل ممارساتها الرسم، الطباعة، الفيديو، النحت، والتركيب. تعتمد أعمالها على النهج الأكاديمي الاستقصائي والأرشيفي، حيث تتعمق في تاريخ وثقافة الخليج الاجتماعي لإثراء فنها. تعكس أعمال آل علي استكشافاتها العميقة للإدراك، والمادية، والذاكرة، والقيود المجتمعية، مع تحدي المفاهيم التقليدية للفن.

 

حصلت آل علي على درجة البكالوريوس في الفنون الجميلة من جامعة الشارقة في عام 2018، وأكملت برنامج زمالة سلامة بنت حمدان للفنانين الناشئين في عام 2019، بالتعاون مع كلية رود أيلاند للتصميم.

سمرين مهرا أجاروال هي فنانة متعددة التخصصات تعيش في أبوظبي. تتناول أعمالها الفنية تفاصيل تأثيرات التاريخ الحربي، والإهمال، وتغير المناخ، على فهمنا للطبيعة. حازت سمرين على درجة الماجستير في الفنون الجميلة بتقدير ممتاز، والميدالية الذهبية من جامعة دلهي. تدرس حالياً في كلية سنترال سانت مارتينز للفنون والتصميم في لندن. عُرضت أعمالها في التصفيات النهائية لجائزة ريتشارد ميل للفنون المرموقة في متحف اللوفر أبوظبي لعام 2022، وتشمل مشاريعها المؤسسية مشروع جوجنهايم أبوظبي، في الاستوديو 2021 ، وكامبس آرت دبي للفن العام 2021 الذي ينظمه آرت دبي ودبي للثقافة. فازت بجائزة مهرجان رأس الخيمة للفنون الجميلة 2023 في فئة الفنون الجميلة، ووصلت إلى التصفيات النهائية لجوائز أدنوك للفنون 2021 الممنوحة للفن العام. شاركت أجاروال في برنامج منارة السعديات لإقامة الفنان 2021؛ وبرنامج الإقامة الفنية للمجمع الثقافي 2020-21، أبوظبي؛ حصلت على التأشيرة الذهبية للمواهب المتخصصة، وقد عرضت أعمالها في عروض فردية في متحف الشارقة للفنون؛ مختبر الفن المعاصر واستوديو ميديكو بوسكوفيتش، ميلان تم اختيارهما من قبل رابطة المتاحف الإيطالية للفن المعاصر؛ آرتسبيس، المجمع الثقافي أبوظبي؛ 1x1 آرت جاليري، دبي وفن أبوظبي. كما حصلت على منحة وإقامة الحكومة الفرنسية، باريس؛ والفائز الوطني بجائزة نوكيا للفنون في آسيا والمحيط الهادئ سيؤول؛ وجائزة سيلوز للتميز، كلية الفنون، نيودلهي.

نبذة عن دينا نظمي خورشيد

دينا نظمي خورشيد، وُلدت في عام 1987 في الكويت، هي فنانة تشكيلية تعمل بشكل أساسي في مجال المنسوجات المطبوعة والمنسوجة. تبني أعمالها روايات عن المكان والترابط مع الجسد، من خلال استخدام العلامات والتصوير الفوتوغرافي ودراسات المواد، والتي تتجسد في المنسوجات والأعمال على الورق.

 

تستكشف دينا نظمي خورشيد، كفنانة فلسطينية وابنة أحد ضحايا حرب الخليج، موضوعات متعددة تشمل الهوية، والجغرافيا السياسية، والحزن، والوصول إلى الأرض، والذاكرة. أعمالها تنتمي إلى مجموعات خاصة وقد عُرضت في معارض جماعية في الإمارات، والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، ولبنان، وتونس، بما في ذلك مشاركتها في معارض في آرت دبي، ومركز بي7إل9 للفنون، ومؤسسة الدراسات الفلسطينية، والمشاريع الميدانية، وتشكيل، و421.

حصلت دينا على جائزة الفنانة المقيمة في تيكسي (المكسيك، فبراير 2024)، ومركز استوديوهات فيرمونت - الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، سبتمبر 2023، وزميلة في برنامج مساحة أشكال ألوان التابع لأشكال ألوان - لبنان، 2018-2019، وهي ﺧﺮﻳﺠﺔ ﺑﺮﻧﺎﻣﺞ ﻣﻨﺤﺔ ﺳﻼﻣﺔ ﺑﻨﺖ ﺣﻤﺪان ﻟﻠﻔﻨﺎﻧﻴﻦ اﻟﻨﺎﺷﺌﻴﻦ - الإمارات، 2016-2017.
